Imerovigli
Description
Imerovigli is a small resort village near the capital of Santorini Fira. There remain a few churches built in typical Greek style, the main of which is the ancient Church of Theoskepasti on the edge of a cliff. The Church of AI-Stratis, the monastery of St. Nicholas, castle of the Caldera on the cliff top are the main attractions of Imerovigli. The city is situated at the highest point of the mountain range. Once here watched appearing in the sea ships pirates, now it is the best place to view the sunsets.
