Hotel Infinito in Rome

I recently stayed at a hotel where the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They truly went out of their way to make my experience enjoyable, which I greatly appreciated. However, I was quite disappointed with my room. It was just minuscule, and unfortunately, the bathroom was equally cramped.

The shower was so small that I found it difficult to fit comfortably, making what should have been a relaxing experience rather frustrating. While I understand that space can be limited in some hotels, I was hoping for a bit more comfort during my stay.

If you’re considering this hotel, I recommend it for the warm and helpful staff, but be prepared for some challenges with room size.

Overall for the price, the hotel is decent. Stayed here for one night transit on May 31, 2013. Arrived at hotel around 15:00. The hotel description had stated there is commercial bus shuttle to and from airport at Terminal # parking 17 so I spent close to one hour locating it. I found out there is no such thing so after about an hour, I took a taxi to hotel, cost was 15 euros. Depending on which taxi you take the cost seems 15-20 euros. On my departure day the following day (june 1), i was told by hotel receptionist the cost would be 18 euros. About hotel: my room was 68 euros (incl tax). Small room and ok for one person. TV was not working. The wi-fi (free) signal was spotty and often weak. On the morning of june 1, i had taxi reservation to airport at 0830 but I wanted to leave early but reception is not open until past 1100. There is no other staff at hotel. I did not have cellphone so could not call an taxi for earlier time. There is small dining area (continental breakast is free) and had some rolls and make your own coffee. Around 0700 a spanish lady who works at this dining came but pretended she did not want to help me make call for the taxi I asked her whether she can call the taxi but she pretenteded she didn't understand. Within walking distance there are many restaurants. The pizza at he small pizzeria along the same street (Via delle Scuole) was very good. The staff there were very friendly.
