Great! Excellent location, nice ambiance, and good facilities too.
They said they'd provide a breakfast box, but I didn't receive one. I guess they forgot.
We had a great stay. Very attentive staff and Elenor made our checkin very smooth and answered all our questions. Perfect location to see the city. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there if we got back to Reykjavík. We also drove ten mins to the lighthouse and saw the best view of northern lights!
The location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4. Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded. And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday...
From the moment you arrive, The Reykjavik EDITION sets the tone: understated luxury, cool Nordic design, and a calm confidence that makes you instantly feel at home. The ambience is effortlessly stylish — modern yet warm, with clean lines, beautiful materials, and a subtle buzz in the lobby and bar that makes it feel alive without ever being loud. It strikes that rare balance between boutique intimacy...
A once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service. We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips...

Friendly and helpful staff. Help us call a taxi when we are in need. Very good.
Good service, convenient location right next to bus stop 12. Lucky to see northern lights right outside the hotel!
Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik...
Rooms were clean and modern, ours had a L'or coffee machine in which I liked but there was no milk so my husband (who prefers milky coffee) didn't use this. There was no room temperature control. We did open the small window in the room but were still too hot. Rain shower was good. There were toiletries in the room and also a recycling bin. Plenty of cubby holes for clothes. Mini fridge. Large safe...
A typical tourist hotel. Located in Reykjavik very close to the bay. The rooms are clean an well equipped with a clean bathroom and toilet. The room is heated centrally so you cannot regulate it yourself. We were here in February and it was always nice warm in the room. Maybe too warm in the night, but you can easily sleep without the duvet. The restaurant downstairs as well as the beer garden are...
This is right off the waterfront, close to all things. You can walk right down to the city center or to the waterfront. Also a great place. If you're gonna take a tour bus to see the northern lights. They do have a little convenience center too. For picking up snacks, the rooms did have a small mini fridge. Everything was very clean. We were pleased great aesthetics. There's a bar and a restaurant

Very good hotel! a bit walk to city center but it s very good walking along way very nice!
The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!
The hotel parking lot is very large.
Friendly staff, the hotel room is a lil bit old

Great location. The staff were rally friendly and welcoming. My room was perfect and very warm and cosy. There is a spa but I didn't use it. The food is the restaurant is excellent and I recommend a visit there.
Well located, the main turistic street in Rekyavik starts right in front of the hotel. The hotel is cosy, with good size rooms and refreshed. The breakfast is great as well and the restaurant is open also for lunch and dinner. The SPA is lovely has two warm tubs and a saun and a small gym I.
We stayed at Midgardur by Center Hotels during a Lesbifriends Travel group trip to Iceland and found it to be a solid, comfortable base in Reykjavik. The location is very convenient, close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, and pick up points for tours, but still felt calm and manageable for a group. The rooms were clean, modern, and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable after long days...
Beautiful modern and clean hotel in the center of Reykjavik. Everything is walking distance from here. Absolutely beautiful. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful record store, if you like music you might get lost in there. Beds are very comfortable, breakfast is great. Next time I will stay longer. Thank you Silvia for the smooth and quick check in.
Fantastic hotel right in the centre of town! Close to all the bus stops for tour pick ups and loads of nice places to eat. Staff are super friendly and the room was clean and large for a city centre hotel. Spa facilities were a great added bonus! 10/10 would definitely stay again.
This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering how expensive things are in Iceland. We stayed for a week and it only cost us about 2500 per person. The hotel staff are incredibly efficient; they typically bring whatever you need within five minutes. For example, when we mentioned our room was cold, they immediately brought a heater. We also requested bowls and an extra blanket, and...

The hotel is really well located. The staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is awesome. The only concern is that the hotel has no dedicated parking but that’s something we were aware of before booking. Found closeby street parking!
Brilliant hotel, great location close enough to centre to walk in (5-10 mins to bars and restaurants) but easy enough to park closeby to. Room was a good size and hotel had a really nice ambience aswell as a good coffee shop underneath. Only downside was we didn’t realise under 12s couldn’t use the spa facilities at any time which was disappointing.
Had a great experience at this hotel, it’s in an ideal location just by the old harbour, easy walking into the city or to the harbour for darker skies! Room was very clean and modern, had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, great selection of buffet style food, and they also provided an early take away breakfast on the day of our check out. We also used the spa twice, which was really...

Friendly staff, location close to marina with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby
Odd review we were told a 4 Star hotel. Rooms smaller than a travel lodge with IKEA type basic furniture. Concrete ceilings. This could be Icelandic style minimalist but not what we thought. The lobby and restaurant were nice and modern feel. We ate in the restaurant and my daughter said the Atlantic Char was the best fish dish she had ever eaten so that's a 5 . This room type is incredibly spacious, especially for Northern Europe. The decor is elegant, and having a microwave in the kitchen is a big plus. It's located on the basement level, and both the room and dining area have doors that open out to a small patio.
The hotel windows couldn't be opened, but the location was great, right on the street with P2 and P3 parking lots across the way. The room was a bit small, and the value for money was slightly low, but it was clean, parking was good, and the staff were friendly.
The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses. The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!
Very comfortable and spacious room. Great location, 5 minute walk to Rainbow Street and many great food options. Right across the street from FlyBus pickup/drop off station.
Hotel  location is perfect, just at the central of the city!

Stay here twice. 2nd best hotel in our 10-days Iceland trip.
Best! Staffs very helpful, especially Geogrey, he is really very good helping us when we missed our tour one morning. Room size is good! Bathroom is best! Highly recommended.
Everything was great except for the slightly out-of-the-way location. The facilities were complete, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive and enthusiastic.
This is my first time visiting Iceland, and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ample room and a big, cozy bathroom. The reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely consider staying here again if I visit Iceland in the future.
The hotel is located in what's arguably the most popular area for hotels in Iceland. It's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor, museums, and shopping spots. The rooms are quite spacious, but the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.
Had a great stay at this hotel. The booking was meant to be for a twin room but initially was given a double. After a bit of searching the staff managed to sort out a twin room for us. On checking out I'd left my Bluetooth headphones in the room. E-mailed the hotel and the headphones had been found and were posted back to me at my expense. Would definitely recommend

Comfortable hotel a short walk from the city center. The room we had was big, with a lovely bed, a bathroom that was clean and spacious enough and all facilities you might need. Lovely hotel with great facilities including a wonderful spa (extra cost for standard guests). Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms reasonably spacious. We paid an upgrade to a twin superior and had early access to the room which we were grateful for, following an early flight. Twin superior room was spacious, coffee machine, fridge and kettle provided, bathroom was great. Really comfy beds. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was superb, loads of choice. Would thoroughly recommend.
Average good. No pedestrian way from BSI station
A good stay overall! A nice hotel just on the outskirts of town. Nice foyer area and the room itself was clean and good. Reception staff were okay without being exceptional. Shower water was slow to run away.

Rooms are specious and clean . Good location near from restaurants , bars and to visit the city by walk .
We had only a 1 day stay as we were getting on a cruise ship. This hotel was very close to the cruise port and the staff their directed us to a walkable distance to a free shuttle bus to the cruise port, We explored the area , which was downtown, on foot and enjoyed it very much..
Overpriced for the quality of the room Good location but room with slanted ceiling and only skylights without windows. Felt like we were in an attic. Not happy with the room for the price we paid.
The room was clean however the bathroom really smelt badly of “drain”. The bed was comfortable and the area was generally quiet. The breakfast was very crowded with little room to manoeuvre. The hot food was lukewarm at best with the bacon being totally undercooked on the first morning and overcooked on the second morning. The bread I felt like eating on the second morning of my stay was still frozen...

The hotel is in a great location, about five minutes' walk to the beach. It's super cool to run along the coast. You can see the sea from the double room window! Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik. But the price you pay for the central location is it is very noisy at night until the early hours of the morning. We also appeared to have construction work being carried out in rooms above us, starting at 9am. Perfect if you're there for the nightlife but not if you're hoping to get some sleep
My friend and I had two large suitcases, and we could both lay them flat – the room was really spacious and comfortable. The only minor thing was that the duvet was a bit small, even for a woman, but it was very clean. Overall, very satisfied!
The hotel is nice but I felt it was a bit budget for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff. The tap was loose in the bathroom. In the bathroom of my room the sink area was too small. Good location, healthy breakfast and the male receptionist was very helpful
This stay was, to put it mildly, a bug-infested lesson. I stayed for 4 nights. The first two nights were fine, but on the third night, things went south – I started getting bitten by bugs in the room, resulting in red spots all over my body. This wasn't just me being sensitive; these were clearly visible bites that required photographic evidence (which I did take, of both the spots and the bugs)....
We had a pleasant stay overall. The check-in staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making a great first impression. Overall, it's still pretty good. The location is better than Station 12, but Station 12 is definitely more convenient since most pickups and drop-offs happen there.

The hotel sits on a street corner, with easy access to the city centre and a nice view of the harbour. Clean and warm, with enjoyable breakfast. The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available. I would definitely go back in the future.
Hotel is in a great location (close to bus stop 5 which you'll get why knowing bus stop numbers is ideal as this is where you wait for yours to pick up or bus to the airport). Breakfast is good and close to harbour means nice views. Just come with an idea of spending more than you think as that is how Iceland is! Blue Lagoon is a must...!
The room facilities are complete and the space is quite large. It's very close to the pier, making it a great choice if you're planning a whale-watching trip. The hotel's hygiene is good, and it's super close to Boss Zhu's restaurant, highly recommended!
The location is excellent, within walking distance to the city's popular attractions, restaurants, cafes, etc. The room is relatively small, but comfortable. If you want to be in the old harbor area this is the spot. Great staff, very much my kind of place and interesting non chain vibe. Lots of Construction close by and across from us a ship was being repaired so the Old Harbor still has some authenticity but most of it. It’s been turned over to tourist attractions. The location is very convenient, with a Little Pig supermarket downstairs. The reception staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there was a view of the landmark church from the window. Storage space was a bit limited, especially in winter when I had a bunch of coats and gloves.
The room is a good size, very clean, warm comforter, nice TV, clean bathroom. But! Poor lighting, no in-house telephone, no instructions for remote.  But,  the receptionist young man is full of information, very well spoken, and took care of my needs.  The breakfast, an avocado toast, and coffee were excellent. So good! I would recommend the hotel as its location is super.
