Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Rome Monti in Rome

We organized a welcome aperitif for our guests (50 people) at an international wedding on the beautiful terrace "THE MUM", and it was very suggestive and well managed by the manager, Ms. Maìte, who followed us in all phases with kindness and professionalism. Only suggestion: better lighting of the buffet area, much better the beverage area. Excellent drinks

MOST OF ALL ' When I write a review, I do not describe everything that the hotel has already published, I want to convey the feelings that I experienced. First of all, the location: it is located in a quiet Piazzetta, with little traffic for a big city, and in the immediate vicinity you will not miss anything, neither for transport, nor for restaurants, nor for shopping. In addition, we have an excellent restaurant, in moments like the one we are experiencing, I recommend having lunch or dinner on site; the MIT Bistro is magnificent, and the rooftop restaurant with a view of the magnificent domes of the nearby basilica is SUPER! We tried, evening after evening, all the signature dishes prepared by a fantastic CHEF. The lounge is also especially important in case you need to spend time here working on your computer, because it is well spaced between the different areas, so there is no inconvenience even with a lot of people. Everything is perfectly clean, Covid regulations are respected, with good lighting. The reception staff makes the difference: everyone is always ready to give you advice or provide you with the information you need, always with a smile. A round of applause for Mr. Giovanni, believe me, even in speed he can explain everything very well! As for the catering, in addition to thanks to Mrs. MITE for the special needs, she helped me choose the right dishes, a sincere thanks to the fantastic Alessandra and Sara, who did their best to help you at some points. However, a huge THANK YOU to all the staff, really, because we felt taken care of, which is not always the case, especially in huge international hotels, where often you are just a number, you are part of a crowd that comes and goes. We did not meet the director, but THANK YOU to him too, because if everything is perfect, it is definitely a THANK YOU! We can't wait to come back! RECOMMENDED FOR ALL TYPES OF CLIENTS

First time at this new Hilton. I was impressed by the hospitality of the staff. The hotel is well thought out and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Dinner was great! I will definitely be back!

My family and I went to Rome for a short sightseeing tour, we stayed in a couple of rooms at the doubletree rome monti. We walked to the hotel because it was very close to the Termini station. The hotel is located in a very quiet square and very close to the center, which can also be reached on foot. The room is very nice and spacious. The breakfast was rich and the dinner was special on the beautiful terrace where you can admire the domes of Santa Maria la Maggiore. All the staff are very kind and friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant and breakfast room😊

Spent three nights here before a Mediterranean cruise. This is an excellent hotel with clean, quiet rooms and an attentive staff. Some of the travel experts advised against staying in Monti. That’s simply not accurate. This hotel is an easy walk to many attractions such as the Colosseum and, perhaps more importantly, is only a few blocks from Roma Termini train station. Numerous restaurants and cafes are in the neighborhood, and it is a safe area.

Stayed here for 4 nights in November. Location is excellent, just a 10 min stroll down from the main train station.
All the staff are friendly, breakfast offered a good choice and the rooftop bar although expectedly pricey is a nice spot for an evening cocktail.
Would happily stay here again when back in Rome.

This hotel is in such a great spot and not too touristy. A wonderful gelato shop is directly across the way too! Our king deluxe room was wonderful. We had issues with the thermostat, but the front desk took care of it very promptly. The staff here is wonderful and friendly.
4 stars due to the food. I would not recommend breakfast or dinner here. The hotel breakfast is free for Diamond members, but I believe 30Euro for others. I would not pay this. Instead, go somewhere local! The breakfast food was terrible.

The reception staff are amazing, especially Andrea and Lisa. I loved the hotel. Very contemporary with an elevator. The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to everything. Loved the rooftop bar. The dining room options are great.

So happy I settled on this hotel out of all the options out there for Rome. It has been a perfect respite from the long days of touring and wandering. Room is immaculate - ornamental fixtures and attention to detail standout, but the comfy bed and pillows and huge rain shower head are knockouts. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, staff are friendly and helpful, and location is perfect. Would absolutely stay here again.
