The room was quite cozy, although it had a strong smell of paint or wood. Perfect location if you're exploring the city center on foot.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and outstanding staff. The hotel’s location is unbeatable - just steps from Florence’s most iconic landmarks. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, offering both comfort and elegance. The service through our stay was exceptional. Truly a flawless experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We booked a double room but mistakenly put one occupant when it was with two. Despite this, the hotel charged us an extra €60 per night (negotiated down from €70). This was frustrating because the room price does not change based on the number of occupants when booking so the fee is unfair. Additionally, the cleaning service was below standard. Overall, these issues affected our stay negatively.

The hotel is near Republic Square, right next to Hermès and a Chinese noodle restaurant that serves ramen. After ringing the doorbell to enter, there's a short flight of stairs, so you have to carry your luggage up yourself. Then you take the elevator from floor 0 to floor 1, where check-in and breakfast are located. Breakfast starts at 7:30 AM and offers a decent variety, including hot water and bottled mineral water. Our room was on the 4th floor, a triple room with one double bed and a pull-out sofa bed. The hotel doesn't provide free water in the room; everything in the mini-fridge is chargeable. It's quite clean. The bathroom fan is a bit noisy, but you can't hear anything once you close the bathroom door. The main showerhead works, but the smaller side jets are broken and can't be fixed at a specific height. The staff were very nice; they even asked if we'd like cappuccino for breakfast.

The room is very spacious, and the location is excellent. You step right out into an area with all the major luxury brands, and nearby attractions are easily accessible. Breakfast was extensive, and even though there was a bit of a language barrier, communication was smooth. Highly recommended!
