Not a 4-star quality hotel. The hallway floors were dirty, and inside the room the floors were cracked and the walls were peeling. The bed sheets were extremely thin—so thin that even after the bed was made, the mattress was clearly visible. Between the two thin sheets, the quilt itself was yellow (hard to see in photos, but noticeable in person).

The TV/remote did not work at all, and the AC stopped functioning overnight, flashing an extremely bright “HELP” message that made it difficult to sleep.

Breakfast was also misleading. The hotel states it starts at 7am, but when I arrived, the area was empty with no staff present. The following morning, I came an hour before breakfast ended and everything was already gone—empty juice containers, dirty plates, and used cups left out.

Photos included for transparency. This property needs serious attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and basic guest comfort.

Poor wheelchair acessibility (seperate door), no disabled parking spaces, access to the dining room/ restaurant meant going outside and in another door due to no ramps inside the hotel, ok in summer but not in winter/ wet weather.

This is a personal opinion, others may not feel the same way.

It has a bus stop right outside the hotel. Which is very convenient. The room was Just enough staying for a night. Don’t expect too much.

It is deeply unprofessional, and speaks volumes about the lack of quality control (or disregard of it), that such a room was given to a hotel guest, and made pay full price. Also, staff should be trained better to handle such a situation, show some empathy at least, not just speak Italian amongst themselves and shrug their shoulders.
30 degrees in a room is simply not acceptable, end of story. Such a room could not be given to guest, it is uninhabitable, impossible to sleep inside. And you should really enforce a proper way to compensate guests for that. Chasing profit and full occupancy is all well and good, but only if the conditions in the rooms are appropriate. You should leave such a room empty next time until you find a way to get the temperature under control. This is unacceptable!

The resort is old but renovated. But one can definitely see in the details that its all too old. The blanket is some old rug covered in white sheets which keeps coming out all through the night. The elevator looks so dirty and the chairs in the breakfast area was torn and old too. The breakfast was very bad. Very cheaply made and tasted too bad too. The coffee machine gave out watery coffee. Overall not worth 4 stars but just 2 stars.

Everything is fine for this price. Best to improve the service from the hotel staff.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The breakfast was a complete joke – just croissants and bread, nothing else! As a vegetarian, there were absolutely no proper options. I had to order food from outside, and to make things worse, the staff flatly refused to provide plates or cutlery to my room, saying it’s “against their policy.” What kind of ridiculous policy is that for a hotel claiming to provide hospitality?

This is not how guests should be treated. Such poor service and lack of basic courtesy deserve a negative rating – I would give it -1 star if that was possible!

At first glance, this hotel looks great when you’re booking online — almost too good to be true. And, well… it was.

When we arrived, the building had more of a haunted house chic vibe than a welcoming resort. Reception was fine, nothing to rave about, but the rest of the building made sure to remind us that “vintage” doesn’t always mean charming — sometimes it just means old.

The bed was probably around for the hotel’s grand opening… about 50 years ago. My daughter left with mysterious bites — souvenir courtesy of who-knows-what. The bathroom? Let’s just say it won’t be winning any design awards, unless there’s a category for “least inspiring.”

On the bright side, the location is convenient for getting into the city, and the pool is a decent size (if you don’t mind competing for the very limited loungers). The restaurant, however, was as reliable as a coin toss, with food that left us wondering if we should’ve just brought instant noodles instead.

Overall, this place could be great — if someone invested in it and trained the staff properly. For now, if you want a hassle-free holiday and don’t enjoy rolling the dice on beds, bathrooms, or bites, I’d recommend spending a little more elsewhere.

Such a shame… the potential is there. It’s just buried under decades of neglect.
