Super nice staff and multiple choice for breakfast. I will come back again next time
We are here as tourist. The hotel is not at downtown. We took bus to travel around. The bus system is convenient. Though the hotel belongs to a high class hotel group but the room quite basic. No amenities are provided. Not much eateries or shops are around the area. Hence we took bus to those places. The hotel lobby is nice.
Very good, clean hotel typical of the Hilton brand. Room is big enough, modern and well-maintained. Very good hotel for a good restful night after the flight to Iceland. Parking is free.
room was clean, friendly staff, was very helpful as well, didn't try the food but looks fancy, we could order in as well.
The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was only used as a stopover so it didn't matter too much, and for travelling around Reykjavik we recommend booking another Hilton Curio Select hotel. Facilities in the room were fair and worthy of the Hilton name.
Beautiful hotel central location close to lots staff was great and hotel was clean!!

Fantastic accommodations. Very helpful staff and great room. We stayed here over the new year in room 457 which is a business class room. The room is spacious and quiet with comfortable beds. We had coffee, tea and complimentary chocolate. There is even robes and slippers in the closet. The food in the restaurant was exquisite and the service was excellent. The food is not cheap but worth it. Be...
The beds are comfortable but 1. I had a hard time finding my room 2. I could hear that my neighbours were doing some stuff through the door in my room 3. Breakfast didn't have much variety. This is a fancy hotel but my stay could have been better
Great stay at the hotel. Booked a room including breakfast. The breakfast had lots of variety and choices and fresh produce, some of it local. The hotel staff was friendly and available for all request and questions. The rooms were good and spacious, a little bit noisy because of the door between the two hotel rooms. Located perfectly in the city nothing is ever further than a 20 minute walk anyway
The rooms have good view of their snow-capped mountains. For now it takes longer though to move from the rooms to the ground floor since the hotel is presently undergoing renovation. Their Grilled restaurant on the top floor has 180 degrees view of the city. It serves good food & wine.
The refurbished rooms are nice and comfy with good beds. The old rooms not so good. Once the hotel is finished refurbishment it will be great. Only about 10min walk from town.
Very outdated. There are refurbishment going on but not finished until 2019. Room very tired. Mattresses sagged in the middle. Rang reception they didn't care. Rang later in the day they could do nothing as fully booked but moved us next day to an upgraded room. Some reception staff could be friendlier. Housekeeping very nice. Breakfast buffet selection is good as long as you don't want your food hot...

Breakfast not as good as the other Berjaya hotels. Same spread throughout our 4 breakfasts!!!! Good location for walking around but carpark a little further away from hotel entrance. Very close to return our rental car office. Lots of eateries around but it’s a problem getting a table. Front staff are pleasant but ineffective when issues arise.
This accommodation is quite well located, by walking for about 10mins able to reach a few places of interest in Reykjavik. The room though slightly on the small side, but still able to open 2 big luggages (walking space got abit tighter but still manageable). Bed was comfortable, however we found a stain on the bedsheet:( Overall, it was a nice stay👍🏼
Great location: great harbour view, close to city centre, usually get picked up first for tours. cozy boutique feel.
It is so nice, the room and the lobby environment is sooo cozy!!! Beyond my expectation!
Good vibe. Next to harbor as well. Good resting area at the lobby level . Separate room where you can chill or have discussion.
The hotel is cosy and comfortable. The breakfast starts at 7am which is a little late if you've got some day tours booked as you usually need to be out early, but they allow you to take away which is very useful. The location is good too as it's close to bus stops, the harbour, and the centre of Reykjavik. The room could have done with some more space to store clothes.

The best hotel in Lei City, with a good location, next to the sea view, ten minutes walk from the shopping festival, and next to the concert hall. The room is not big, Nordic style, very tidy and clean, with good sound insulation. Parking is at the door of the hotel, and there will be staff to help you park. The parking fee is very expensive, 400 RMB a day.
The room is comfortable, the transportation is convenient, the view from the rooftop bar is great, the restaurant on the first floor is very famous, reservation is required, but the taste is average, not as good as the Harpa rooftop view restaurant opposite. Overall it's not bad, but it's a bit expensive when booking, and it's 600 cheaper when I came back to check.
Great location, downtown but walking distance to main tourist attractions, main shopping street and nearby many restaurants. Rooms are very clean and well designed. The team was great and helpful, veryy responsive. The food options at the hotel are not the cheapest however I think its very worth its value, i found it super delicious.
A little expensive but still pretty good. My friend stayed in a small suite with a better view. My beggar room has no view at all. To be honest, it's just an ordinary five-star standard. But in Iceland, all right
Very comfortable, the location, environment and service are all great, close to the beach 🏖️, next to Rainbow Street, this time I encountered the Red Storm Hotel and it gave me a free delay
The room was spacious and we even got upgraded! Friendly and helpful staffs!!

Excellently located near downtown Reykjavik and the harbor. The rooms are as pictured, very clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Perhaps they could increase the breakfast selection and add one of those machines that allow you to select various types of hot drinks.
Stylish hotel in a central location. Delicious breakfast. The Junior Suite was perfect for our family of 4. Would recommend!
The room includes free spa, which is good, but there are too many people
This center bar hotel is much newer. Although the room is not big, it is very comfortable to stay in. The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good.
It's a little distance from the city center. Free parking is available in a public free parking lot nearby, which is a 5-minute walk. The room size is OK, but the facilities are average.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoy our visit. Michelle at the front desk provided exceptional service and we will book again for our next visit.
I stayed in Alda Hotel for four nights. The hotel is situated at the city centre of Reykjavik which is very convenient. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. They even prepared a "grab and go" breakfast for me on the last day as I needed to check out early for my flight. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for...
The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary upgrades of room with free wine and chocolate which is pleasant surprise too. The hotel is also central located. There is also free access to gym, sauna and outdoor hotspring too. Greatly recommended
I love the hotel location and cleanliness in the hotel room. It meets my expectations, and all is good.
Convenience place in town centre , services are good, clean and tidy but room is small
Breakfast is good as the expenses in Iceland is high and the booster is good to get rid of the coolness. The room is big with good partition at the entrance to dry the wet coat and shoe with the overnight warm conditioner.

Very nice ??, i’ve been with my school and we had no problem.
Stayed five nights in March 2018. Pleasant stay, good room, bed, and breakfast was very satisfying. Staff were helpful. Would recommend. One drawback was the hotel is far from city center but close to a mall with everything we needed. Gray line bus service helped with transportation needs. Traveled from USA via WOW Iceland airline.
Good hotel for it's price. Close to highway, but I wouldn't say it was a problem. Trivial ham-cheese-omlet-coffee breakfast was good.

Good to stay on a budget. The breakfast is fine and the stafff are helpful and bedrooms fine got to socialise with people over the world however the shower I was having problems getting the right temperature
For what it is, it's fine i guess. The room and the shower was clean, the rest not so much. The tables sticky, the floor old and thus not very appealing. Take care of your food! Ours was stolen from the fridge by other tourists. Not really a fault of the motel but still very uncool. If you are a light sleeper, the you shouldn't stay here! The road is very noisy. Nothing worse than a dorm room. I got to the hostel very very early in the morning (around 5am) and the staff in the kitchen let me sit in the restaurant and wait until i could check in at 2pm. I decided to go for a walk around 9am and the young lady behind the counter put my bag with her and watched it while i did that. they ended up being able to check me in around 10am. Was quite dirty when I arrived...
The hostel was pretty nice, the staff was helpful but not friendly at all. The kitchen was good, bathrooms clean. The only bad thing is that the beds are so extremely noisy, every time someone change slepping position 'even carefully', all the people inside the room note it. Breakfast is normal, but, it is better to buy something in bonus and cook it.
Stayed in a 16 person shared room. Room was clean and so was the bedding. Cleaning staff came in around 9:30am to start cleaning the common kitchen/bathroom areas. There were utensils and cooking supplies for solo travellers to use which was nice! Comfortable common spaces. The bedroom did smell slightly bad, I would argue that it was most probably because of the other guests hanging wet clothing/towels...
I stayed one night here and it was fine. The room was very hot even though we opened the window. We just couldn't find a way to turn down the heat on the radiator (possibly user error). The breakfast wasn't very good so I just ate some yogurt I bought at a store, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

The hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient for restaurants and city attractions. However, the bar downstairs is open all night and is very noisy, which will affect your sleep. If you are sensitive to sound, you should pay attention. But the room is clean and has hot water.

Room was too small. Whole hotel had a very dark, closed in feel. When we originally arrived in Reykjavik we stayed in the Centre Hotel Laugavegur. Although the hotel was further away from the centre of town, the rooms were more spacious and the rate was $90 per night less. The convenience was not worth the extra money.

Super clean hotel, wonderful breakfast, it's not very close to the center, but if you don't like walking 30 minutes there, you can take the bus that stops practically in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it.
A neat hotel, with a good breakfast. Very independent and well arranged with garage

Ideal for a quick stop before traveling on. Ideal location right next to Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy walk or bus to down town, where loads of restraints. Only 1 pillow which was very flat and toilet could do with a bit more of a clean. But generally very nice room.
