We stayed here in February 2026 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, both during the stay and after leaving an honest review.

First of all, we did not pay €60 as the host claims. We paid around €90 with Genius discount for one night, so expectations for basic comfort and professionalism were absolutely reasonable.

During the stay, the service felt very basic for the price: extremely limited amenities (tiny soap portions, no extras), many strict rules, limited assistance hours, and an overall feeling of not being very welcome. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered and was very limited in quantity (you get exactly one piece of each item). The only positive was that the lady at breakfast was polite.

What really shocked us was the property’s public response to our review. Instead of addressing the feedback in a professional way, the host accused us of lying, causing damage, being noisy, and even setting off a fire alarm. None of this is true. We are not smokers, we did not make loud noise, no guest ever came to tell us to be quiet, and no such incidents happened. Seeing a business publicly attack guests like this is honestly unbelievable and very unprofessional.

After reading other reviews here and on other platforms, it seems this kind of behavior from the host is not an isolated case. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking. For this price, you can easily find a hotel with better amenities and, more importantly, respectful and professional customer service.

I found a bed bug in my bed. But it's not the worst part of it. The worst part is when I aet in touch with B&B Lorena Suites manager. They claim that 1 lied (!) and sent them a fake (!) photos from another hotel. I asked them to sanitize the premises, but they flatly refused, saying that I had made it up.

So, as far as I understood, it was easier for them to deny everything in order not to admit the presence of a bed bug in their room. It was shock for me, I can barely image so low quality of service and personal.

When I posted my review on Booking.com, they replied accusing me of providing false information. They claimed that I had asked for permission to throw a party on their balcony (I didn't), that they refused, and that I’m now "taking revenge" because of it.

This is an outright lie. I never asked to throw a party - and what makes it even more absurd is that there was no balcony in my room at all. I an genuinely shocked by how easily they resorted to making things up instead of addressing the actual issues.

This level of dishonesty and defamation is unacceptable. These are not people you can trust. I strongly advise against dealing with them.

Absolutely unacceptable host attitude – hostile, unprofessional, and repeatedly disrespectful to guests.

The room itself looked nice, but the entire experience was overshadowed by the host’s behaviour — and not just toward us. After staying here, we went through many reviews on Booking, and the pattern is extremely worrying. Whenever guests leave fair or even mild criticism, the host responds with aggressive, attacking messages, sometimes even writing things like “never come again” or accusing guests of things that clearly do not match their actual experience.

This is not normal hospitality behaviour.
This is not professionalism.
This is hostility toward customers.

Our own experience was similar. Instead of taking feedback seriously, the host chose to publicly respond with disrespect, unnecessary accusations, and a defensive attitude that completely ignores the guest’s perspective. It feels like any honest comment is met with retaliation rather than reflection.

A place with nice decoration is meaningless if the host treats guests with contempt.

There are countless B&Bs run by people who genuinely care about hospitality. Unfortunately, this property repeatedly shows from its review history that it prefers to blame, attack, or invent stories about guests instead of improving service.

I strongly advise travellers to read the property’s responses on Booking before deciding. The way a host speaks to their guests says everything.

After I left an honest 6/10 review on Booking.com, the host replied publicly with false claims, including that I broke furniture (which I did not) and stayed late (I only asked to collect luggage at 1:30 PM) and request to store lugged at 12:30am ( I asked to store at 10:30am but was rejected) . I was never contacted by them and was told that I damaged anything, but she was lying and their response was defensive, accusatory, and unprofessional. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. After see the response, my rating 6/10 is too generous.

Very Good Experience
Our suite was very roomy and comfortable. As expected in Europe elevators are old and very cozy but work fine. We were pretty central to get to see the Duomo and the rest of the city.
Special thanks to Irina who was very attentive to ensure our stay way good. She is a very kind person who works very hard. Vera was also extremely helpful ensuring we had a taxi to get us to the train station on time thank you!!!

Extremely disappointing stay. Hotel agreed to refund us when we left but then refused to do so once I left my access card in the lobby. Lost €700. Room was dirty, had hairs and insects in bedding and stains around the furniture. Communication with hotel staff was argumentative at best.

The accommodation is nice, modern, clean and comfortable, we had no complaints about it. We only spent one night there, but I would love to go back for a longer stay. The location is close to the city center, with good transport (tram, bus). The ordered breakfast is forgettable (there is an excellent breakfast place 50 meters from the accommodation).
The reception host was nice upon arrival, later strict, like in a monastery. If they change this, they can get excellent reviews.
