Very nice ??, i’ve been with my school and we had no problem.

Stayed five nights in March 2018. Pleasant stay, good room, bed, and breakfast was very satisfying. Staff were helpful. Would recommend. One drawback was the hotel is far from city center but close to a mall with everything we needed. Gray line bus service helped with transportation needs. Traveled from USA via WOW Iceland airline.

The hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient for restaurants and city attractions. However, the bar downstairs is open all night and is very noisy, which will affect your sleep. If you are sensitive to sound, you should pay attention. But the room is clean and has hot water.

Although I repeatedly emphasized that I could make up the price difference, the local guy at the front desk still upgraded the room for free and recommended local food. The hotel is next to the square, surrounded by many restaurants and a small and medium-sized supermarket.

Super clean hotel, wonderful breakfast, it's not very close to the center, but if you don't like walking 30 minutes there, you can take the bus that stops practically in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it.

It's not in the city center, but the flybus can go directly to the hotel entrance. The breakfast is OK. Self check-in is available. The room is not big. I only stayed here for one night and left in the morning. It's hard to comment on other aspects, but it's OK overall.

He guided us with the parking in Iceland and also upgraded our room without asking. Hotel is located on a quiet street, but you are within walking distance of city center. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the pier, and the staff are friendly. While there's no parking available, there are paid parking spaces opposite the hotel, and free parking is a 10-minute walk away, but ask the staff. Breakfast is simple, and the seating is limited, but perfect, with no waiting. Children can share a bed at no extra charge.

Ideal for a quick stop before traveling on. Ideal location right next to Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy walk or bus to down town, where loads of restraints. Only 1 pillow which was very flat and toilet could do with a bit more of a clean. But generally very nice room.

Close to the cathedral and the bus station, the environment is quiet, the rooms are clean, there are many places to eat around, there are plenty of people, and the house prices are cost-effective. It is recommended

This hotel was booked by the tour company and the reviews were good. We arrived after a stressful start to the holiday and immediately felt relaxed when we met Mike & Dido. We really enjoyed our stay at the Grimur hotel. The place was clean, convenient. Icelandic people are very friendly, but Zuzanna took it to another level. She helped us out so much and always with a smile.

Great place to stay when in Reykjavik. Good clean facilities. You get the codes to enter the place and your room prior to check in and that's it. No staff needed. Hassle free check in and check out procedure. Decent location, 7 to 10 mins from the city centre.

Considering how everything around here is so expensive, this hotel is pretty great. I mean, it's still not affordable for some, but I enjoyed my stay here and that makes it worth the money.

Conscientious location. Check-in was very easy. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She recommended dining options, asked about our travels for the day and made suggestions for additional sights to see on our route for the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included…a nice selection of breads, cereals, yogurt, and fruit.

The hotel was really clean, safe, quiet and, convenient location. The staff is very friendly especially Alex in the front desk he was so helpful.

Maybe improve the breakfast variety. Eggs can be cooked in different ways. Fruit can also be different.

Refused first room as it smelt (not the sulphur smell that you sometimes find) but in the living area. Quickly was given a second room that was large spacious and clean. Shower wasn’t great, did not go that hot and would suddenly go cold. No front screen, just one to the side, toilet and all the floor in front of the toilet gets soaked - a squeegee would have helped to not have a soaking bathroom floor...

Stayed after a late flight in. Was only like 35 min from KEF and right off the highway. Very reasonably priced, clean and staff was incredible polite and friendly. Breakfast was good and multiple options. We enjoyed our stay

The hotel was very centrally located and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable - a little bit old but not a big issue. They offered to store our luggages upon check out which was a good service. They didn’t provide any parking space but there were public parking spots nearby.

The friendly and helpful service made my stay very pleasant.  They opened breakfast early for me when I had an early flight to catch. The location was a bit too far from the downtown for walking, and Reykjavík is quite hilly.  I would suggest they have shuttles to downtown every few hours.

We stayed here for three nights but no one ever came to clean. The room was small but the breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, right in the heart of Reykjavik's old town. You can easily walk everywhere from here, and the surrounding area is quite peaceful too. It's also great that there's a large parking lot behind the hotel.

The hotel was temporarily unavailable and we didn't stay, but the hotel service was okay. They moved us to another hotel. The overall service attitude was good. When we passed by the hotel, it looked good. The location was OK.

Great stay @Reykjavik near sea side Very good & friendly service and really excellent breakfast. The hotel.is on walking distance from the seaside. The bed is a bit small for two and I am not sure if there is a superior room with larger beds. The rooms are a bit noisy, you hear everything from the people in the isles.

The location is easily accessible by public transit. It’s a self-service hotel, so guests must be sure to reach out if they haven’t received checkin instructions. There are staff at the hotel and on call who are very friendly and helpful about routine issues which arise. The included breakfast buffet is remarkable!!!

It is close to the city center and is in a good location for Flybus. The staff is friendly and it is clean and nice.

The hotel staff are warm and considerate. The room space is narrow. The table and chairs need to be pushed aside to have room to open the large suitcase. The toilet hygiene needs improvement.

The location was a reasonable distance from the center, not too far or too close, and even though it was an early check-in, they kindly accepted me, saying there was a room available.

The staff were so incredible! I landed really early in the morning way before check-in and they held my bag for me. Lovely stay, but the hotel is in need of modernisation. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Close to public transport and pick up bus stops. Shame the buses do not come up to the hotel anymore due to road restrictions. From the from of the hotel, you get a nice ocean view, sadly mine overlooked the carpark.

A good little hotel that works for a single traveler. Everything is basic but works and rooms look nicely renovated. There's just no elevator for those with a lot of luggage and the windows are very thin so you hear all the noise from the outside especially if you're facing the church.
