Where to stay in Sicily

Location was very good close to the centre and right opposite the pedestrianised sea front. Staff were good, pool was nice and generally a pleasant stay.

Hotel has no wi fi as stated on website. The breakfast is poor. Juice machine broken. One coffee machine. Air conditioning was good. Staff friendly but just a so-so place. On seawall but in very poor part of town . Many buildings deserted and run down. The casbah is about a 20 minute walk away.

Honestly a great hotel. Just checking out after 3 nights and it’s been a lovely stay. Hotel a bit dated but clean and well equipped. Uncomfortable bed and pillows, very bad breakfast, not fresh, worst I’ve had in Europe, very noisy and music from a wedding piped into courtyard until after 1:00 am not mitigated by sound machine and ear plugs. The sea facing rooms are lovely . The STANDARD rooms are small with the worst views I’ve ever seen …. You can almost touch the laundry lines on the building opposite. I’m not exaggerating. !

The room had a very strong smell of tobacco. There is only a curtain blocking the sunlight, so by 7:00 a.m. the room is already very bright, which wakes us up. Only one pillow is provided per person. We had a great stay at this hotel. When we first arrived, our assigned room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was a big issue for me since I am pregnant. However, the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind and changed our room immediately without any hassle. We were highly satisfied with the service and the overall quality of the staff. They truly care about their guests!

Very welcoming hotel. Good English speaking staff. Spacious and clean rooms, jumbo bed and great breakfast. Located in a quiet area, although it is just opposite the train station, which is not busy at all. Not far off from the city centre by walk. Minor maintenance is recommended in the bathroom.

Close to Ragusa, parking, pool, resort style hotel

We had this as one of our stops for 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Very clean and quiet. No traffic sounds and very peaceful. Good breakfast and nice staff. Room was well organized and clean nice decor. Would recommend it to anybody who wants time away from hurly burly. We didn't have time to experience the pool or spa unfortunately.

Perfect for what you need, big, clean rooms, big bathroom, big balcony, the hotel does feel a little lifeless, but hey, it's in noto, during the late/off season, can't expect too much more! Well situated with plenty of on site, free parking.

A large property just outside of central Noto, but walkable. Huge and easily accessible parking lot was appreciated. Breakfast service could use one more coffee machine- line got long at times. Access to pool is a bit of a walk and getting around inside of this huge property can be confusing but overall, a nice stay.

Beautiful converted monastery into a hotel in the hillsides with wonderful views. The facilities were wonderful with everything that you could hope for, staff at reception always very helpful and our room was lovely and spacious. Can definitely recommend a stay at this fabulous place.

I really liked staying in this hotel. There is an old-world elegance about it, which is enhanced by the kindness of the older generation who continue to insure the comfort of their guests, and the seriousness of the employees. Right in the middle of the old town. A fantastic location. Taomini is super busy with crowds, so it was good to be able to easily escape back to our hotel room. Location can't be beaten,right on the Corso.We have been coming here for many years & have always enjoyed our stay. Nice bedroom with balcony & sea view & comfortable bed. Had a most pleasant experience. Room was huge with high ceilings, modern bathroom and a delicious continental breakfast. Location was perfect for us who were not interested in views but rather in the middle of the mix. Could not have asked for more. Bed rest was great and Internet was fast and reliable.

It's definitely dated but very clean, very relaxing and just enough away from the crowds that it was super enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and had parking which is so rare in taormina. Pool was terrific, no competing for lounge chairs. Room was a great size and compared to other prices, was very good value.

Booked a double room with a balcony & got allocated a single room with no balcony. Emailed hotel 3 times to refund difference in price & they are ignoring me. Real shame as good hotel in great location but no customer service & don't feel ignoring emails is the response you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing

The hotel exceeded expectations, it was clean and hygienic, in fact the transportation was very convenient, it was a five-minute walk from the train station, the room had a large balcony where you could sit and drink coffee, it was much quieter than in a small town.
