Amazing view on the sea, the hotel is little vbit vintage for me but the staff was very nice and it was a very good stay

Okay not great The hotel was clean and walking distance to the restaurants and shops area. However, our room did not have natural light; it was too dark and the window showed a patio that looked for storage. The landscape of the pool and beach area was dusty and with weeds.

Overall, it’s a quite pleasant hotel. The cleaning staff is awesome, and I really appreciate the service of one specific waitress who was serving us throughout our vacation. Nice pool! The only inconvenience I found was the shower in our room which was simply unbearable to deal with all the time.

The area by the beach is very nice.

Wonderful oasis in a busy section of town. Superb breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable, although room equipment could use some attention.

Overall the place was great. The room was spacious, clean and confortable. The only draw back was that the breakfast had a limited selection.

The hotel is built in an apartment style and features fairly modern rooms. Secured parking is available in front of the hotel. The hotel serves a good breakfast, and the rooms have TVs and air conditioning. The location is good for quickly reaching Catania's classic sights and the train station.

The stay was wonderful. They have an excellent staff and they serve excellent breakfast. The property is beautiful and well maintained. I stayed here last week for a week with Tui with a friend. The staff are lovely and the hotel is in a great location. Stunning views from the balconies but the food is dreadful. We are so happy to stay in the 4 star hotel. It offers parking which is convenient for people renting cars, it is within walking distance to the town center and close to good restaurants and shopping and on top of it. It has elevators;)

The location is perfect for walking around to take pictures of old streets and sunrise over the sea. The food was excellent. Watch out in the shower! Make sure the smaller nozzle is facing down before turning on the water.

We had no prior booking and booked there and then at 2300 hours. Rooms bed is wide, firm mattress . Had 1 charging point. Pool/spa not free - about 40 euro PP. Hot breakfast ( omelet can be ordered via app, fresh juices, ham cuts. ) but include in the stay price. Roof top with selfcervice bar ( you log into computer what you take) .

The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view. One drawback is the shower is ridiculously small with a lightweight curtain that comes against you so there is no room to wash and water gets all over the floor.

The hotel is a bit tired; it needs to be modernized. I can imagine in the 50s/60’s it was the place to be in Taormina. There are many pictures around the hotel from that period showing the glamorous lifestyle then. I visited Calampiso resort with my family and had a good time. There's a big room for improvement, the hotel needs renovation, but the beach, food and evening programme was great. They could use electric vehicles for staff to get about as the motorised ones are too noisy. The hotel is at a very nice location! Along side of the main road, next to a gas station. It has private garage. On the ground, it's free of charge. For underground garage, 15 eur per day. The free one is already very good enough! Facilities are relatively new. They provided slippers upon request. Overall, it was a very nice experience! Oh, by the way, booking via this platform is quite cheap!

Very nice staff and really recommend to book with breakfast- it’s amazing.  Plus is pool on 6 floor.

Except for the remote location and not close to the train station, other aspects are very good. The hotel room has a lot of space, the bed is comfortable, and the bathtub is well designed with massage function, but it may not be used by many people. When using it, there will be small dirty fragments, which need to be opened several times to clean.

The Hotel is remote but set in a very attractive location - beautiful gardens and pools. The plants and wildlife are interesting. We stayed near the end of the season - the hotel needs a tidy up - cosmetic. Coffee machines often not working. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some tweaks to menu required e.g. lots of seafood dishes on the same service - leaving little choice for those with allergies...

The location is outstanding, the gardens are manicured to refection! It is such a treat to have a real green grass in Sicily. What topped it all are the staff, most speaks a few language, all are happy to work in the place and most of all have time to share their positive thoughts about the property. We spent 4 weeks in this wonderful house. It's just gorgeous, everything is there what you need. Dishwasher, washing machine, grill, freezer and a huge garden. Super nice owners, can only be recommended.

The hotel is beautiful inside and outside. The rooms are lovely and modern but there is NOTHING close by, not even a supermarket or cafe. Although it is not a sea view room, you can still see a piece of sea, which is more charming when combined with the garden view. Such a lovely place sadly with so many problems. Ideal for families who speak french or Italian. If you are a single couple speaking English expect a loud experience and very little help from the staff. The rooms and the premise are otherwise great. Breakfast is also good. The small "train" to the beach is also a very nice addition.
