Art Atelier in Florence

A wonderful hotel! Friendly staff, good breakfasts. If we return to Florence, we will choose this hotel again.

The location is truly excellent. I walked from the hotel to the cathedral and Uffizi Gallery, and explored the surrounding piazzas along the way – very convenient. It's only a 7-minute walk to the train station. The room had a radiator, and the bathroom provided shower gel and slippers, which is quite rare for Italy. The front desk staff meticulously marked attractions on a map for us and were very responsive! There are many Chinese restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. It's located in a small alley, and the navigation was accurate.

This hotel was a very reliable choice for our off-season trip to Florence. I booked it just three days before we left, without much planning, simply searching for 'city center,' and I was thoroughly impressed.

Here's why I recommend it:
1. **Excellent Breakfast**: The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of breads, fruits, hams, and cheeses. I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms – a great way to start the day!
2. **Great Room**: The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, and they even provided slippers and heating. It was truly comfortable!
3. **Wonderful Service**: The front desk staff were not only handsome but also incredibly helpful. There was even someone dedicated to assisting with luggage.
4. **Fantastic Location for Food**: Right outside the hotel was my absolute favorite restaurant from the trip, called CIRO…. What made it even better was that it was so close and surprisingly free of Korean tourists, which I loved! Plus, there are a few Chinese restaurants on the same street, which is a bonus if you enjoy Chinese food.
5. **Minor Drawback (but with a silver lining)**: The only slight downside is that it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. It's not too far, but with luggage, navigating the uneven cobblestone streets can be a bit challenging. On the flip side, being further from the station means less noise.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Good location, good breakfast and good service!

the breakfast is great, with a lot of choices, hot and cold bar, many kinds of fruit. they even have salad and smoke salmon.

The location is fantastic, only about a seven-minute walk from the station. Breakfast options are limited, but the pancake machine is a nice touch. The coffee is so-so. There's a Chinese restaurant right across from the hotel that serves amazing dumplings – highly recommend checking it out! However, the hotel's cleanliness is a bit lacking; I suggest they work on improving that.

Great location. The check-in was handled by a very pleasant and polite gentleman at the reception. The next day, there was an unsmiling girl at the reception, which left a less favorable impression. The hotel has a beautiful design, and the room was bright with nicely decorated walls featuring branch patterns. On the day of check-in, there was a pleasant scent in the room, but after the cleaning, they stopped refreshing it with that aroma, which was a shame because I really liked it. The adjacent corner window looked into a kitchen where a family of Indians or Pakistanis lived; they had many children who were constantly screaming, and the smell of their foul-smelling food from their kitchen permeated my room. I enjoyed breakfast on the first day, which included lightly salted red fish and mozzarella. On subsequent days, there was neither mozzarella nor the lightly salted fish (it was replaced with smoked fish, which I don't eat), making the breakfast quite ordinary, like in any average hotel. There was no classic scrambled eggs; every day it was an omelet with milk. Upon my request, they made an omelet for me separately without milk. Also, the juices at breakfast were delicious.

We loved this hotel for its location, convenience, cleanliness and the wonderful room. The staff was well trained and helped us with all our requests. The room had great amenities and was spacious. The quality of the breakfast buffet was about average. Most of the hotels in Italy don’t focus much on making various types of eggs(boiled and scrambled) still, they have good choices and even a pancake maker machine. It was fun to prepare them. Great location, very close to the Duomo and the train station. The room was incredibly spacious. The hotel's facilities and atmosphere were excellent, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back!
