All was perfect! At our arrival we'd a warm welcome by Tommaso, and during all our stay Marta and Tommaso gave us support and recommendations that made our days in Tuscany just perfect! The B&B is beautiful and very well located. The installations are luminous, spacious, clean and well equiped. We enjoyed a lot and we felt in family! We strongly recommend B&B Monte Oliveto if you want to ensure a dream stay! We're going to come back, surely!

Although it faced the (residential)street it wasn't noisy.
Not too far from the station - we trundled suitcases for about 20 minutes.
A few restaurants within 5 - 10 minutes walk.
Thomaso and Marta are a very nice couple who do the best for their guests. Our big disappointment was that due to a change in their circumstances they had discontinued the in-house breakfast and we got a voucher for a coffee and a couple of croissants at a nearby café (but we learned this only on arrival). When booking accommodation we had sought to avoid such an arrangement.

Our stay was great, room was huge, we had a lot of space and there was a bonus tiny kitchen we were not expecting. The hosts made us a fresh breakfast with coffee each morning out in the garden.

Every year we go to Italy for Jean's birthday. This year we spent three weeks in southern Tuscany, beginning with two nights with Marta and Tomasso at Monte Oliveto and concluding with two more nights back at Monte Oliveto. We enjoyed everywhere we went, but Marta and Tomasso were by far the best hosts we have found anywhere. We stayed in two different rooms - both immaculate, well laid out and comfortable, with good amenities. Breakfasts were stellar and the inn is close to Piazza Tasso, where we had some great dinners by sampling an assortment of different restaurants. We liked Monte Oliveto so much that the night before our 2nd stay there, we were talking about how nice it was going to be to see Marta and Tomasso again.

Best place ever! Perfect example of what a lovely B&B should be. Marta was the best host, showed us how to get to places, Carolina was amazing cook and a sweetheart. If I am ever going back to Firenze, I’ll definitely be back there.

We suggest you read all the good reviews on B&B Monte Oliveto. They are all true. This B&B is simply fantastic and worth every penny. Much thanks to the personal attention and care Martha and the others give their guests. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, far from all the tourist crowds and noise. You may have to walk a bit or take a taxi but it is worth it when you virtually live in a small, Italian garden. Rooms are rustic in style, clean and confortable. We had one with bath - spacious and very clean. A very point is the fact that the guests dine around an oval table, seating 8. This way you meet your fellow tourists, have great talks and company. We had guests from Lithuania, England, Irland, Israel and Canada during our 3 days. A really pleansant arrangement. It should also be added that there are many good eateries within a 5-10 minute walks and we found really great, authentic restaurants around. Our sincere thanks to Monte Oliveto.

This is an absolute gem. I cannot say enough about this stay. Marta made us feel welcomed and at home. The breakfast was out of this world. The room was a good size, clean, and the bed was comfortable. It is a good value for the money. The location is in a quieter part of Florence which is refreshing. There are not many dining options nearby, but it is easy to plan accordingly. There are grocery stores within blocks and there's a fridge in the room. We were able to walk to all of the sights easily although if you come in by train I recommend you take a taxi to the B&B..
