Hotel Lungarno in Florence

Hotel Lungarno was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the ambience throughout the hotel was beautiful and inviting. The attention to detail really stood out, along with the top-notch cleanliness of every space. I especially appreciated the thoughtful added touches, like the turndown service, which made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was excellent and a perfect start to the day. A truly elegant hotel with exceptional service — I would happily stay here again

Had a nice stay. We had to change rooms cause one of the floors had a lot of noise with the pipes. The breakfast buffet is nice and I was very comfortable there.

This luxury hotel is located in a charming area of town. The food is exceptional, but most important are the outstanding staff. We arrived in the midst of a family emergency. The Hotel Lungarno staff were incredibly helpful, kind and caring. They provided extraordinary assistance with every need. We are forever grateful to all of the amazing staff, especially Ilaria, Andrea and Sara for their tremendous help during our time of stress.

Amazing hotel, with an amazing view and location. Rooms are clean and charming. Bed sheets are incredibly soft!!! Service is outstanding- everyone going above and beyond, especially James out front. He saved the day when we didn’t have cash and needed to pay for a taxi, he paid out of his pocket (we paid him back later that day). Will definitely recommend and come back!

The Hotel Lungarno is breathtaking. Most of the main attractions, and so many incredible restaurants, in Florence are within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed and beautiful. Staying within the hotel walls makes you feel like a piece of history and the walls of the sleeping quarters feel like they were carved out of the walls of a castle. The service from the gentleman who opened the doors to the room service were all exceptional. A special thanks to the bellman, James, for always greeting us with a smile and being willing to help. He helped make our stay special.

The most fantastic "doormen" in the world!! There's nothing they can't or won't do for you... In addition to their expertise, lovely rooms, excellent location, perfect service.

Wonderful stay. The views are amusing. 5 Stars Quality Service. Good standards. Peter's sushi, a experience To repeat. The staff was always available To our needs. The Rooms are "chic" and plenty of Style . We will return.

On our way to a wedding in Perugia, we decided to do a brief stay in Florence to revisit a few favourite spots. This time I booked at the Hotel Lungarno on the recommendation of the bride's aunt who lives in Florence, and am I glad I did!

What a charming, exquisite place! Amazing location, outstanding friendly service and gorgeous, well-appointed, comfortable rooms.

I come from the school of accommodation arrangements whereby I prefer a nice suite if I know we will be spending a lot of time at a hotel or resort, but will go for a nice, simpler room if I know we will be out all day, wondering around, sightseeing and will use the room only to bathe and sleep. Unfortunately, doing the latter can be a hit and miss affair sometime, even at 5 star places.

Not at Hotel Lungarno! I booked one of their simpler rooms, knowing we will hardly spend any time in it, other than sleeping and having a bath :-) Even this room is classically decorated, comfortable and has a lovely, luxurious feel. The ever important bed passed the test with flying colours after our 23-hour flight ... what a great night's sleep.

It's worth noting that even though we arrived a little before official check-in time, we were very well looked after by the wonderful staff, with a welcome drink overlooking Ponte Vecchio while they finalised our room for us. Thank you Hotel Lungarno for helping to make this short stay very memorable.

After this experience, I think we will always stay at Hotel Lungarno when in Florence!
