Mediocre hotel, the only one probably in Italy that serves a heartless filter coffee at breakfast. It ha s very noisy rooms, if you want to hear the whispered conversations of your neighbours, this is the place to be. The beds are comfortable though the matress is sheeted with a plastic wrap for diminished sleep comfort.
Nevertheless, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The location is close to the centre and conveniently close to the tram station.

This hotel is conveniently located near Santa Maria Novella station. The rooms are tidy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast could be a bit better, but overall, it's a good place to stay.

Great hotel with an excellent location for exploring Florence. Housekeeping kept my room and the rest of the hotel sparkling clean. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and kind. While the room had convenient modern amenities, it also had old world charm.

Great location! The room is very small! Breakfasts are good. Book a room facing the courtyard. We stayed in a room facing the street. In the early morning, the trash trucks start driving by and empty the bins very noisily. 3-4 trucks a morning. There's an outdoor toilet right in front of the hotel entrance.

You absolutely must bring cash to pay the city tax! The door to our room couldn't be locked, and it felt a bit unsafe at night.

The view from the upper floors is great. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the train station and various attractions. There's a park at the entrance, drinking water is available, and there are kettles in the rooms. There's a Chinese restaurant at the entrance that's not very good.

We loved our stay. Simple but comfortable hotel. Chilly old 19th century style but very clean and super attentive staff. A special highlight to the receptionist Mr. Carllo who received us with great joy and good humor! Very close to the historic center and next to the central market... I highly recommend it and we will be back!
