La Locandiera B&B in Florence

Silvia was an incredible host. She went above and beyond and was so helpful and kind. I will definitely be staying here again if I come back to Florence. The fresh warm croissants in the morning were excellent. Silvia also donated some clothes for us as we ran out of space in our suitcase which we really appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay here! Silvia was very accommodating and brought us our breakfast early one morning because we had early museum tickets. She also recommended a lot of great restaurants, one of which we tried and loved. The room was clean, and the bed had memory foam! The location was convenient for train station travel, but it was at least a 15 minute walk from most other Florence attractions. This wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't over 100 degrees every day we were in Florence (pro tip: don't go to Florence in August). One downside was that the B&B charges you $2.50 per day to change your towels. While I agree with the goal of conserving water, I would suggest that they do as many other hotels in Italy and just strongly encourage guests to only ask for new towels if they actually need them instead of charging for them.

+ Perfect location - near the railway station, tram to airport, short walk to the center. A cosy and clean room and friendly hostess. I liked it very much! Thanks a lot!

We were touring italy via train so choose this venue due to its proximity to the station. We were very impressed, the lady who runs it was some nice and helpful and served us a very nice breakfast in our room each morning. Highly recommend the B&B.

We have stayed in many B&B and this one is superb. Location is awesome, just around the corner from train station. Sylvia, the owner does it all, she cleans, she does the bookings, and she cooks. The breakfast , you actually get a menu and you can pick what you like and she delivers to your room. Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and 14 year old grandson stayed here for 2 nights. Loved everything about this little gem. Walking distance to the train station and many shops, main sights and restaurants. Breakfast was delivered to your room on a little cart which was great! Silvia was a dear sweet lady that interacted with us regularly at checkin and checkout! Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful B&B! Spotless with a nice homey vibe, and perfected located in Firenze (close to the train station and a few minutes away from the center). Silvia is absolutely lovely and a wonderful hostess who makes sure your stay is as pleasant as it can be. Breakfast is fantastic and served in your room. Only good things to say about this place, I recommend it 100%.

Sylvia and her husband were absolutely amazing. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and the most perfect area for our stay. Sylvia was informative very accommodating and very special to all of us. If you ever book this pleasant stay you will never regret it. She is the best!! And someday we hope to be back again.
