Warm friendly welcome and clean. Comfortable beds and rooms with lovely views. Great choice at breakfast. Reception were a fantastic help I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
We used it as our honeymoon accommodation! We spent a total of 5 nights at Fosshotel Reykjavik
This hotel was good value. It was near the city centre and easy to get to. Friendly staff and great breakfast. I would recommend waiting until 7 to come down for breakfast to avoid the large tour groups.
20 min by walking from the famous city center bar streets. The service at the reception is good (it seems that the tourist industry is fully in Polish hands, this feels a little awkward)
We extended our stay at the hotel! The breakfast was varied and bus stop 12 was right in front, so it was convenient to freely go on tours!! And the information staff were very friendly
Amazing location, delicious food and drink throughout, and one of the nicest looking building on the Reykjavik landscape - beautiful and yet very practical to help keep your bearings of this amazing city!

Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips (for organised bus trips, which all use the same bus stop numbering, the nearest bus stop is number 5, about 5 minutes’ walk away), the breakfast was splendid and the room was unbelievably cosy, which was particularly welcome after a winter’s day adventuring amongst the ice and snow and especially the epic and...
This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made extraordinarily special by the outstanding and attentive staff who really impressed with their thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence throughout
Great place! Lovely hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. Breathtaking views with fabolous and helpful staff. Can't imagine better place to spend time in when visiting Iceland. There is just No competition!
A once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service. We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon
Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was
Nice hotel, very close to the city center and right by the sea. The room design is great, although everything in the mini-bar is chargeable. On the bright side, you can get cold water directly from the bathroom tap

We loved staying at the Hilton Nordica! The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast there was the best we had in the entire country
Super nice staff and multiple choice for breakfast. I will come back again next time
Great facility, free parking, good size room, clean, less than 10 mins drive to the city center.
Beautiful hotel central location close to lots staff was great and hotel was clean!!
The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was only used as a stopover so it didn't matter too much, and for travelling around Reykjavik we recommend booking another Hilton Curio Select hotel
Though the hotel belongs to a high class hotel group but the room quite basic. Not much eateries or shops are around the area. Hence we took bus to those places

Lastly, I stayed there for 5 nights and quite a few hotels would offer an upgrade or special promotion like a free use of spa etc. Anyway, I didn't expect too much and made me feel better
Nice and clean hotel. Room is quite spacious compared with other hotel. Location is also convenient with a few minutes drive to city Center. Although it is near airport but it is very quite. There is no noise at all.
No self service laundry in the hotel as it is very common nowadays. The price list of serviced laundry seems too expensive as they still charge based on your pieces
Great breakfast included with each night so I recommend you book with that. We also booked to have the spa and that is also a great idea
Everything is good except two things: 1. The shower area is too dark and small (only 2
Luckily my husband and I are small guys! Their photo on the website is a bit tricky! as I usually check the outlook of washroom before I book a hotel. I was so disappointed and frustrated at that time honestly

But don't expect your traditional continental breakfast as that is not is what is served here. Great place to stay overall and really close to the swimming pool and hot springs
Room was small as expected. They do not provide hair dryer and kettle inside the room. Have to ask staff at reception for help.
Everything was clean, and the crewsuper friendly and kind🫶🏻 Excellent location
The room opens up to the hallway, so zero privacy, and lots of people peeing into our room while we were trying to just cool the place down. There is literally not enough space on the floor to open your luggage
Very good service. Would like to visit again. Have a good and unforgettable trip. Thank you for the wonderful host.
I think the wall must have been pretty thin, I could hear lots of school aged kids running around, knocking on my window and door.

The hotel was very centrally located and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable - a little bit old but not a big issue. They offered to store our luggages upon check out which was a good service
Really nice centrally located hotel in Reykjavik. We stayed 5 nights in Nov 2021. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of options, although it can get busy - we recommend going earlier in the morning
Location is very central and near pick up point for tour. Spacious room with separate toilet and shower area.
It's a good place to stay if you travel to Reykjavik. Good location with a nice view. Beautiful lobby. Clean and comfort. Staff are helpful.
Its all fine it just that its noisy outside but its bearable as there is many bars outside really staffs are nice and friendly

Fantastic hotel 100/100 -Great location (city center + everything nearby, and also **not** noisy/loud at night; can also walk there from BSI Terminal) -Super room (Superior Room, was great, slept soo well) -Delicious Breakfast with English Breakfast, Iceland Food (Fish Skye), Pastry and Fresh Fruit
The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. It's also close to bus stations #2 and #3, which is great for catching local tour buses. The hotel is clean and comfortable, definitely recommended!
Hotel  location is perfect, just at the central of the city!
I stayed at Saga Hotel for two nights. The hotel is situated adjacent to Tjornin (a beautiful pond with lots of swans and ducks). The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly
From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my visit, every detail made my stay memorable. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat

We stayed here in early December 2021, the room was very clean, breakfast was great every morning. We ate at the restaurant several nights and all of our meals were wonderful and all the staff is very nice
Good places to eat locally and just up the rd from the COVID testing centre. Decent sized room service portions and our rooftop suite was spotless and well appointed
Great location and staff are so nice and helpful. Room is comfortable and great place to capture all the fireworks during the new year. :) 10/10 would stay again
My granddaughter and I enjoyed our overnight and the location was great for local sightseeing. Very helpful staff with respect to local eateries, etc.

The hotel is in a very good location, in the city center. There are many restaurants and gift shops nearby. It is very close to the Piglet Supermarket, just a few minutes' walk away.
The hotel in the city center is very clean, the food is delicious, and the restaurant environment is very good. It is also very convenient to join the tour group and take the bus
The hotel is very new and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly. It is very close to Rainbow Street, the Cathedral and other attractions
Best one in Reykjavik yet! Room is very cosy and staff was ver nice. Bathroom was superb and spacious. Would come again!
I missed the welcome of warm cookies in the afternoon. The front desk staff was fine- nothing to write home about

This hotel is perfectly located in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants, and conveniently located for transportation
The hotel is small but thankfully clean. The heating wasn't quite sufficient, so it wasn't very warm. The location is close to the airport shuttle, but it's a bit of a walk to the city center
After contacting the hotel, the hotel staff actually helped us deliver it to the front desk of another hotel where we were staying! Super touched!! And the facilities and room environment are really good in Iceland
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-insulated, ensuring excellent sleep. The spacious and thoughtfully designed common areas are perfect for relaxing or simply reading, and were my favorite part of my stay
It was better than my friend and I expected! The hotel environment and service attitude were very good. When we were traveling in the south, we found that the power bank had fallen in the hotel
Good location, and there is a reman shop next to the hotel. The breakfast was great as well. 5mins walk from the free parking lot as well as the whale watching harbor

**100/100 - Excellent!** This place feels as warm and inviting as home. The location is easy to find, and the room is exceptionally clean and comfortable
The hot tub is a must-try! Breakfast features traditional Icelandic dishes with a great variety that truly fuels your journey. I highly recommend this stay!
I liked everything about this place. Lobby was cute, the young man who checked us in/out was friendly and efficient, and our room was great. Very clean and well layed out with plenty of surface space to lay things out
The location is absolutely stunning, nestled at the very end of Laugavegur and close to Bus Stop 9—the meeting spot for my local tour and airport pickup

The sauna and relaxation areas are not huge, but offer a nice opportunity to unwind after a long day out in the cold weather. The staff are friendly and happy to help with eating suggestions and deals available
Right at the city centre, close to tours gather point. However, the wall is thin and noise is noticeable
Really nice hotel, clean and lovely staff, close to the Center, would definitely go back

We were supposed to stay at the Hilton, but they somehow got over booked. So they sent us to one of their "sister" hotels the Alda Hotel. It was right on the main street for all the shopping and restaurants
We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoy our visit. Michelle at the front desk provided exceptional service and we will book again for our next visit.
I stayed in Alda Hotel for four nights. The hotel is situated at the city centre of Reykjavik which is very convenient. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful
The hotel is also central located. There is also free access to gym, sauna and outdoor hotspring too
Convenience place in town centre , services are good, clean and tidy but room is small
The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary upgrades of room with free wine and chocolate which is pleasant surprise too

Outstanding hotel—friendly, helpful staff, perfect central location, clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend!
Fantastic location and adorable structure. Breakfast was good. Only heads up is there is only a taxi stand to drop off luggage, but hotel is walkable from the downtown rental car drop off. Overall - recommend.
Perfect for an overnight stay prior to our cruise. Not luxurious but great in every way. Lots of selections hot and cold for breakfast - in the middle of the action so easy to walk to everything
Hotel staff are amazing - great tips for dining options. And my VIP access included early check in at 8am and 2 free drinks in the hotel bar

The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Good location Hotel was good and in good location. No change of towels and bed every day. Breakfast could be better, no very fresh at the end of service, no eggs to choose just one and over cooked.

The staff were so incredible! I landed really early in the morning way before check-in and they held my bag for me. I completely forgot that the charging outlets were different than north american chargers
The room I was in was small but I knew that going into the trip. It made good use of the space though, and the location couldn't be beat. Would recommend a stay here for anyone looking to explore Reyjkavik!
We were really happy with our stay at this hotel. The room size and the beds comfortable. The location was quiet and was perfect for us to walk around the main areas. Location was also great for the buses
Had a great stay at the Fosshotel Baron last week. The staff there are warm and welcoming and check in is quick and efficient. The facility is clean, with seating areas and a restroom on the main floor
The reception desk had a whole box of different adapters that savedddd me. Considering it was Easter weekend and everything was closed at that time, they made my trip so much easier

You can see the sea from the double room window! It's very convenient to walk to anywhere! The room design is Balinese style, the toiletries are very useful, the fish salad fried chicken for dinner is delicious, it's the first time to have sweet and sour fish, and I'm super satisfied when I return to the hotel hungry after a day trip! Free coffee is provided all day, the service attitude of the staff...
It was a great stay and we would definitely go back to this hotel again if we are ever back in Iceland! Our only difficulty, understanding this is mostly outside of the hotel's control, is that some of the sidewalks on the walk to downtown were extremely icy and slippery after a day or so of wintry mix that froze over
We were not disappointed by the Eyja Guldsmeden. The location was only a few blocks away from downtown where there were tons of shopping and dining options, and the hotel itself was beautiful
This hotel has a Thai style. I stayed for 4 nights. It is clean and has no odor. It is cleaned every day. I am very satisfied. Free coffee and tea are available all day long. It is good.
We started our travel to Iceland by driving around Iceland in a campervan, so we were hoping for a relaxing hotel stay in Reykjavik at the end of the trip when we pre-booked

If you are in Iceland and want a place to stay, this should be your first choice. It was lovely staying here and meeting other travelers. There is a common balcony overlooking the street if you ant to chill out
Excellent location, from the bedroom window you can see the city's cathedral, which is the city's postcard. Next to a good market and great restaurants and close to several parking lots.

It's said that Clinton bought hot dogs there when he was President of the United States 🌭, and there's always a queue (interested friends can try it). I didn't try it 😁 Finally: Reykjavik is small, but Iceland is not
The reception desk is small, but the two receptionists have incredibly sweet and comforting smiles. The room is exquisite and spacious, with impeccable attention to detail
The hotel is located in the city center with convenient transportation. The front desk service is very nice. The room is very large, and the mini bar is free on the first day
It's a 5-minute walk to Harpa Opera House and a 10-minute walk to Hallgrímsv Church (an Icelandic landmark, also known as the Rocket Church or Healing Church)

Very accessible and centrally located. Near restaurants, places of interest. I will recommend.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center and very close to the cathedral
The on-site restaurant offers delicious meals and is worth a try. However, since Iceland has 20 hours of sunshine in summer and the room's light-shielding effect is slightly insufficient, it may affect sleep quality
If you stay in the summer, it is recommended to bring your own eye mask to ensure rest. Overall, it is an accommodation option that combines convenience and comfort
