4 night, long weekend with my daughter for my"60th". Very good location, 10 minute walk from the station and 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Always clean and tidy in our room. Good selection for breakfast. Top floor in the building with no lift, but for us it wasn't a problem, even after 463 steps up and down the Dome 🤣. Lovely holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Locanda dei Guelfi this week. Clean, spacious, characterful room with en suite in a beautiful old building, just a few minutes’ walk from the main sights and easy to get to. We received a very warm welcome and the staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely continental breakfast with a view of the Duomo over the rooftops. Would definitely recommend and will return when we next visit Florence.

Be ready for steps as there is no elevator - four floors to check-in. Other than that it is good.

Place was very nice, clean and confortable. It was confusing to find the right address but once you are in the right door you must ring the bell for the Hotel to het the door open. It is at the 4th floor and there is not an elevator. Is the only down side, otherwise the breakfast was the surrounding are excellent. You have easy access to any thing: shopping, restaurants, terminal, transportation.

The perfect B&B for a quick visit to Florence. The rooms, reception & breakfast room were all very clean and comfortable with good beds & bedding which made for a good nights sleep. There was decent air conditioning throughout the B&B, including the bedroom, & a good power shower that holds its temperature and pressure. The roof terrace is up a tight winding stair case but it’s 100% worth it for the views across the city. It’s peaceful & away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but not too far that you feel out of the way. Its location is perfect, being 10 minutes walk from the tram stops & train station and 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and other popular attractions. The staff (maybe owners?) were friendly and helpful which topped the experience off. We’d highly recommend providing you’re relatively fit to hike the 70 steps at the start.

Location was great -5 min from all the sights. B&B is up 64 steps so be aware with the suitcase. Rooms are clean and large compared to Italian rooms. Breakfast is continental. And staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and helpful staff, good location. Roof top area is great for a glass of wine and photos. We enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine

The location is great, but the front desk staff is not very friendly. The heating is not on. It's a bit cold at night.

This property fit our needs as it was within walking distance to the Duomo and other sites. The breakfast was nice and adequate. We loved the view from the rooftop. Our room was clean and comfy. The service was good and he even carried our luggage up/downstairs for us. Overall satisfied. Only recommendations is they need new pillows as they were really flat and if you don’t like stairs there is no lift like most buildings in Italy.

Be forewarned that you have to walk up 69 steps to reach the B&B. No elevator, no porter. The parking was quoted at 21 euros per 24 hours. We were there 36 hours and was charged 76 euros.
