Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble

Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe

I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik

But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food

I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff

The hotel is very close to the city center, especially since we rented a car, and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby

The restaurant downstairs serves delicious dinner, and the breakfast is surprisingly rich, even offering instant noodles!

Great location. The staff were rally friendly and welcoming. My room was perfect and very warm and cosy. There is a spa but I didn't use it. The food is the restaurant is excellent and I recommend a visit there.

We stayed at Midgardur by Center Hotels during a Lesbifriends Travel group trip to Iceland and found it to be a solid, comfortable base in Reykjavik

The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses. The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!

Hotel  location is perfect, just at the central of the city! 

I stayed at Saga Hotel for two nights. The hotel is situated adjacent to Tjornin (a beautiful pond with lots of swans and ducks). The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly

The room was great, and the front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was superb! The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, so getting out for breakfast can be a trek

Great options for buffet breakfast (included). Rooms are small but there are plenty of open communal spaces throughout the hotel. You can borrow a portable record player and records for your room if you like

Comfortable hotel a short walk from the city center. The room we had was big, with a lovely bed, a bathroom that was clean and spacious enough and all facilities you might need

The breakfast buffet was good, as long as you stay away from the waffle irons and the espresso machine if you have only a short amount of time (they have very tasty filter coffee at the other end of the buffet, no queues there)

Its location is however a fair walk out of town (and beyond the bus station). We coped because we’re happy to walk, but there’s a lot of construction going on in the area, which made part of the walk a difficult one

Stayed one night here with my wife. The rooms are comfy, staff are friendly. We also ate at the breakfast buffet which was good. The spa is amazing and worth the money. We wouldn't mind staying here again

For those who are planning organised day trips: due to it's location this hotel is the first pick-up point for most travel companies. This means you'll always sit with your travel companion!

This hotel was very close to the cruise port and the staff their directed us to a walkable distance to a free shuttle bus to the cruise port, We explored the area , which was downtown, on foot and enjoyed it very much

Overpriced for the quality of the room Good location but room with slanted ceiling and only skylights without windows. Felt like we were in an attic. Not happy with the room for the price we paid.

Stayed here for 5 days total (2 different segments of our trip) and had a wonderful experience. Front desk crew was great in helping arrange transportation to tours and helping find restaurants in the area

Excellent property, beautifully appointed. Was just a short walk to our cruise port and to the Harpa concert hall. Staff were very friendly and helpful

You can see the sea from the double room window! It's very convenient to walk to anywhere! The room design is Balinese style, the toiletries are very useful, the fish salad fried chicken for dinner is delicious, it's the first time to have sweet and sour fish, and I'm super satisfied when I return to the hotel hungry after a day trip! Free coffee is provided all day, the service attitude of the staff...

It was a great stay and we would definitely go back to this hotel again if we are ever back in Iceland! Our only difficulty, understanding this is mostly outside of the hotel's control, is that some of the sidewalks on the walk to downtown were extremely icy and slippery after a day or so of wintry mix that froze over

Had a perfect one-night stay at *Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel* in Reykjavik! 🏨 Everything was clean, comfortable, and beautifully done. The vibe, service, and location were all spot on. Highly recommend! 🌟

We were not disappointed by the Eyja Guldsmeden. The location was only a few blocks away from downtown where there were tons of shopping and dining options, and the hotel itself was beautiful

This hotel has a Thai style. I stayed for 4 nights. It is clean and has no odor. It is cleaned every day. I am very satisfied. Free coffee and tea are available all day long. It is good.

We started our travel to Iceland by driving around Iceland in a campervan, so we were hoping for a relaxing hotel stay in Reykjavik at the end of the trip when we pre-booked

Staff were friendly and location is just right in the middle of the city centre

i paid for the breakfast - got a bag of food including a drink, a bread, an apple, a small box of granola and jam, and a yogurt and a free access to coffee machine - nothing fancy but good enough to feel full and energised

i was pleased to be able to choose the room type (upper beds or lower beds). i particularly enjoyed using the kitchen and the common area as the design was so nice and well-equipped. i was able to make my own meal there

Of course, Bus Stop 6 is also very close, just a 2-3 minute walk away. Service: The hotel lobby offers self-service with complimentary tea bags and coffee

The harbour, waterfront, shopping streets and main attractions were all at most 20 mins walk away in different directions (except Perlan which was 30-40 mins). I didn't have to use any transport apart from going on tours

My room was on the third floor and located off a central quiet courtyard that didn't face onto the main road

There was also a free shuttle bus there to Grandi area. There were numerous restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and bars in close proximity. You didn't really need to go very far after a long day out

The service at the hotel was excellent. Friendly and professional staff. Always someone available with a smile. The cleaning staff were extremely polite. My room was super comfortable

Yes, there were a few noisy guests who didn't know how to open and close doors quietly but I think that's expected in hotels as long as they are at appropriate hours, which they were

After the incident, the hotel's solution was to arrange a room change. The problem is, what had to happen already happened. The room change felt more like going through the motions than actually solving the issue

I later found out that previous guests had reported similar issues, indicating that the hotel has a long-standing problem with hygiene and pest control, rather than a one-off accident

* Hygiene management is questionable (and seemingly a long-term issue). * The response was delayed and inadequate. * The guest had to bear the additional costs themselves

Due to hygiene concerns, I personally disposed of some of my clothes and shoes, essentially paying extra for this stay. To summarize: * The room has a pest problem

This wasn't just me being sensitive; these were clearly visible bites that required photographic evidence (which I did take, of both the spots and the bugs)

What's even more outrageous is that this wasn't an isolated incident

The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available

Great stay good location very central to get to places in the city.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the city's popular attractions, restaurants, cafes, etc. The room is relatively small, but comfortable. The bathroom is relatively small, especially the wash basin

the shower had a great water pressure, the shower booth was very roomy and it had a swing door that helped from the water going everywhere. the bathroom itself was big and very clean

As well, Robert made our dining experience personal and provided most wonderful local recommendations for our travels. The staff make this hotel what it is, and it has truly been my best experience at a hotel in years

The female front desk staff's attitude towards Asians was a bit indifferent, while the male staff was very enthusiastic; the difference in attitude was quite noticeable. There was free water in the room

When our airport driver was running late, they promptly assisted us in getting in touch with him and even offered to arrange an alternative driver to ensure we wouldn’t miss our flight

We had a great stay at Hotel Von, the property is super central so it was easy to pop in and out as we needed. The facilities were very good and the staff were friendly

This place is great! You can take the airport shuttle directly to the hotel, and tour groups pick up right from here too. It's close to the beach, and you only have to walk about 500 meters to see the Northern Lights!!!

Extremely affordable hotel in reykjavik with a convenient carpark. Unfortunately the room wasn't very big and had no kettle. There is a very convenient kronan walking distance from the hotel.

For this price, I really can't complain, it was great! Excellent value for money. I happened to be there on September 22nd, which was a free bus day in Reichenau

The location is also fantastic, right by the sea, just 100 meters away. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to popular areas like the church and Rainbow Street

Chose Cabin for our last night in Iceland, primarily because of the shuttle bus to the airport, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival

Triple room right at the end of the corridor of the top floor. Very quiet and spacious room. Clean facilities. Excellent location, within walking distance to town and the church. Free on street parking near hotel.

​Otherwise, the hotel is within walking distance of the city center and street parking is free (plus plenty of spaces)

Their breakfast starts from 7am, and they only packed 4 sets of packed breakfast daily if you didn’t inform them before 12pm, there is nothing their staff can do for you

They help you with anything from postcards you need sent out to questions about the city and the best places to eat. There was no need to rent a car to see the city

If I could give more than five stars, I would I have stayed at other hotels in Iceland and I cannot say enough about how kind the staff is

I stayed two nights and accommodations, were both affordable and immaculate. The staff were absolutely amazing

9 minute walk from central Reykjavik clean, functional, perfect for the price we paid very helpful, even made us breakfast sandwiches as we were leaving before breakfast time

Great value for money. The room had everything you needed. The only downside was a slightly poorly hung curtain on the mezzanine, which let in light at night. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast each morning was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the hotel’s happy hour at the bar — ring the bell for service. There’s also a cozy spa and a small gym available for guests (exercise bikes and dumbbells)

If you’re joining guided tours, Bus Stop #6 is only a three-minute walk away, which made everything incredibly convenient. The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always happy to help
