Great location just above the Spanish steps room was clean and comfy and the free breakfast was wonderful. Nice staff they held our luggage too when we left Rome for a few days. Street noice at night was a little distracting but to be expected in a city

We loved our stay at Hotel Martelli! The day Receptionist was especially welcoming and helpful. There were many lovely touches, including the cold lime water and biscuits in the foyer to a lovely breakfast and a place to leave our bags (and ourselves!) before check in and out. Our room was delightful and everything worked well and was clean. It's perfectly located between the train station and major attractions. Wifi was fast and always available. Highly recommend

I haven’t even gotten to stay here and already receiving HORRIBLE treatment. Contacted hotel because I was charged even though I cancelled my reservation with Expedia. Spoke to a man named DINO, and I have never talked to someone as rude and uncompassionate as him. I explained that my father passed away from cancer and that’s why we canceled and he literally said “that’s not our problem and has nothing to do with us”. My family have been loyal guest at this hotel as they love going to Europe twice a year and they had recommended this hotel. But after this I will never book at this hotel and will make sure my family never books here again.

Staff very nice helpfull , breakfast was jut as we like it variation and pleanty. A special thanks to Cimonetta at the breakfast made it even more nice to eat breakfast.
Nect time we go to Florence we we stay here , buy take a larger room. Double standard is not the standard we are use to, but it as ok, and very clean, thank you to the staff of cleaning.

Very good hotel - the room, the halls and the breakfast space are all very clean and proper. The staff is very kind, the breakfast offers a good choice, and the hotel is really very well located (10 mn from Maria Novella Station, 35 mn from the airport with the tramway, and a few minutes from almost all places of the historical center).

litl small rooms, breakfast was very simple and i don't understand why I must left roomkey on reception every time when go outside.

The beds are horrible especially for people with bad backs and sleep apnea. The mattress was the worst I've ever slept on in a hotel. The staff are nice and great but the rooms need a major upgrade. Also need to upgrade TV give people a choice of language to listen to or a variety of channels with a variety of languages to watch. Also watch for ants. Dont leave any type of bags with any residue of food on nor in it. Location is also good. But very pricey for what you get overall.

Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
On the other hand, there's no air conditioning, and the only option is to sleep with the windows open, exposing yourself to noise and mosquitoes.

The photos show a pool, which wasn't real.
The service was very good, but the restaurant staff weren't friendly. I can say it was a comfortable stay.
