46Heima is a fabulous place to stay in Reykjavik. For us it felt like home away from home. For the same price as a nice hotel room you get a place that feels all you own. The location was great with tons of shops and restaurants a short distance away. We had the most wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast right in the heart of Reykjavik! The owner´s warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, so thoughtful! We stayed in the upper floor, absolutely loved it!

This place really is a treasure. Perfect location in the center of Reykjavík. Beautiful historic architecture and extremely clean. Breakfast in the morning was great… with lots of local treats. We enjoyed talking with our host and meeting some of the other guests around the table. We would highly recommend this quaint and charming guest house!

Very sweet and perfectly located. The host is very charming , the community breakfast table was a fun way to meet other travelers. Our bedroom was rather small which made it a little uncomfortable but it was cozy.

This hotel had the nicest staff I encountered during my trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. Their warm attitude made me feel comfortable and cared for. I really loved staying here and would happily come back again.

We were really pleased with our stay here both times we've visited. Julia, Victoria and the staff there were unfailingly polite and helpful. The building we stayed in was well appointed and super convenient to everything we wanted to do. The only challenge here is parking, but it's possible if you pay attention. Plan ahead if you have folks in your party who have accessibility concerns.

Wonderful place to stay! We were able to check in earlier which was great since our flight landed very early in the morning. The views were spectacular and the room was very clean and quiet space. Evrything was good except that apartment had a strong fishy smell that just wouldnt air out in the 3 days we stayed there.

It's OK The room was large and nice accoring to the decription. There was actually everything available what you need. The location (in case you have a car) and environment is great (parking, gym, foodstire etc.). There are just a few things which should be maintained and fixed. I stayed there 7 days, there was no cleaning at all and you have to organize new towels and bedsheets by yourself by finding...

Access to laundry was a nice convenience. Self-check in was simple. Only minor inconvenience was the mini fridge didn't have a freezer section.

I chose this property for the washer dryer. It was a disaster. The circuit kept tripping. Had to make a call. There’s only one set for the whole floor and the dryer never did dry the clothes. I had to hang my clothes all over the apartment. The shower and sink drains were clogged and the night light switch was broken next to bed. Also only one sleeping pillow per person.

Good location for driving into the city, free parking, and clean. We appreciated having a small kitchen to prepare our own food, with dishes and cutlery provided. Check in was smooth but it was hard to get sheets and pillowcases for the sofa bed (they were not in our room upon arrival and we had to go find them ourselves on another floor). Modern apartment near a grocery store and bakery. The unit itself was clean but lacked some amenities. There were no black out curtains so it was bright at night. The shower basin was too small and you had to shut the shower off several times to let it drain so it wouldn’t flood the floor.

Apartment was great, as was the location. Only two minor adjustments I would make personally - put felt pads on all the furniture, this will reduce noise for the apartment below. Second is the shower, place a bracket at an angle for the hand held sprayer so it doesn’t just spray you vertically!

Good, well equipped facility in an excellent location. Good, courteous staff. Only downside is location works against you at weekends late at night with street noise (unless you're one of them of course), so perhaps not best for young families. Recommended.

Beautiful venue, would highly recommend. Had been doing the ring road in a van that would last couple of days was so wonderful to come into such a cleanup, aesthetic, and calm environment to spend the night again. The breakfast was a big highlight, it’s not very often a hotel breakfast tastes like a home cooked meal!

Originally we did not receive the code for the floor door, but the help we received was good. The room itself was very neat and tidy, and had all the equipments we need to make our stay comfortable. There is a bonus 5 mins walk away if you need anything and the location of the hotel is ideal.

It was very neat, tidy!! Loved that it had a cooking station! Did coffee and tea every day!! Staff was not to friendly, but i found alot of Icelanders were not on the very friendly side unfortunately!

The apartment had everything although there is questionable staining above the one window and lots of moisture around the window. Kitchen table has lots of scuff/tear marks in it which does not give the impression of care for furniture. Coffee provided are open and not individually packaged or sealed. This is not a 5 star accommodation as in luxury etc. But it by no means deserved a 4 star review , so I had to give it 5. Lovely and cosy and clean. Very very helpful and friendly staff. We also had the breakfast basket added and it was fantastic, such a lovely treat every day. Would highly recommended both for couples and especially for families.

We absolutely loved our apartment which had a separate double bedroom and twin beds in the living area. Having a sofa, kitchen and dining table was lovely - it felt like being at home. the breakfast baskets delivered to our door were very generous and good quality. The kids loved having a PlayStation! Good location close to the main shopping street and places to eat. Highly recommended.

Great apartments, spacious and luxurious with lots of complimentary food and drinks. The apartments are in a great location, less than 5 minutes walk from the city center and the main shopping street.

Really a great hotel in the suite type style. Clean, immaculate, and a great central location in Reykjavik. Staff is very helpful. One staff member called back a tour bus after we had accidently missed the departure time. Definitely, worth the price!

Wonderful location just off the center of the city. Comfortable and clean apartment. Felt very safe for a solo traveler. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. I didn’t use the other appliances. Bed was comfy and shower was fantastic. Host communication was excellent. Convenient luggage storage if you get in early, or if you are leaving the city well after check out.

It offers great value for money, is located in the city center, and is very close to other places; the cathedral is just up a hill away.

Spend a weekend in Reykjavik! A weekend was the perfect amount of time to explore the city of Reykjavik. We found a great tour about the local lore and a couple of museums about Icelandic history.
