Hotel Charter in Rome

Everything about this hotel except the location was truly horrible. It is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The rooms are dirty and cramped. The sheet covers had stains on them. The bathroom was super small and cramped, there was no space between the toilet, shower and faucet. There were trash bags in the hallway and the paint was falling off the hallway walls. The most ridiculous thing was the elevator, which does not have inner walls, so you are scraping against the walls of the building as you go up. You also have to press the elevator button constantly until you reach your floor, or else it won't move. I have stayed in motels that are much nicer than this. The most unbelievable part was the price, over $110 euros, when much better options can be found for that price. I have no idea how they have good reviews on booking and google. The pictures on the internet make it seem like a decent hotel but it is terrible.
