Villa Garden in Gasponi

Fantastic property in a fabulous & peaceful location. We spent 12 nights at this wonderful property. We were given a 2 bedroom apartment on arrival with patio and table with chairs outside. This property was spotless, everything looked new. Plenty of storage, a kitchen with table & chairs full oven large fridge. What can i report? This mostly family run property is a piece of heaven. We literally felt the stress leave us. The views across Tropea from the property are truly breathtaking. The property is located up a mountain so a car is needed. The staff, Dario was in charge, he runs the property along with his lovely wife. Nothing is too much trouble for Dario, he really does ensure you are enjoying your stay. We opted for half board, food was fantastic, lots of fish, just what we like. Antonio served us each evening and he was such a lovely gentleman. Always asking was everything to our liking. He made sure we were happy with food & drinks, he too went out of his way too to ensure we were happy and we wanted for nothing. Christine was in charge at breakfast. Another beautiful being, always ensuring you had everything you wanted. We managed to communicate well, she was warm, welcoming and always smiling. Breakfast had plenty of choice and of course such gorgeous coffee. Dario gave us a list of beaches to visit and things to do, boat trips sightseeing. We loved Santa Domenica beach (Baia Di Riaci), Zanbrone, Leroccette beach too. Tropea town was beautiful, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, but it felt like seeing heaven all over again when we returned to Garden Villa. The peace, quiet & stunning views. We spent days at the hotel pool, often just the 2 of us there..i cannot recommend highly enough. We would return in an heartbeat..fantastic holiday. Villa Garden is a very nice property located in the silence of the Tropea hills. The center is no more than 10 minutes away by car. The location is spectacular! The rooms are basic, comfortable and very clean. The outdoor spaces are well-kept and finished. The strong point is the restaurant. The food is fresh and prepared to perfection! The friendly and efficient dining room staff. The owners are very kind and always ready to satisfy every request. What can I say, we ended up there by chance but we will definitely return. Highly recommended for families too.

Just above Tropea (2.4km), Villa Garden, a regular destination for years, has an olive garden with a swimming pool and a breathtaking view that we are in love with. The atmosphere is truly magical. At the end of the day, in the cool of the hill, we enjoy the typical and refined menu of the attached restaurant where I would recommend practically everything! For example, sea bass with almonds, tuna with red onion from Tropea, scialatielli with red shrimp and bottarga, etc. The independent accommodations are comfortable little houses with a perfect quality-price balance. The kindness of the staff is invaluable. Highly recommended!

Here we leave a piece of our heart 🥹❤️ We did the two central weeks in August and I can tell you that it is really difficult to find such a beautiful place, with staff always smiling, super kind and always ready to help you for any eventuality. The place is very well kept, the houses are spacious and very comfortable and above all everything very clean. The restaurant is also super! Really delicious and with a breathtaking view We will definitely be back Thank you for everything!❤️❤️

It was my first visit to Calabria and we chose this hotel as our summer holiday and were happy with the choice. The hotel is located between the mountains, beautiful green, clean area and fresh air. our room was new and cozy, has its own kitchen and a small veranda. A good place for those who have a car, as it is far to go to the beach on their own. There is a free parking in the hotel . Our dinners at the restaurant were varied and very tasty. restaurant service at the highest level. Hotel staff is friendly, welcoming, smiling . It’s nice that people love their job. I had a wonderful experience at Villa Garden. I came to visit this place while on a tour, having a few English friends with me. I have never seen such a friendly staff. We spent a few days there, and the quietness of the place refreshed my mind so very much. I recommend Villa Garden if you're looking for a relaxing holiday, where you want to chill out, be well fed, and occasionally dive in the magnificent sea or even in the nice little pool at your disposal.
