Disappointing experience – the room was uncomfortable with a musty smell until we requested a deep clean and refresh. The bed setup, from the mattress to the pillows and cover, was unsatisfactory. The toilet was also too small. The location was perfect.

The hotel is very upscale, the rooms are spacious, and there is a large garden leading to the back door directly to the lagoon. Breakfast and dinner can be served outdoors or indoors. However, there are mosquitoes outdoors due to the dense greenery. It takes 20-30 minutes to walk to Piazza San Marco, but passing the main street, there are shops on both sides, so it is not monotonous.

The environment is very good, but it is just that you need to go up and down 4 stairs to get to the train station. The hotel booked a taxi boat to the station for 80 Euros per boat. If you are not physically fit/have a limited budget, it is recommended to choose a hotel closer.

We loved our stay at La Roqqa! It was such a treat. Every staff member we spoke to was extremely accommodating and friendly. This hotel is the real deal. Everything you could ever want in a resort - beautiful rooms, spa, delicious breakfast, and the most incredible staff. I requested portable heater, but the one they gave me was broken. So I requested replacement, but never replaced despite several talks. Also throughout the hotel facilities, there were many broken stuff such as doorknobs. But this is decent place if you want to visit Pisa.

Top location. Old and facinated building with a lot of history and appeal.  Being a classic old Italian palace..do not expect moder facilities neither great service. The structure has objective limits...BUT we overall enjoyed the experience.   We asked for upgrade and we got a junior suite. The room was spacious and well exposed on the two faces of the building. 

The hotel's location is excellent – ​​right in the center of Brescia, practically on Piazza Vittria. The staff is very polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't reach 5-star standards in terms of room amenities, breakfast variety, and minibar selection, but the price is also reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend it.

I had a junior suite that was quite underwhelming. Only two windows were roof windows and was pretty dark. Room was overheated for sleep (24 degrees) but could not change anything on temperarture. Also nothing changed after I told reception. Hotel itself is a lovely palace, breakfast was okay but also not outstanding.

The overall state of the property was great! the rooms amazing, the bathrooms with large showers and counters amazing. The breakfast was exceptional " in house baked bread" full cheese and prosciutto selection mimosas and pastries were fantastic and fresh.

My stay at this Parma hotel was nice, with a uniquely beautiful room featuring a striking staircase descending to a spacious bathroom. The location is not bad, just a 15-minute walk to the city center. However, the shampoo and conditioner were insufficient for our two-night stay. The staffs are friendly but weren’t always at reception. The breakfast was just okay for a five-star hotel.

The room was hot and very stuffy. I thought the A/C was broken, but was informed by the staff that A/c wasn’t allowed after Sept. 15??!! The hotel was nice, grand. The breakfast was very good and the food staff very friendly. The front desk staff were not outgoing like the rest of the staff. I guess I am in the minority here, but I was not terribly impressed by this hotel. The setting is spectacular, but lots of room for improvement in other areas. The property needs a refresh. Disappointing meal in the Michelin starred restaurant. Food for the most part was very good.
