Radisson Blu Saga Hotel, Reykjavík1 / 41

Reykjavik, Hagatorg (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Very helpful staff and great room. We stayed here over the new year in room 457 which is a business class room. The room is spacious and quiet with comfortable beds. We had coffee, tea and complimentary chocolate
There is even robes and slippers in the closet. The food in the restaurant was exquisite and the service was excellent. The food is not cheap but worth it. Be sure to book your room including breakfast
It's a bit more expensive but completely worth it. There are all kinds of things, both cold and warm for every taste. One thing which needs a proper update is the wifi in the room
We basically had little to no connection in our room. Not that it mattered much for us, but I imagine it can be a problem for some
Great hotel. Wi-Fi reaches out to the Parking lot, the toilet is clean, the room did not happen?
Booked a room including breakfast. The breakfast had lots of variety and choices and fresh produce, some of it local. The hotel staff was friendly and available for all request and questions

Pick up for the tours was only a few blocks away. Rooms and service were awesome as was the breakfast. Stayed 3 nights and would go back again and stay there in a heartbeat
We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoy our visit. Michelle at the front desk provided exceptional service and we will book again for our next visit.
I stayed in Alda Hotel for four nights. The hotel is situated at the city centre of Reykjavik which is very convenient. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful
The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary upgrades of room with free wine and chocolate which is pleasant surprise too
The food from the hotel restaurant Brass was also delicious, staff were friendly and efficient. The Alda was always warm, welcoming, friendly and clean
They even prepared a "grab and go" breakfast for me on the last day as I needed to check out early for my flight

just wonderful and helpful always!!! Rooms were clean, beds comfy, and BREAKFAST was a wonderful experience of delights! I read another review mentioning some maintenance could be improved(which I would agree) but as with any home there is always something needing something
They somehow overbooked our accommodation so the room e wanted wasn't available. Malwina the lady working at the front desk worked to get us a room as it was very late. She accomplished it and we were very pleased
Front desk personnel was extremely helpful and friendly - both young ladies - one from Poland and one Hong Kong. Good breakfast, and Clean serviceable rooms. Bathroom is a bit small but definitely functional
This is my 2nd trip to Iceland in 18 months. For what I paid, this is good value. Not your Ritz or Marriott resort kind of accommodation which I've been to many times. All 8 of us in our group felt the same
Stayed five nights in March 2018. Pleasant stay, good room, bed, and breakfast was very satisfying. One drawback was the hotel is far from city center but close to a mall with everything we needed
Joyce Bertschinger here we (My BF & I ) stayed from Nov 13-17th. It was clean & comfortable! Breakfast was super, great! The four people we met working at the desk far exceeded our expectations

And the breakfast was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had! I’d go back just for that!! The berry juice was so good, and so much variety. The restaurant looks out over the lake. Area around the hotel very pretty
Room was very spacious and well appointed, if dated in style. Removed one star for a musty smell and the very weird decor, including a strange and out of place Mexico theme
Excellent staff and customer service! From check in to cocktails at the bar, it was a very enjoyable experience. Spacious room for our family of five.
Great view and facility and comfortable stay The facility is very nice, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent and friendly staff.
Amazing place, extremely clean, beautiful decor, would recommend this place over any hotel downtown
We try to ask the staffs to help but it’s really late ( we checked in after 11pm) staffs was not at the desk by the time we needed help with. We are group travel and the coffee in the room only has two capsules

What an awesome spot- quiet and comfortable, yet right in the heart of it all. The breakfast buffet was impressive and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful centrally located hotel. Check in and out was easy, reception staff was very helpful. I was able to check in earlier and given a free drinks as an ******* platinum member
We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary access to hot spring and spa which is wonderful. The hotel is also central located
Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, only small for those with a lot of luggage. Attentive staff. Tasty and varied breakfast.
The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. The breakfast spread is plentiful and delicious too
Clean and welcoming. Fantastic location and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and rooms were comfortable.

It was easy to find the hotel and my room. The code on the door was kept switching but eventually got inside. It’s not a luxury but you got everything you need. The kitchen has all basic stuff and even tea and coffee
Very convinient location next of dowtown. Well organized syetdm for Check in. Would recommend gor 1 or 2 nights with budget.
It wasn’t busy and I felt safe there. A little walk down from the hotel and you reach this beautiful view which is gorgeous
There is a common kitchen, When I left the hotel, I found that I had not taken the necklace. They found it and kept it.
Great location, surprisingly really clean. Best hotel if you are joining any tour starting from bus stop 12.
Quaint little space at an awesome location. Basic amenities, good enough for a solo traveller

Great location right near Hallgrimskirkja Church, easy walking distance to everything. I stayed the night before my ringroad tour and the night after and had a room on 3rd floor both times
Small kitchenette with microwave, kettle and fridge. Good single rooms for solo travellers at a decent price for Reykjavik. Decor is a little tired but I didn't really mind that
Ideal for a quick stop before traveling on. Ideal location right next to Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy walk or bus to down town, where loads of restraints
Lift doesn't work so if you have heavy bags maybe not the best choice. Can't comment on breakfast as I checked out early both days so missed it
Communication from hotel was good, I arrived late and they sent me self check in details that were easy to follow
Only 1 pillow which was very flat and toilet could do with a bit more of a clean. But generally very nice room

The continental breakfast is excellent, nice and fresh with plenty of choice, try rhe freshly made waffles mum. I am no good with names, but all the staff were friendly, polite, smiling and very helpful
It is a bit out of the way, but all the excursions pick you up at the door, and you are always first on and off the bus so grab the front seat to see the beautiful scenery
The staff at the arctic comfort hotel was amazing , nice room , nice continental breakfast. The friendliness of the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make my stay as good as it was
We were pleasantly surprised, rooms are spacious and lovely and warm, we had to run the radiator down
They helped us to plan the excursions and suggest a place to eat, which luckily was a block away, as it was windy, cold and snowing. Would suggest you pay a visit to Ginger, the healthy fast food place
Clean comfy beds, rooms tidied on a daily basis, tea trays restocked and lovely hot showers, with it being Iceland expect a slight smell of sulphur from the hot water

They clean your room daily and provide you with clean towels. There's also a small sink, full length mirror, hair dryer and kettle in the rooms
For all the comments about the sulfur smell from the hot water, you’re staying on a nation built from volcanoes whose aquifers are down in that geologic soil. You travel to experience something different
Access in and out was easy around the clock. Key drop off before reception opens was also easy. I stayed in an room with an en-suite bathroom and double bed, and was sad to leave when the time came
My daughter accidentally dropped the top of her contact lens case down the sink, and the guy at the reception desk came up immediately to help us get it out. It was fixed within five minutes
Have stayed in other places when we needed bigger rooms for more people and it was the same there. Will definitely stay here again if I’m lucky enough to return to Reykjavik!
The bed was so comfortable and everything was immaculately clean

Warm friendly welcome and clean. Comfortable beds and rooms with lovely views. Great choice at breakfast. Reception were a fantastic help I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
We used it as our honeymoon accommodation! We spent a total of 5 nights at Fosshotel Reykjavik
This hotel was good value. It was near the city centre and easy to get to. Friendly staff and great breakfast. I would recommend waiting until 7 to come down for breakfast to avoid the large tour groups.
We extended our stay at the hotel! The breakfast was varied and bus stop 12 was right in front, so it was convenient to freely go on tours!! And the information staff were very friendly
Amazing location, delicious food and drink throughout, and one of the nicest looking building on the Reykjavik landscape - beautiful and yet very practical to help keep your bearings of this amazing city!
If you said you could see the aurora, we went to the beach 5 minutes away to see it

The location is very good with free parking. Just only no facility, because the pool was closed.
Service is very good and people there are helpful and nice.
Buffet breakfast is good. A little too dark as lightning is little. There is a cat wander around, lovely.
The hotel is quite warm, which is lovely, but when you are dressed in thermals it is quite overbearing. If you are naturally warm it may be worth bringing clothes other than thermals to wear in the hotel
Clean and stylish hotel. Location is good
The hotel has a diverse breakfast and the front desk service is also very good, but the room facilities are old, especially the washbasin is very small, and the shower water is very small and old.

Lastly, I stayed there for 5 nights and quite a few hotels would offer an upgrade or special promotion like a free use of spa etc. Anyway, I didn't expect too much and made me feel better
Nice and clean hotel. Room is quite spacious compared with other hotel. Location is also convenient with a few minutes drive to city Center. Although it is near airport but it is very quite. There is no noise at all.
No self service laundry in the hotel as it is very common nowadays. The price list of serviced laundry seems too expensive as they still charge based on your pieces
Great breakfast included with each night so I recommend you book with that. We also booked to have the spa and that is also a great idea
Everything is good except two things: 1. The shower area is too dark and small (only 2
Luckily my husband and I are small guys! Their photo on the website is a bit tricky! as I usually check the outlook of washroom before I book a hotel. I was so disappointed and frustrated at that time honestly

My granddaughter and I enjoyed our overnight and the location was great for local sightseeing. Very helpful staff with respect to local eateries, etc.
Equipment may be a bit too old, but still not bad.
Hotel was clean and the spa was wonderful
Friendly front office, clean and spacious room, toilet and shower room was small but it was sufficient for my use. Bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance away , US embassy as well (no use , simply mentioned though)

The location is good, end of the main shopping street in Reykjavik city centre. However, limited parking space and you have to find an empty space according to their map as public free parking on different streets
We are lucky to park our car at the back of the hotel when one just left. Otherwise, need to move our luggage far away to the hotel
Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, although would have preferred a double duvet, rather than 2 singles. Two great spa pools and a fantastic range of food for breakfast is included
Good hotel which is centrally located with easy access to all major points of interest. Simple but well appointed breakfast
lived for 8 nights clean room nice staff at front desk who recommended nice places nearby water pressure for showering can be a bit stronger yummy breakfast with acceptable amount of choices acceptable distance from main street not noisy when sleep
We stayed here our first 3 days in Reykjavik, we were extremely jet lagged and pretty miserable when we arrived but this hotel made everything a little bit easier

Top marks! This is a perfect little hotel. Prime location and fantastic service. Of particular note is the breakfast and the spa facility
The property was very convenient, the room was large and the personnel were friendly, helpful and professional.
The room also has a room service menu, towels, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash (Molton Brown), a grooming kit with things like ear buds, nail clippers and cotton pads in, a safe to store goods, a mini bar and a hairdryer
The Hotel Borg rooms were lovely and the hotel itself was charming. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the amenities wonderful. Hotel is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik close to everything
The hotel is very clean and grand, with staff dotted around willing you help at any moment and nothing is too much trouble for them. Rooms are large with access to a Thermostat, balcony and waterfall shower
The location is the best in the city. Staff is very helpful and they make you feel welcome, highlights to Tony at the front desk, Maida at the restaurant and the Argentinian girl :)

The hotel was very centrally located and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable - a little bit old but not a big issue. They offered to store our luggages upon check out which was a good service
Its all fine it just that its noisy outside but its bearable as there is many bars outside really staffs are nice and friendly
Location is very central and near pick up point for tour. Spacious room with separate toilet and shower area.
Great location. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Rooms are clean, neat and simple. Recommend to anyone.
They didn’t provide any parking space but there were public parking spots nearby
Front desk very helpful and friendly. If your not out of your room when cleaning staff come, and ask them to come back they don't. But front staff will bring you new towels. Our room was basic and comfortable

Great hotel right in the center of Reykjavik and within walking distance of just about the whole city. The rooms were nice, clean, comfortable and well looked after. The staff were all pleasant and the breakfast was good
This is a basic hotel geared towards younger travelers. It’s located in the heart of Reykjavik so it can be a little loud in the evening due to restaurants/bars around
Walking distance to everything (about 3 min walk to bus tour pick up spot). Breakfast was included which is a huge plus if you’re traveling on a budget. The best part, however, the hotel staff
The best quality-price relationship! PROS: hotel is near the city center (and everything), bus stop #6 (which is very important for tours and airport) is 2 blocks, there are a lot of bars and stores near the hotel, breakfast was included, staff is very kind! CONS: breakfast buffet was the same every day, during my stay there weren’t hair conditioner available
Hands down the nicest, accommodating, helpful staff I’ve seen in a looong time. They would be the main reason I would stay here again
Great friendly staff! Hotel is a block from row of shops & restaurants. Room is rather small but I guess typical of European hotels.

Stayed here for our holiday before Christmas, we got the hotel for a cracking price, it was right on the main street readily accessible for everything. Staff were friendly and polite
Room was a good size and clean, it was basic but had a small kitchenette, fridge and comfy bed, everything you need for a base for exploring, would visit again

There is a handsome guy at the front desk who can understand Chinese, which made our check-in smooth and smooth. He helped us book a bus to the airport and packed breakfast for the next day, which was thoughtful
Only downside was we felt very uncomfortable around the breakfast staff, seemed very strict, not friendly and had to abide by their rules (arrived at 06:55am as we had an early flight but not allowed to touch the breakfast table as it started at 07:00am) Not much variety from breakfast either
Excellent hotel stay overall from a UK and HK travellers. Clean room, nice shower and bathroom, housekeeping was very tidy. Very good location close to the city centre and BSI bus terminal was 25 mins walk away
The breakfast is of good quality, replenished in time, and the ingredients are very fresh. The washbasin is very small, and the bed and quilt are clean and relatively small
In front of the hotel is Bus Station No. 12, which is the departure and gathering point for tour groups. There is also an airport bus stop, which is very convenient
The attitude is gentle and professional, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude here. The room is clean and simple, without any extra things

The staff at Apotek were friendly, professional and helpful answering questions. The room had a wonderful view over Parlament Square
The hotel enjoys a prime location, conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions
