We are here as tourist. The hotel is not at downtown. We took bus to travel around. The bus system is convenient. Though the hotel belongs to a high class hotel group but the room quite basic. No amenities are provided. Not much eateries or shops are around the area. Hence we took bus to those places. The hotel lobby is nice.

Very good, clean hotel typical of the Hilton brand. Room is big enough, modern and well-maintained. Very good hotel for a good restful night after the flight to Iceland. Parking is free.

room was clean, friendly staff, was very helpful as well, didn't try the food but looks fancy, we could order in as well. 

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was only used as a stopover so it didn't matter too much, and for travelling around Reykjavik we recommend booking another Hilton Curio Select hotel. Facilities in the room were fair and worthy of the Hilton name.

The beds are comfortable but 1. I had a hard time finding my room 2. I could hear that my neighbours were doing some stuff through the door in my room 3. Breakfast didn't have much variety. This is a fancy hotel but my stay could have been better

Great stay at the hotel. Booked a room including breakfast. The breakfast had lots of variety and choices and fresh produce, some of it local. The hotel staff was friendly and available for all request and questions. The rooms were good and spacious, a little bit noisy because of the door between the two hotel rooms. The rooms have good view of their snow-capped mountains. For now it takes longer though to move from the rooms to the ground floor since the hotel is presently undergoing renovation. Their Grilled restaurant on the top floor has 180 degrees view of the city. It serves good food & wine.

Breakfast not as good as the other Berjaya hotels. Same spread throughout our 4 breakfasts!!!! Good location for walking around but carpark a little further away from hotel entrance. Very close to return our rental car office. Lots of eateries around but it’s a problem getting a table. Front staff are pleasant but ineffective when issues arise.

This accommodation is quite well located, by walking for about 10mins able to reach a few places of interest in Reykjavik. The room though slightly on the small side, but still able to open 2 big luggages (walking space got abit tighter but still manageable). Bed was comfortable, however we found a stain on the bedsheet:( Overall, it was a nice stay👍🏼

The hotel is cosy and comfortable. The breakfast starts at 7am which is a little late if you've got some day tours booked as you usually need to be out early, but they allow you to take away which is very useful. The location is good too as it's close to bus stops, the harbour, and the centre of Reykjavik. The room could have done with some more space to store clothes.

Excellently located near downtown Reykjavik and the harbor. The rooms are as pictured, very clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Perhaps they could increase the breakfast selection and add one of those machines that allow you to select various types of hot drinks.

This center bar hotel is much newer. Although the room is not big, it is very comfortable to stay in. The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good.

It's a little distance from the city center. Free parking is available in a public free parking lot nearby, which is a 5-minute walk. The room size is OK, but the facilities are average.

I stayed in Alda Hotel for four nights. The hotel is situated at the city centre of Reykjavik which is very convenient. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. They even prepared a "grab and go" breakfast for me on the last day as I needed to check out early for my flight. The hotel is very cosy and the staff are very attentive to our needs. We have stayed there for honeymoon and they gave us complimentary upgrades of room with free wine and chocolate which is pleasant surprise too. The hotel is also central located. There is also free access to gym, sauna and outdoor hotspring too. Greatly recommended

We came in late after long day . The room was ok but the building is pretty old , the light in the bathroom and main bed room is not working . We try to ask the staffs to help but it’s really late ( we checked in after 11pm) staffs was not at the desk by the time we needed help with. Room was too small. Whole hotel had a very dark, closed in feel. When we originally arrived in Reykjavik we stayed in the Centre Hotel Laugavegur. Although the hotel was further away from the centre of town, the rooms were more spacious and the rate was $90 per night less. The convenience was not worth the extra money.

We used it as our honeymoon accommodation! We spent a total of 5 nights at Fosshotel Reykjavik. We extended our stay at the hotel! The breakfast was varied and bus stop 12 was right in front, so it was convenient to freely go on tours!! And the information staff were very friendly. The hotel has a diverse breakfast and the front desk service is also very good, but the room facilities are old, especially the washbasin is very small, and the shower water is very small and old.

This hotel is perfectly located in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions and restaurants, and conveniently located for transportation. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-insulated, ensuring excellent sleep. The environment is very good. As the last night of the trip to Iceland, maybe because the whole journey was very happy, the last night was very comfortable.

Good location, and there is a reman shop next to the hotel. The breakfast was great as well. 5mins walk from the free parking lot as well as the whale watching harbor. Of course it is not far away from the corner shops and bars. All the restaurants are 10mins walk away. Highly recommend!

For those who consider living in this hotel please do check your bank statement. I found they charged me a transaction a week after my check out. I did send an email to ask why but there is no reply. Be careful.

It was all overall good. Friendly front office, clean and spacious room, toilet and shower room was small but it was sufficient for my use. Bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance away , US embassy as well (no use , simply mentioned though). Football stadium and sports exhibition hall is 7 minutes away.

However, limited parking space and you have to find an empty space according to their map as public free parking on different streets. The hotel is in a good location, close to the church and Rainbow Street. Although the room is not big, the layout is OK, the mattress is very comfortable, and the breakfast is OK. It's just that the room price was still a bit high when we went there, which felt a bit expensive.

I stayed at the hotel on the first night after arriving in Iceland. Although it was around 1 a.m., the front desk staff still provided warm reception service. The family room was a bit small but not bad, and the breakfast was very rich. The price was a bit expensive, but fortunately the geographical environment was good.

Excellent location, friendly reception, great breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Go for the breakfast, they are great. You don’t find breakfast outside early in the morning. Even if you do, those from the hotel are of good value.

We stayed 3 nights. The location is the best in the city. Breakfast is wonderful. Staff is very helpful and they make you feel welcome, highlights to Tony at the front desk, Maida at the restaurant and the Argentinian girl :). All 3 went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Rooms are great. Definitely recommend.

The location is very convenient and right in the heart of the city. The staff were all very friendly, especially Camilla at the reception. Her thoughtful assistance in arranging our breakfast ahead of our early flight on the day of checkout was exceptional and truly heartwarming. Thanks again!

The hotel is very popular. I could only book a standard room for a king-size bed room before. But when I was about to check in, I saw a superior room and grabbed it immediately. The size of the superior king-size bed room was OK, but the superior twin room should not be 24 square meters and seemed very small. So my friend upgraded the double standard to a suite.

A great property at a fantastic location, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint, which is bias is that I felt the pictures were a little misleading with the size of the room.

I love the fact that my room was so quiet. Everything about my stay was perfect. The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center and very close to the cathedral. The room has a large bathroom, but the bed is a bit small (almost all hotels in Iceland are like this), and the breakfast is very good with fresh ingredients.
