It was greater than I expected. Cozy room, good location, breakfast buffet, kind staff etc…
Everything was amazing. I’d love to come back here, thank you so much.

Really nice hotel and very cosy room to spend for 2 days for weekend and it’s located in very quiet area closer to the central station and also closer to the piazza de Santa Maria monte piazza and was closer to the church too! Then I went for visiting the Santa Maria a novella for the first time, which is very quiet church and you can relax and clearing your head if you are packed with problem from work and life!!!

The hotel is incredibly close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, which is very convenient. It's also within walking distance of the city center and other attractions.

The hotel's decor is elegant and charming, with a classic, antique feel. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all warm and friendly. There's an elevator, but each one is quite small, only fitting two people at a time. However, the stairs are easily accessible too. The carpeted floors mean that footsteps don't disturb others.

Upon check-in during Christmas, we received local specialty Christmas cookies (Prato almond biscuits) and a greeting card, which was a lovely touch.

On New Year's Eve, there was a harp performance in the lobby, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

The hotel breakfast was abundant and delicious!

The room was very spacious; there was plenty of room even after placing our luggage. The hotel mentioned it had been renovated in 2025, and I really liked the floral wallpaper and bedspread. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, providing a 2-in-1 shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. The staff noticed we were two women and thoughtfully replaced our towels with two pink ones the next day – very attentive service.

The air conditioning worked excellently, keeping the room very warm. The window overlooked a small inner courtyard, not the street, so it was quite quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel is cozy, clean, and in a convenient location, with friendly staff. It's not a new hotel, but it's very well-maintained. There's a small heated jacuzzi, which is perfect after a walk in the evening. The breakfasts are a bit repetitive, but there's enough variety to start your day. The coffee is delicious.

The hotel is ok for few nights, but doesn’t match my expectations. It’s clearly not 4star. Just mediocre quality of 3. It’s an old hotel on side street close to Florence train station, nothing special, there are many other hotels like that. Rooms and hotel itself is old, there is ongoing renovations and some rooms are fully new, but it’s much more expensive and for that price you can clearly find better hotel.
Breakfast is poor.
It’s not for disabled people for sure, because access to some rooms includes our by the stairs.
It has an interesting garden, but it’s just old.
There was girls every evening, She plays the harp beautifully. Plus for that experience.
I thought it was an actual boutique hotel, but it’s outdated.
We have asked staff for better room, but it was rejected and they asked to pay twice of price we paid for our room already. So it was clearly not worth it.

Hotel reception staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, AC was good, showers and restrooms were good. Bed was comfortable.

11 of us arrived after travelling from the states. There were adults and children 10 to 15. The first night we decided to eat at the hotel as we were tired, hungry and did not want to travel far.

The hotel restaurant was excellent. They made accommodations for all of us and made several recommendations regarding the foods. Everyone got something different and we shared family style. Everything was perfect. Each meal was prepared to perfection. The food came out all at once (for a large party very impressive) all hot and delicious.

The suggestions from the staff was enough fill everyone and also leave room for some delicious desserts. The head waiter (I think Francesco?) was remarkable. He was like a conductor in an orchestra.

It was one of the best experiences we had during our stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 3-5 minute walk from Naples SMN train station. Right outside the hotel, to the right, there's a very popular pasta restaurant famous for its flaming cheese pasta. You usually have to queue, but tables turn over quite quickly. Across from the train station, there's also a steak restaurant, a local hotspot with several branches. Their T-bone steak is quite good. However, while some Chinese reviews recommended the braised tripe, I'd strongly advise against trying it unless you're specifically keen on a tomato-sauce-like flavor.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very welcoming, and the service was excellent. The only deduction for facilities is due to the incredibly weak Wi-Fi signal in the room. The signal was even stronger in the bathroom than near the bed. Although staff came to check it, it seemed to be a coverage issue, possibly due to the room's location. My own 5G signal was also poor, making internet access extremely difficult.

The hotel's in-house restaurant claims to be Michelin-recognized. I had high expectations for its breakfast, but it was no different from other traditional Italian hotel breakfasts, and even felt a little basic. It fell far short of the breakfast we experienced at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Switzerland.

I have never been treated so rudely at a hotel. Several members of the front desk staff were incredibly disrespectful — not just to me, but to anyone whose first language wasn’t Italian. They make you feel stupid for asking basic questions. I witnessed them repeatedly ending poor explanations with a sarcastic “if you don’t understand” and a shrug, showing no real intention to help.
That is not hospitality — especially not in a boutique hotel that prides itself on recognition and awards. It’s truly a shame, because the hotel itself is beautiful, but the service seriously detracts from the experience. I understand they deal with many tourists, but that should be even more reason to show empathy and kindness, not irritation. As a traveler, I was simply looking for guidance and a bit of courtesy — not to be made to feel small for needing help.

This was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Florence! The rooms are absolutely amazing and the location is perfect. Close to the center of the city but not too much so that it’s loud. They have ice cold water in the lobby, which is a blessing in Italy in the summer, and their patio garden is beautiful. They also were so sweet and surprised us with a bottle of champagne and cookies for our honeymoon! I definitely recommend staying here!

Great location in terms of proximity to train station and historical centre. Breakfast was good and the staff who served coffee and drinks was very warm and friendly. Just the bathroom window was broken and was unable to be opened and the lid of kettle was broken as well. Other than these minor issues it was a comfortable stay.
