Our stay in this charming hotel, right in the heart of Chania’s old town and just steps from the harbor, was simply magical. The place itself is beautiful — tastefully designed, modern, and comfortable — but what truly makes it exceptional are the wonderful hosts, Gina and Mr. Manos.

From the very first moment, we didn’t feel like guests in a hotel, but rather like part of a family. Gina is pure sunshine — always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. Every morning she brightened our day, and both she and Mr. Manos made sure we had everything we needed. Even if you arrive without a plan, they always have the best recommendations for local beaches, authentic restaurants, and secret spots that only locals know.

Having visited Crete five times, we can honestly say this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Everything was perfect — from the warm welcome to the beautiful room and heartfelt hospitality. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, and we can’t wait to return.

We're so happy we decided to spend 3 nights at Amphitrite Hotel during our honeymoon. The staff went over and above to ensure we had a great stay in Chania - they recommended great beaches and places to eat so we always had lots to do. Our only regret is not staying longer. The location cannot be beat, right in the heart of the harbour and steps from everything. We had a "city view" patio and it still had a great view of the mountains and town of Chania (and sunrise). Plus, each floor has a public patio overlooking the harbor, so even if you don't have a harbor view room, a beautiful view is just a few steps down the hall. I highly recommend Amphitrite Hotel if you're looking for a great arTin Chania!

Amphitrite Hotel is a real gem in the heart of Chania. It’s right in the city center with beautiful views of the port 🌊⛵️

The rooms were always super clean. Housekeeping came every day, changed the towels, and restocked water and coffee pods without us asking.

The staff and owner were amazing, friendly, helpful, and full of great advice. They told us which beaches to visit and where to eat, and every recommendation was perfect. Whatever we needed, they were quick to help🙌🏻

If you’re staying in Chania, don’t miss this place. Great location, great people, and unforgettable views. Highly recommend!

I don't think I've ever stayed in a better hotel. There rooms were nice and clean with a great view, but what stood out is the exceptional service. Every staff member from front desk to cleaner was so helpful and kind. They gave us so many recommendations!! It also smells amazing in the lobby, the rooms, the laundry, everything.

Best location in Chania with priceless view on the old harbor. We were welcomed by Valera who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rest of the staff was great too of course! ;)
Big plus is they do the utmost so you can park your rental car in the narrow dead end street as parking anywhere else in the old town is a struggle. If I ever return I know where to go 🥰

The place is gorgeous and in the best location.
View from the balcony (sea side) is 2nd to non.
But the real gem here is the owner Manos, very pleasant person always eager to help and recommend the best spots on the island.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was an amazing experience.
The hotel is insanely central, everywhere in the city centre is within walking distance. We had a view of the old port which was incredible, and the room was clean and looked new and renovated.
Special thank you to Gina and Manos, who made us feel very welcome, with many great local tips on where to go.

We stayed there one night whilst on a road trip but will be back for longer sometime soon. Gena one of the family owners is awesome and very welcoming, although we only had the one night it was like we'd known her for ages, highly recommended. We had the petite room with sea view balcony which overlooked the venetian harbour,jaw dropping view at sunset.
