This hotel elevated my first experience of Rome, the staff were extremely nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, mine was an upgraded suite with a view of the garden.

The room was clean and tidy, the service was very welcoming, and a butler even helped with our luggage, making it very convenient to get around. Rome isn't actually that big; most of the attractions can be reached by the city walk.

Located very close to Plaza de España, the SLH Hotel is a top choice among European hotels. Although the room size was just right and sufficient, I was still satisfied in every way, especially after sleeping on soft beds all the way, the 19-inch bed was so comfortable.

PROS: excellent location, large room, blackout shutters, quiet
CONS: not a lot of amenities, no gym or spa

The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is really quiet despite being only 5-10 minutes from the Spanish Steps and Piazza Popolo. Very handy for the metro as well as restaurants. Room was spacious and well appointed. All in all a superb stay.

Truly a luxury hotel. The view from the balcony is well treed and quiet while being a short walk from the Spanish Steps. I enjoyed the complementary bottle of red wine from the balcony over my four day stay. The restaurant offers a varied assortment for breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful- I requested a breakfast box for an early train trip to Naples. It was waiting at the front desk before the restaurant opened. I pleasantly surprised with the contents.
I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
