A fantastic two-night stay at Starhotels. Perfect for our road trip with free parking and a great location. The room was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly—highly satisfied!

The hotel was well positioned outside the hustle and bustle of central Florence. We were travelling by train, so having the tram stop just across the road was very convenient. The room was a good size, the pillows wonderful and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

We stayed 4 nights. Since the start, we raised concerns over problems with the shower. It would switch from very hot to very cold (and vice versa), every 20 secs, regardless of where the temperature was set. The reception were informed and promised to investigate, but when we returned in the evening no action had been taken, and no update was provided either. The next day, the reception offered to switch rooms but since we were checking out the next day it was not convenient to relocate just for the overnight. We fell ill because of the constant problems with the shower, rendering our experience very unpleasant overall. So I repeat again, for room 702, please resolve.

Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent location half way between the airport and city centre - with the tramline that connects the two right outside the hotel. Very specific attention to detail, professional service throughout from all the hotel employees. Rooms well equipped. Cleanliness top notch. Really great breakfast -with hot food (bacon eggs, sausages) in addition to the normal continental breakfast. I had dinner on one night also and it was good. All in all a very pleasant stay (for a conference at the nearby university).

Convinient location with train station to main square/ Firenze S.M.N. train station right outside the hotel. Nice large, clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Housekeeping was on top of everything to ensure a comfortable stay.
Breakfast options could include some more fresh cut fruits.
Grocery store/mall - Coop is 5 mins walking from the hotel in case of some emergency supplies.
Additional mentions: right across the hotel is an open air sit-out place, where they had karaoke session in the evening which was fun. Drinks and pizza is available from the cafeteria for a charge, karaoke was free open to all.

Although the room isn't in the city center, its location is extremely convenient. Tram T2 is right outside, offering easy access everywhere, and there's a large supermarket directly behind the hotel for water, fruit, and snacks. The hotel definitely shows its age, but it's kept impeccably clean. The only minor issue was a sewer-like smell upon entering the room, whose source I couldn't identify. It vanished after I turned off the air conditioning and didn't return even when the AC was switched back on later. Slippers were provided, which was a thoughtful touch!

Having visited Florence multiple times, I can confidently say this hotel is fantastic and offers excellent value for money. It's situated in a new, very quiet area, which ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful.
A hotel of this quality in the city center would undoubtedly be much more expensive. For a city like Florence, which isn't vast, there's no real need to stay right in the crowded city center; this location is just a few bus stops away, and taxis are also very convenient.
The Tuscan beef burger at the Old Wild West restaurant next to the hotel is absolutely delicious – make sure to look for the '100% Italiano' label 🏷️, it's highly recommended! Plus, there are two large supermarkets and a Virgin gym nearby.

This hotel is perfect for getting to airport - only 12 minutes on the tramline that heads into the city. We booked directly, and everything from booking to checkout was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the rooms, which were well-equipped and had bathtubs. Breakfast was also fantastic! Wonderful experience!

Overall, it's quite good. Hotel rooms in major cities tend to be on the smaller side, and this hotel is a bit dated. For those driving, there are four parking spots directly in front of the entrance, and the hotel also has its own free parking lot right next door. There's a large supermarket directly behind the hotel, and a Chinese supermarket nearby. It's only about a 10-15 minute drive to Florence city center, which is very convenient. A tram stop is also conveniently located right outside the hotel, offering another easy way to get into the city.
