We had a good stay at Novella Italy. Everything was super smooth from self check-in until check-out, making the whole experience convenient and stress-free.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was excellent—the customer service I contacted were very helpful and responsive.

It’s definitely great value for money, especially if you’re on a budget. I would gladly stay here again when I’m back in Florence. The location is also very convenient, just right in front of the tram. You can hear it at night, but we didn’t mind the noise at all and still had a good rest.

Overall, a pleasant stay and highly recommended!

I booked this accommodation from the 21st to the 24th, and it was a completely unacceptable experience. Upon our arrival, there was no one to greet us, nor were we sent access instructions, which is a basic expectation for this type of lodging. I tried to contact them multiple times by phone and WhatsApp, but received no response whatsoever.

Even people from the building itself tried to call the owner to let them know we were there, but they didn't answer. We were literally left out on the street, with no solution or assistance provided.

This isn't just poor management; it's a complete lack of responsibility towards the customer. If we hadn't had the resources to react, we would have been left without accommodation that night.

Fortunately, Trip.com responded appropriately and handled the refund, but we had to find and pay for another hotel on the spot, with all the stress that entails.

My conclusion is clear: this is not a reliable place to stay. Do not book here.

To check into their home smoothly, I had to go through a bit of a mental game, like hide-and-seek. After a little struggle, I finally checked in. Luckily, the room was nice, spacious with a small balcony—a bit luxurious for one person. The bathroom was shared, but there was a refrigerator and kettle in the common area. My room was next to the bathroom, so it got a bit noisy late at night with people coming and going. It was a 10-minute walk to the train station and about 20 minutes to the old town center. The price was really cheap; two nights cost the same as one night in a typical two-star hotel in Europe.

Very good location. Just a walking distance from the train station. The room was clean and it has aromatic smell. The shared bathroom was also clean and functional.

Out of all the places I stayed in Italy, this was definitely the best. The location was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I'd love to stay here again if I ever come back.

I feel like Ctrip and the hotel need to improve their communication. Check-in was a self-service check-in system. The host sent me a photo description and an email, but I only received the email, not the photos. This made finding the room difficult. I later contacted Ctrip customer service and was able to get in. I contacted the host on WhatsApp and found the photo description was quite clear. I hope Ctrip can improve their process so that guests can also receive photos. This room faces the street, and the soundproofing is average, so be careful if you're bothered by the noise.

Place is a 10 minute walk from the train station. The main door is just difficult to open, but everything else is good. The bathroom is clean even if its a shared bathroom, and there are only few people using it.

There is a lift, and an electric fan in the room since there is no airconditioning. For the price of the room, you get your money's worth.
