Great hotel in a wonderful location Just to put the review in perspective we had room 53, which was on the second floor and the outlook was over the interior across some roofs

I only stayed for two nights. The room was comfy and clean. The location is awesome and the staff super friendly.

The room was the best we experienced and the restaurant a few doors up from the hotel called Matto Matto is well worth a visit, wonderful food and service at very reasonable prices! The staff were all lovely and the hotel was clean with a wonderful array of smells as you walked around it

Hotel Victoria in Florence Italy is a small boutique Hotel in a very central location in Florence. the street Via Nazionale is a very busy /bustling street with many small hotels, but also quite central

all the major attractions are within easy walk. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, plenty of choice and all fresh

The hotel assigned a room on the top floor with stunning views of the cathedral and the city. However, the stairs to the top floor are steep and narrow, which might be inconvenient for those with large suitcases

Inside, the room was spotless thanks to the lovely housekeeping staff—affectionately known as the “Nona’s. ” Fresh towels were provided daily, and everything was consistently clean and well cared for

Breakfast was excellent with wide variety of pastries, fruits, yogurts, hot / cold items and numerous coffee selections. Staff were friendly, helpful and house cleaning was very good

Hotel was very considerate in providing coffee, biscuits, etc. Wife enjoyed numerous artwork displays throughout. Highly recommend accommodation and would definitely stay here again

breakfast was better than some american brand hotels. not the basic amenities in the room, like electric hot water kettle, closet space. the bathroom was without a sink basin or counter space put your toiletry.

The atmosphere was warm and social, with fun evening events and a cozy common area to relax or meet other travelers. The room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast was simple but nice

This hostel is great for meeting other travelers, as they have activities every night. The front desk staff were also friendly and polite, which was a pleasant experience.

Fantastic location — just a short walk from Firenze SMN train station and all the main attractions like the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The staff were super friendly and always smiling, giving great local recommendations

The hotel service was good, though the facilities were a bit dated. The space was quite large, and there's a bar downstairs, which makes for a lively nightlife

We booked a 6pax female room and we got a whole section of the room completely to ourselves with bunk bed and our own bathroom/table area

They also have a self-service kitchen where you can cook pasta for free, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it's a hostel I liked a lot

But the climb (there are 67 to be exact) may leave you breathless, but is to be expected given the age of the building and we opted for the stairs to be SO centrally located

Grab a glass of wine and head up there to watch the sun set for a nice relaxing evening. Every staff member we came across was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience in Florence

I can not say enough good things about this hotel and our 16-day stay! Giuseppe and the other front desk staff went out of their way to help, provide recommendation and help when my husband got sick

I appreciated the bidet and the heated towel rack and the ability to open both the bathroom and bedroom windows. The rooms are good sized, but a little dated

We appreciated the coffee, juice and water machines as well as the morning cookies and being greeted with bubbly upon our arrival. Thanks Giuseppe and the whole crew for making our time so memorable

We found the shower to be small, but also discovered that this is often the case in Italy and it was workable

Alessandra is a most welcoming, kind and helpful person we've ever met. Hotel stands on the 2nd floor and in a while there will be an elevator

It's near the train station but the spot is fantastic and relatively near the historical centre (about 10' - 15' walking)

One problem: we wanted to stay an extra night, but there were no rooms available, so we had to look for another hotel

The room wasn't big, but its best feature was its excellent location, right in the heart of town. Shops lined both sides of the street, and there were even places to drink in the evenings – very convenient

Stayed for 3 more nights. Good location. The bathroom in the room is big enough for one person. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was a set meal without meat, but it was enough. It's worth staying.

I don't see any point at all: Florence is a very compact city and it takes 2-5 minutes to walk to the Duomo from any central hotel. Therefore, I would look for something more comfortable and soulful

The hotel was right there by the Duomo. The room was great, two stories. We stayed 3 of us, my husband and our daughter. There was a queen bed and a tv upstairs. And downstairs was a daybed and a tv and the bathroom

We had a three-bed family unit, which consisted of a queen sized bed in a loft, and a single bed on the lower level. The staff was very helpful with helping us locate the unit, parking suggestions, and check in

The location is right by the Duomo. The room was superb, facing the Duomo. It was two stories, dublex room. Our daughter was very happy to have a room of her own instead of a roll away

The juice, American coffee were plenty for me. The twin room is small but clean and the location is not to be beat. I spent one evening in a double which was also very special

The Junior suite with the frescos was one of a kind. Beautifully decorated and furnished. The stuff is amazingly and uniquely friendly and helpful. Fresh coffee in the morning instead of a coffee maker

In the old town only walking minutes from the cathedral. One of the best accommodations ever

Staff was pleasant but we weren’t told breakfast was extra when we checked in, and the next morning the person in charge was 10 minutes late, so we had to wait for fresh coffee

The bathroom is a bit small, but this hotel was truly amazing considering its central location in the city (we never had to take public transit other than to and from the airport) and lower price point

I truly recommend for everyone to stay here! The hotel was even better than I was expecting. The single room was great, inside it had a sink, a big mirror, and a mini fridge, which was really handy

He also gave us advice on the best time to visit certain locations, and seemed genuinely invested in our stay. The room was well furnished and equipped with AC (which was a must in July)

The rooms were also very clean and recently renovated, the toilet was beautiful. They even lent me their wine glasses (and offered to lend me their bottle opener) for me to drink wines in their hotel

The room is very big, the bathroom is very big, the decoration is not luxurious but has a sense of design. There was someone at the front desk from 7:30 to 21:00. The waiter was very friendly and provided free breakfast

I spent 6 nights with my mom here. Receptionists were very very friendly, a small hotel that has a double lock mechanism on the main door so the security is guaranteed

Free breakfast was delicious, one of the ladies with curly hair bakes different cakes every morning (her cake with cream freshly squeezed orange juice as well as the round pastry with coconut and white chocolate were so delicious), they’re so delicious and made with love, really an unforgettable part of my Italian trip

The all-girls room is in the building next door. There are three rooms in total, two bathrooms and a large kitchen. I made pasta with simple ingredients. The four-person room I stayed in was very large

There were no bunk beds, and each person had a wardrobe. I think the front desk will try to arrange roommates of the same culture together when assigning rooms, so turning off the lights and sleeping is no problem

Each bed has a wall lamp that can adjust the brightness. The room has a window (Figure 1) facing the road, which is very noisy. I need earplugs to sleep well. The front desk Lisa is a German girl

The set up of the place was a little odd, it’s as if you’re staying in an apartment and then renting out individual rooms, so they each lock with a key but the fridge is for sharing out in the main area, as well as the reception is right out your door as if it were in like a “living room” of an apartment

The property is located centrally to visit most of the typical tourist sites in downtown Rome such as Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Coliseum, etc. Close to lots of dining options at various price points

Service was great though, due to the place I didn’t expect housekeeping and they did! They had a fridge with refreshments to buy, and just were overall very nice and lovely

The hotel itself was great and the staff even better, nothing was too much for them! Definitely recommend the breakfast which had delicious homemade food (especially the cakes) can't wait to return one day!

The location of the hotel is wonderful, the staff do above and beyond to make sure that you have a great stay, whatever it takes. Recommendations, reservations, etc. The free breakfast is delicious and plentiful
