Very attentive staff and Elenor made our checkin very smooth and answered all our questions. Perfect location to see the city. Would definitely stay there if we got back to Reykjavík
Great place! Lovely hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. Breathtaking views with fabolous and helpful staff. Can't imagine better place to spend time in when visiting Iceland. There is just No competition!
Great! Excellent location, nice ambiance, and good facilities too.
They said they'd provide a breakfast box, but I didn't receive one. I guess they forgot.
We will definitely recommend the edition for a premium experience with some superstar members of staff. Thank you Edition team! Jason & Fabio
We also drove ten mins to the lighthouse and saw the best view of northern lights!

Good service, convenient location right next to bus stop 12. Lucky to see northern lights right outside the hotel!
Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe
On a winter vacation of Europe my girlfriend and I found ourselves at our last stop: Iceland. The fosshotel reykjavík is were we laid down temporary roots. I booked us a room in the tower and the view didn't disappoint
Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble
I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik
But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food

The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby
The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!
Loved! First, the room was clean and quiet and comfortable. Next, the staff was so kind and helpful, we wanted for nothing. Plus, it was in a great location for getting wherever we needed to go
Great place to stay and enjoyed both the sauna and gym facilities a lot~
Beautiful hotel central location close to lots staff was great and hotel was clean!!
Though the hotel belongs to a high class hotel group but the room quite basic. Not much eateries or shops are around the area. Hence we took bus to those places

Fantastic hotel 100/100 -Great location (city center + everything nearby, and also **not** noisy/loud at night; can also walk there from BSI Terminal) -Super room (Superior Room, was great, slept soo well) -Delicious Breakfast with English Breakfast, Iceland Food (Fish Skye), Pastry and Fresh Fruit
The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses. The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!
Excellent location, friendly reception, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Go for the breakfast, they are great. You don’t find breakfast outside early in the morning
Very comfortable and spacious room. Great location, 5 minute walk to Rainbow Street and many great food options. Right across the street from FlyBus pickup/drop off station.
The hotel windows couldn't be opened, but the location was great, right on the street with P2 and P3 parking lots across the way
It's located on the basement level, and both the room and dining area have doors that open out to a small patio

Reykjavik, Sigtun 28 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything was great except for the slightly out-of-the-way location. The facilities were complete, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was attentive and enthusiastic.
The hotel is located in what's arguably the most popular area for hotels in Iceland. It's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor, museums, and shopping spots
All good. Service level excellent.  Perhaps just need to have more amenities like vanity kit, essential items like bathroom slippers in the room rather than we request for it at the front desk.  Otherwise all good.
Facilities are great, including for dining and drinking. Excellent front desk staff call Olga who directed me to nearby places of interest and dining. She is very helpful and knowledgeable in this area
The room was great, and the front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was superb! The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, so getting out for breakfast can be a trek
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Hospitality at The Grand Hotel My stay at The Grand Hotel was made truly memorable thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the staff especially Olga and Christian

Superb hotel! Very stylish, clean and comfortable place to stay. The location is spot on for exploring the city and close to bus stop 6 (if you're booking tours)
Beds and pillows were comfortable. Great location from all the Reykjavík sites
We were moved to a smaller room with a different type of shower after being told that the room would be the same as what we had before. Overall the stay was good and the location made up for the discrepancy
This hotel is in a wonderful location and within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, and shops. The breakfast is very diverse and offers a multitude of options for whatever you may desire
Great options for buffet breakfast (included). Rooms are small but there are plenty of open communal spaces throughout the hotel. You can borrow a portable record player and records for your room if you like
Bus stop is just steps away for tour pick ups and flybus drop off. Great for a friend's getaway, couples, or solo travellers. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel

Its location is however a fair walk out of town (and beyond the bus station). We coped because we’re happy to walk, but there’s a lot of construction going on in the area, which made part of the walk a difficult one
For those who are planning organised day trips: due to it's location this hotel is the first pick-up point for most travel companies. This means you'll always sit with your travel companion!
Lovely hotel with great facilities including a wonderful spa (extra cost for standard guests). Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent and worth paying that bit extra
Hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. I was staying with my wife just for 2 nights and we both are satisfied. Hotel window view was amazing. only 8-10 minutes walking distance from bus station
Comfortable hotel a short walk from the city center. The room we had was big, with a lovely bed, a bathroom that was clean and spacious enough and all facilities you might need
The breakfast buffet was good, as long as you stay away from the waffle irons and the espresso machine if you have only a short amount of time (they have very tasty filter coffee at the other end of the buffet, no queues there)

The location alone makes it special — but what truly made it magical was seeing the aurora dancing right above the hostel rooftop
The location of the hotel is very good, and there are hot springs. The public area is clean and cosy.
It was very decent and clean for the common areas and facilities, the hot tub were great
Staff were friendly and location is just right in the middle of the city centre
Great value for money! The room has a nice ambiance with adjustable lighting, and the bathroom is spacious enough. Plus, the front desk is open 24/7, and the location is super convenient.
i paid for the breakfast - got a bag of food including a drink, a bread, an apple, a small box of granola and jam, and a yogurt and a free access to coffee machine - nothing fancy but good enough to feel full and energised

The location being right in the middle was great for access to everything you need and right next to Bus Stop #1 for collection for all tours in the area, which is great when your getting dropped off at near 1am after a northern lights excursion
The location of the hotel is excellent—close to everything and perfect for exploring the city. I also loved how convenient it was to walk around nearby shops, lake and attractions
the bus station #1 is like 2 minutes away, which seemed like the biggest tourist pickup location in Reykjavík for many day tours
As well, Robert made our dining experience personal and provided most wonderful local recommendations for our travels. The staff make this hotel what it is, and it has truly been my best experience at a hotel in years
The female front desk staff's attitude towards Asians was a bit indifferent, while the male staff was very enthusiastic; the difference in attitude was quite noticeable. There was free water in the room
When our airport driver was running late, they promptly assisted us in getting in touch with him and even offered to arrange an alternative driver to ensure we wouldn’t miss our flight

The only bad thing about this place is that I was only able to stay here 1 night … I had an amazing experience, the room Was very spacious and beautiful, great location, but most of all the customers service was over the top ,the young lady at the front desk, Yvette was phenomenal, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, made reservations , and gave me great suggestions and recommendations...
The front desk staff were very helpful and advised us where to park our car. The hotel doesn't have its own parking space. We had to park at any space available at the narrow lane in front of the hotel
Good location, receptionist help me a lot by booking my tour and my airport transfer. Great location near to bus stops
The hotel is ideally situated, just out of the main hustle and bustle, easily reached by a 5-10 minute walk, even being so close to a working port it was really quiet (the engineers working on the ship on the slipway didn't start work until after 8!) Breakfast was varied and plentiful! All the staff were very helpful and friendly - would definitely recommend
The restaurant is consistently clean and well-stocked even during peak periods. The on site restaurant is also highly regarded, particularly for its exceptional cocktail menu and the skill of its mixologist
Originally Iceland’s only paint factory, the hotel has been meticulously transformed into a modern and practical accommodation. The buffet style breakfast offers a wide selection of food to suit all tastes

The front desk staff made check-in a breeze, and they even used a translation app on their phone if there were any English communication difficulties. Although the room was small, it was very cozy
The location is also fantastic, right by the sea, just 100 meters away. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to popular areas like the church and Rainbow Street
Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets conveniently located nearby
Great location. clean room. perfect for couples.

The breakfast is also very good! The hot water becomes stable very quickly! The room was clean and quiet! It's also very close to the church! The location is great!
Staff are friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean, nice breakfast start from 6. Fosshotel Lind just opposite this hotel. Staff not friendly and helpful at all, rooms are ok but small toilet
The front desk is 24 hours a day. If you arrive at night, you need to ring the doorbell on the left side of the main entrance. You need to inform the front desk the night before if you want to have your room cleaned
Their breakfast starts from 7am, and they only packed 4 sets of packed breakfast daily if you didn’t inform them before 12pm, there is nothing their staff can do for you
They help you with anything from postcards you need sent out to questions about the city and the best places to eat. There was no need to rent a car to see the city

The hotel has a great location, close to the surrounding area, including supermarkets, and there's a shuttle bus nearby.
Well located and only a short walk to the city centre-old town. Bathrooms/shower is too small for use. Beds are comfortable. limited services offered at the accomodation.
The hotel is within walking distance of the pedestrian street. There are parking spaces next to the hotel. It's a typical three-star hotel.
Not sure if it is part of the culture here but just want to let guests know that be prepared to not get any help or goodwill gesture for this hotel if you are faced with any last min delays/hiccups
I think the hotel is a bit old with no dry and wet separation, but good location and nice staff there.
Our request was declined because they only prepare 4 extra sets of breakfast to go everyday, no extras and if we need extras we need to let them know before noon the day before

Fantastic location, handy for bus stop 3 for tours and what a stunning building! Staff are so helpful, can’t fault the place.
Great location, simple, clean room. Walls are a little thin, could hear other doors being opened and closed

Really good location for our need. At edge of city center, but close enough. Around the corner from bus stop 9 and a block from a very good food hall and 24/7 market.
The hotel is in a good location, very close to bus stop 9, making it easy to get around. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby, making it very convenient
Perfect location for someone traveling solo. Conveniently located to dining and shopping. Very walkable to anywhere no need for car rental or public transportation

“Bus stop 1” is just a few steps away and serves as a pickup location for most tours as well as easy airport transportation via Flybus. However, the absolute best part about our stay here was the staff
Great experience here with a very centrally located property. It was stylish, clean, comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this location for any visit to Reykjavik
Lovely hotel in the perfect location in downtown Reykjavik
The hotel was immaculate, the room was great and the heated towel rack in the bathroom was awesome! Bring your own conditioner if you use that because they only give you shampoo and you only get liquid bath gel so also bring soap if you like that instead
Alena, Martin, Ana Maria, and their coworkers were just delightful. Not once were we made to feel like a request was bothersome. They genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible in their country
Iceland is a land of incredible beauty, but it is the way people treated us that will keep us coming back and we will not consider staying anywhere else but with our friends at the Kvosin

The location is on the outskirts of the very busiest part of downtown Reykjavik, but still central and a stones throw from the ocean walkway
The accommodation seemed old, but it was in good condition. The only downside was that the bathroom didn't drain properly. It's fine for a short overnight stay.
But the room is super spacious and with a little balcony that faces the seaside which makes winter night viewing in Iceland just on another level entierly
Great hotel, the staff super friendly and service is amazing. Just a little nitpick is the placement of the TV position is a little odd
The shower was so tiny; the shower head is not adjustable so my hair got wet every time I got in the shower, the shower curtain clung to my body, and the water got all over the bathroom floor
Also, if you smoke, at night you may be left at the porch in subzero temperatures, if the night shift person is doing errands and isn't there to let you back in when you've finished smoking

Reykjavik, Armuli 9, Haaleiti, 108 Reykyavik, Stolichnaya oblast, Islandiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are ever travelling to Reykjavík, and here’s why. Arrival: When you arrive, you are welcomed into a warm and quiet atmosphere
Rooms: Upon entering the room, you are greeted with comfortable, tidy beds (depending on how many guests are staying) and a neatly kept bathroom with all the essentials, including: A shower Plenty of towels Toilet paper Soaps Next to the bed is a bedside table with a convenient iPhone charging lamp, which is very easy to use — you simply place your phone against the X-shaped holder
Around four metres in front of the beds, there is a tray with tea, coffee, sugar, and similar items, along with a mini fridge. A mirror is placed near the bed, although I felt it could have been cleaned a little better
Service: The breakfast area offers a paid buffet breakfast in the mornings, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar also has a happy hour, which I believe runs from 5pm to 6pm, offering both drinks and food
The reception desk is on the left, with comfortable sofas and seating directly in front of you. The reception staff are very helpful and assisted us with directions to get into downtown Reykjavík
Depending on the room size, there is also a table and chair, which is ideal for reading or relaxing. A modern, high-tech telephone is also provided in the room
