Cosmopolitan Hotel in Florence

Handy for airport and does a really good breakfast. Have now stayed twice with no issues

Located in a residential area, it's about a half-hour drive from the city center by public transportation, but be aware that public transportation in Italy often has issues...

The environment is okay—clean. The front desk staff was very friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about my recent stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond with their warmth, courtesy, and attention to detail. Every interaction felt genuine and kind—it’s rare to feel so truly welcomed while traveling.

The rooms were immaculately clean- truly the cleanest I’ve experienced anywhere in Europe. The air conditioning was a dream (a true luxury in Italy during the summer), and the space was both modern and comfortable.

Breakfast deserves a special mention: fresh, abundant, and delicious. Easily the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had- the scrambled eggs are next level, trust me.

Location is also amazing because it is so close to the airport, and quiet since it is not in the chaos of centro, but super easy to access with the train.

After 20 years of traveling frequently throughout Europe, I can honestly say this was the best hotel experience I’ve had. I will absolutely be back—and recommending it to anyone heading this way! Trust me!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in June of 2025. We wanted to stay close to the airport to sleep off the jet lag before heading to Chianti for the week. The rooms are elegant and practical, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet is off the charts! This was supposed to be a quick pit stop on our vacation, but it will now be a treasured memory. Thanks to everyone at the Cosmopolitan for making our stay so enjoyable!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to Tuscany. Let me just say that the experience was incredible. Location was very good, only a couple of blocks from the Tram that took us to the historic center and on the last day to the airport. Room was very clean and comfortable. But our rating of the hotel is overwhelmingly the result of the excellent treatment by the staff. When arriving we met up with a gentleman at the desk (we were early for our checkin, but he was able to get us to a room) and he was just so incredible in explaining how to get around Florence, to the Tram and just generally was kind, helpful and generous with his time. I wish we could remember his name, as he is certainly the reason that if we were to return to Florence we would go back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. Our flight was going to get in late, and my wife and I wanted to be ready for the next day. The Cosmopolitan Hotel did not disappoint. Check-in went smoothly, and we had a great first sleep in Italy. Extra credit to the staff for helping me quickly track down the cab company who drove us to our next destination. I left my glasses case in the cab. Thanks to their helpfulness, I had my glasses back in less than 30 minutes. Much appreciated. Highly recommend. And thank you to the staff at the hotel!

Very nice and clean hotel with a helpful reception and very accommodating check out options. I missed breakfast so can’t say much about it but my mates enjoyed it. High note the rooms were nice and warm which was great given the freezing wet weather outside.

Arrived at Florence hotel at 11:30 on November 6th, stayed 1 night, and returned home 1 night on November 25th
I've been to many hotels, but I didn't want to go anywhere else.
The reason is that the late arrival at the hotel on a late flight was so kind, and the hotel was so clean.
Free parking and meals are not included in the hotel fee, but the breakfast was so good.
The bathroom was also very clean.
It's close to the airport and downtown, so I want to stay there again next time I go, and I want to recommend it to my friends.
And there's a restaurant across the hotel that's open until 1 AM, so you can have a simple drink and a snack.
I'm satisfied with everything.

The room was clean and tidy, of a good size. Breakfast started at 7:00 and was very good. There are two Italian restaurants nearby, Pizza Man and TITO, which are very good. Parking is available downstairs of the hotel. Will come again.
