Hotel Vesuvio was wonderful!! We had a beautiful room with a balcony and doors opening to a clear view of the ocean. We also had another balcony on the side!
Breakfast was really nice, with good food and great choices.
The hotel is convenient to everything. We walked there from the train station with our luggage without a problem and to all the things we wanted to see and do, including shopping.
Best of all were the people. The gentleman working the reception desk was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to be welcoming, offering suggestions and directions on restaurants, things to do (including the ferry to Portfino and the tram up the mountain!) and helping us with our car rental. Would love to stay here again!

Excellent place to stay
Very clean, updated and well renovated place. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the balcony was very nice. Breakfast was super high quality. Would definitely stay again

The staff speaks English; they were kind and helpful. The breakfast selection was the best we had on a three week trip. Location is excellent although on a very busy street so the noise level is not peaceful. Closing the doors helps because the glass is soundproofed. The hotel is beautifully renovated although our room with balcony was tiny!

Really nothing to say, great welcome, lots of advice for visiting the region, very family-friendly, super well located, the view is magnificent, the room was great, the breakfast perfect, after a good road trip in Italy, it is by far the best hotel where we stopped, I recommend 200%

Wonderful hotel!
Clean, nice rooms, amazing view from the balcony to the sea! Everything matches the photos. Wonderful hospitable staff who are ready to answer any question.
Breakfast was also very good and varied (you can have breakfast right on the terrace overlooking the sea)

The perfect location to base yourself rather than Portofino - the walk to Santa Margarita and Portofino is amazing and a must do. So much more to eat/drink and the other towns
Hotel staff were great, the hotel rooms had everything you needed - good value for money

Property is on the waterfront with excellent views from the front rooms. Property manager is the perfect host and all staff were helpful and courteous. We visited at the beginning of the season and were greatly impressed with the hotel and surrounds. The breakfasts were excellent and coffee and drinks were available in the bar.
