Excellent experience at the hotel! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend it for people looking for a budget accommodation with easy access to public transport, various restaurants and attractions.

Literally not even a 5 minute walk from the main train station and restaurants and convenience shops all within 30 seconds of the hotel. The room was clean and has everything you need for the short time you need to spend in there given that the hotel is in the middle of Rome with everything within walking distance to it. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions and recommendations. Would highly recommend.

The atmosphere and comfort of this hotel is really in the hearts and gentleness of the father and son team that made my stay so satisfying. So if your visiting Rome and want the truth about going some place and receive honesty or need help in anything from where to purchase something or services travelers need from time to time then this hotel will make you feel like family and leave you with an impression that not only are there good people in this world but very good people in this world. It's close to the central train station and from there is you want to see Italy those there will point you in the right direction and not expect anything from you but the fairness and honesty that they have shown you. There are elegant hotels in Rome but the Charter Hotel has love and class that few more expensive hotels just can not match.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The cost is very fair given how close to the centre of Rome it is. 5 minute walk from the main train station.
The staff and owners are very friendly and can help you book experiences and tickets around Rome. They were very accommodating of our little girl.
The rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is a bit cramped but it’s big enough. The lift is fairly small also but can fit two adults and a pram.
Overall loved staying here and will be back in the future!

Amazing two star hotel, with a great location.We had a very pleasant time as a family with a baby.Our room was clean and tidy every day. Roberto,the receptionist was very kind and helpful. Definitely will come back……………………………………………………….

Everything about this hotel except the location was truly horrible. It is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The rooms are dirty and cramped. The sheet covers had stains on them. The bathroom was super small and cramped, there was no space between the toilet, shower and faucet. There were trash bags in the hallway and the paint was falling off the hallway walls. The most ridiculous thing was the elevator, which does not have inner walls, so you are scraping against the walls of the building as you go up. You also have to press the elevator button constantly until you reach your floor, or else it won't move. I have stayed in motels that are much nicer than this. The most unbelievable part was the price, over $110 euros, when much better options can be found for that price. I have no idea how they have good reviews on booking and google. The pictures on the internet make it seem like a decent hotel but it is terrible.

Very dirty and very expensive for what it is. The bathroom is covered in mold on the ceiling and walls. You can feel the dampness when you enter the bedroom. The rooms are very dark. You can hear arguments and noise from the street all night. Not recommended for couples.

We loved our stay here! The best hotel in the neighborhood,the owners are very frendly and helpfull!The rooms are clean and beautiful. Everyday they will wait for you with a smile and they will give you a recomendation fro were to go and what to eat!

The hotel lobby leading straight into an elevator and the crooked halls on the first floor gives a quirky first impression, but the rooms are clean and very functional for our family of three and the guys at the reception are welcoming and provide great service including excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area.
