We spent 24h at Torino Wellness, and we really liked the clean areas, nice room, great breakfast with a spectacular sea view. The bar staff also made my wife the best frozen strawberry daiquiri she had tasted!

Brought a group to this hotel for 5 days. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, friendly welcoming staff who can not do enough for you! Pool area and jacuzzi is fantastic

My friend and I were on a coach holiday recently and stayed at the Hotel Torino for 5 nights - fantastic! Very pleased with our room with balony and a lovely rooftop area for breakfast with plenty of choice! That was also the case in the lovely restaurant and may I say, Roberto (the Maitre D'?) and the restaurant staff are to be complimented too! Plenty of shops, cafes and eateries

We had an awesome experience! The staff of the hotel is friendly, polite & knowledgeable. The location has everything you could possible want, inclusive of shopping, swimming, biking,and especially eating

Great hotel overlooking a beautiful village. Short walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff efficient and super friendly. Close to 5terra by boat.

The staff team were amazing; from Marta and Francesco who helped us with booking and arrangements, Alessio who helped us with our menu and throughout our dining experiences (arranging a tiramisu wedding cake!), Simone who helped us pre-arrival, and all the other wonderful people in the restaurant, bar staff, housekeeping, room service, bellhops and reception

We were treated like family, welcomed with Prosecco and a letter of congratulations on arrival, and the day after our wedding when my husband called down for room service he was greeted with, “good morning Nate, how is your wife?”! There were so many of these sweet interactions during our stay that made it truly special

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredible in the hotel was beautiful.

This was perfect for our newborn to introduce water in a calm setting as well there being patches of the pool in the shade to prevent him from getting too much sun

Negatives: - Dirty Pool: Unfortunately we ran into the issue with the pool being dirty with dead insects and leaves

Stayed for a week while visiting family. Everyone on staff—reception, restaurant, lifeguard—was so charming and kind. The room was a bit cozy but had a lovely view (even saw fireworks from the balcony one night)

If not, bikes can be obtained through the hotel. - Private Pool: We had used this during our stay due to the unpredictable sea

The hotel’s beach was right across the street and just a few minutes away from the restaurants and shops

Below I'll list the positives and negatives of our stay: Positives: - Employees: I can't stress enough how my family and I absolutely loved Elena and Erika from helping us warm our newborns food to a normal conversation

The sea was two times, the rest of the time was swimming in the large pool

Beautiful views from the hill top position and we were grateful for the funicular lift to sea level. Our first room was poor and needed updating. We immediately asked to be moved which could not happen until the next day

I was disappointed that we couldn't get the seats in the 1st line even so many were empty: they were reserved by abonements, but we're not used most of the time - Restaurant prices, especially drinks, are higher than other restaurants nearby on the shore

The new room was excellent and worth the money

The roof top pool and bar are fab and enjoy far reaching glorious views. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. Would definitely come back for a longer stay

For being owned by the same company as the Grand Hotel Arenzano, this property really falls short in terms of upkeep and staff friendliness

They compete with french chefs and are unbeatable!!! It's a true 4 stars hotel! Pets are welcome too with limited access to the beach. On the 1st day we turned up at 10 Am, our room was ready and we were let in

I give the hotel the best recommendations. The staff is helpful, polite and very helpful. You almost feel at home and the staff is always attentive to you

The room was clean, all shared areas clean. Close to the beach- like you can see it! This hotel should not advertise as having a pool! It is nothing more than a paddling pool; doesn’t come above the knee

12 sun-beds and these are reserved by larger family’s so you can forget it. If I would have knew they didn’t actually have a swimming pool I would t have booked it

Comfortable bed, nice shower and a good breakfast, but it looks like they forgot to add a bar when designing the hotel! The bar was a little shack manned by too many staff that stuck to their job only

One last thing, when we ordered bottle of wine we didn’t expect it to be already opened! When we complained at the time, we were told that was the wine measure

When the ‘till guy” took 5 or 6 orders at a time, he didn’t help the “drinks person" and then we had to wait for the “serving person”

The MareHotel is one of the few hotels in Liguria that is truly located directly on the sea.

When the “man who only grilled food” appeared at the till… his arms went up not my job

Negatives: - terrible unusable wifi with constant interruptions, should be fixed asap. - conditioning is quite loud

For a family of five, that’s €250/day • Pool towels came with a €5 rental charge per towel. This felt petty for a 4-star establishment

Coffee was ok seeing as it came from a machine. Warm and Helpful Staff Staff were welcoming 4. Rooftop Pool Was a Hit With the kids. It’s not huge, but the panoramic views more than made up for that

The pool also looked cool although I didn't use it

The room size was generous for two people with many luxury touches including linens, robes and plush towels

Beautiful location, stunning views,and excellent dinner in the evening by the pool. However despite all of this I would say it was not good value for money

The attendant even made a nice breakfast to go plus cappucinos since we had to check out very early the next morning. I would definitely stay here again when I have more time to enjoy the stunning views

Amazing property, with breathtaking views and spectacular food. Only drawback I would like to mention is that 5 times they were out of various wine bottles we wanted to order

Everything about this place shines. The views, tha staff, the facilities, the food at the restaurant, all 5 star. We had 2 very relaxing days, with a massage each day.

The breakfasts were superb, the patisserie worthy of Paul Hollywood. We ate once in the evening and it was v good but v expensive and there are some excellent restaurants in Santa Margherita

Just one word of caution - you do need to be moderately fit or at least not completely unfit - the hotel is on a hill with fantastic views but it’s 130 steps down to the sea

We definitely came back fitter than we left - just as well with all that gorgeous patisserie at breakfast

I would go back to this hotel again, no question. The spa swimming pool was cold and overall the spa wasn’t worth €18 each to go in but overall the hotel was superb

Beautiful hotel in centre of Rapallo. There is construction going on but we heard no noise inside. The only downside for us was the spa/swimming pool. It's really small compared to the price.

The hotel was excellent and in a great position in the town. The staff were excellent and very nice. The breakfast is a basic continental but it is very nice and the coffee was lovely

One thing the staff did do was cater for our need for having hot drinks in our room. No kettle provided but they were more than helpful in providing a tray and tea pots when needed

The environment is good. It's right on the beach. The outdoor buffet is very comfortable.

Amazing setting with a private beach, a beautiful building which has been very tastefully restored to preserve its 1920s grandeur (fortunately they have kept all the beautiful original doors and windows with their brass handles)

The view on the port is wonderful and very poetic. A luxurious park leads you to the private pool which is agreable protected part of the sea

We spent two beautiful days in this authentic hotel with an ancient palace style. High ceilings, very quiet, excellent breakfast with lots of choice (fruit / pastries and eggs)

The restaurant and bar offered wonderful drinks and food (I have never drunk a daiquiry so expertly mixed!)

The staff at the hotel are all trained to extremely high standards of etiquette and knowledge, which is rare to find these days, as it requires considerable investment

The staff was very helpful and had great info/ suggestions for us. The room was clean and the included breakfast delicious. Sitting at the pool after a long day of hiking was an added bonus

Levanto is a lovely town with pretty streets and great food and the shuttle from the hotel to city centre and station made accessing the local area super easy

As mentioned by a number of other reviewers, the shuttle service to the train station and into town makes this a great location to easily access the Cinque Terre from the north

The hotel is up on the hill with a nice pool and spa facilities perfect for relaxation after a day of walking in Cinque Terre

We highly recommend the Park Hotel. Our room was upgraded, thank you very much! The pool was lovely, with great cocktails at the bar. There's a free shuttle service to and from the village

What a nice place.. Nice rooms and beds. What a view from the room! Diano Marina it self was a positive surprise. It can look that its not so easy to go to swim, but it was it!

The dinner was inside every night. Go down to Diano Marina instead! The service via email before our check in was terrific, I got quick and nice answers on all my questions

This was one of our favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect-very walkable, but still quiet. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, very comfortable room and lovely team.

One of the best hotels in all of Italy! My wife enjoyed her massage with candle at the spa very much! The hotel is incredibly beautiful and dinner and breakfast are both spectacular! We return every year to this incredibly beautiful hotel! The staff are also so very friendly and are almost like a 2nd honorary family to us! Bravo!

Stunning views of the gorgeous surrounding buildings and the pool barman/ lifesaver was an absolute legend. He also tops your drink right to the top which made us very happy

Excellent hotel right on the beach. Absolutely loved this hotel. It was absolutely stunning! Our room was huge and the balcony came right out onto the beach front. The hood at breakfast was great

The hotel itself is a charming old building but the rooms are like with great AC and bathroom and furnishings and drapery

It has a spa on the top floor where you can have a treatment looking out to sea through the jasmine and lavender. The staff members on reception were helpful and kind

I loved sleeping to the sound of the waves just outside the window. This hotel has personality and is well placed in the lovely lively yet civilised resort

The town has a historic area on top of a hill, a lovely bay and an interesting selection of independent shops — al within walking distance of the hotel

The bar area is quirky and lovely and the restaurant looks over the sea. The tables are set with white linen and the food is good

Unfortunately due to the noise levels we wouldn’t stay here again, a shame as there is a lot to like but we left feeling exhausted

There also was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and while breakfast was fine it was very expensive

We enjoyed the beautiful view and cleanliness of the room. For a family of four the family room was slightly small but still convenient enough. The staff was very kind and helpful.

However, the location was a disaster, it was central and incredibly noisy with mopeds roaring around late into the night and early morning, the noise insulation was really poor

Small single rooms. Nice balcony and great views in all directions. Pool opens too late and closes too soon for the business traveler. Good choice at breakfast. Avoid the American coffee though.

We stayed for one week in a junior suite with two small children. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely rooms and a stunning view. We especially enjoyed the children’s pool and the well-kept outdoor areas

The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a range of everything you could wish for all exquisite the fresh bread was still warm! The Dyson hairdryer was an extra touch of luxury. Definitely hope to return one day

From the moment of arrival to leaving, we felt warmly looked after with exceptional attention. The hotel is in a wonderful position in that you do not need to use a car once you are there as everything is workable

The luxurious black marble bathroom had dual sinks, and a heated floor. The location is extraordinary, just 2 blocks from the port/pizetta. The shuttle service to the beach was very timely and comfortable

The beaches are a 4-5 minute drive, and all three main beaches (Dior, Dolce, and the Eight are all next to each other). The guests appeared to be mostly couples. The staff were nice, especially Ricardo

The Eight hotel is a one hour drive from the Genoa airport, given the roadways, and the taxi cost is around 175-225 Euros. There are no Ubers in Portofino, so taxis are the only possibilities

My husband and I stayed at the Eight Hotel in early July 2025. We were in a Deluxe Room, recently renovated with high quality finishings and designs like the White Lotus

Excellent in every way! Location, staff, food and rooms. The small city of Santa Margeritha a gem. Safe, beautiful and with a great position between Portofino and Rapallo. Genuine and with a tangible air of Italy

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Jolanda. Location is perfect to restaurants and train station to close by towns for sightseeing. The pillow and bed is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We arrived at 11 am and he had our car valeted, took our luggage to hold on too an told us he would get our room ready within the hour. When we asked for suggestions he always had delightful ideas to share

This hotel was extremely clean, spacious and the location was wonderful. Great breakfast and the dinner we had one night in the restaurant was probably the best meal we had whilst in Santa Margherita

Close to the train, waterfront and the fabulous cafe's and restaurants and Piazza Caprera that was lively and beautiful. The location was an excellent base to visit Portofino and Cinque Terre towns

The pool area was excellent, for the time of year the number of sun loungers was plenty, and the view over the coast was perfect. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of hot & cold, and sweet & savoury

The room was spotless, the staff went over and beyond with making us feel comfortable. Bringing us a kettle and cups to our room and champagne upon arrival! ( I think that's because we are ******* VIP)

Santa Margherita itself is the perfect base for the area, with a calmer feel than some of the more intense tourist areas, whilst still having enough of a buzz to not feel too quiet

And the area was close to all restaurants and shops, as well as the boat to Portofino and the train to all the popular spots on the coast as well as the smaller villages

We just love Santa Margherita and our stay at the Hotel Laurin only made it better. Great facilities and staff and the perfect location.

We booked an ocean view room and we were in heaven. The terrace is stunning and has a beautiful view we will remember forever
