Florence, Via Borgognissanti 8 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Location is also fantastic, about 10-15 min away by foot from most landmarks in the city centre. I highly recomand this hotel, we had a fantastic stay
Right at the centre of Florence. The city centre is few meters away. The water pressure in the shower is pretty low. Also some days water is not hot enough for a shower. Hotel is on the 2 nd floor in an old building
Great stay! Easy, friendly check in with locker storage after check out. The rooms were comfortable and quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean, simple and comfortable rooms in the heart of the ancient city center. The rooms are small but equipped with all comforts. The staff is friendly and professional. Very good quality-price ratio
Wonderful stay here, friendly service and clean room. I personally appreciate that everything was close by and within walking distances whether it’s a restaurant, cafés or sights to visits. Overall a great location!!
This is a family hotel in the centre of Florence, close to Arno's river, Florence's historical center and last but not least all fashion streets

Hotel lombardia was our favorite stay throughout our week in Italy. It is located in a great central area. The staff were kind and helpful as needed. The room was clean and comfortable
We loved the charm of the building and breakfast was great!
I slept very well and the location for perfect! I was nearby the train station, buses and the city itself is walkable. The breakfast was minimal but tasty and fresh. There is a server there for coffee making and clean up
I will say this stay is not ADA or accessibility friendly. It is a walk up building meaning there are 5 floors and no elevator. The staff allows baggage holding after check out as well
I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff took my bags up to the 4th floor upon check in. Everyday your room was cleaned. Yes the bed is two twin bed and this is normal in EU
Worked in a pinch but there’s better places Stayed here on short notice, it worked well enough but wouldn’t choose to stay here longer. They didn’t provide any soap, shampoo or anything else for the bathroom

Florence, Via Della Scala 48 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This place is in the perfect location. 2 blocks from the train station and 1/2 block to the inter-city bus station. City bus and laundromat right next door. Tons of restaurants close by and the River is 3 blocks away
Took a map and marked all the places that we needed to visit and also restaurants and the best gelateria. It really was one of the best that we had been to. Great location, about 3 minutes walk from the station
The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very polite and welcoming. There is no breakfast, but this is no problem since in every corner in Florence there are good bakery's and patisseries
The owner is amazing. He gives the best recommendations. Listen to him! The room was very clean and well maintained. Espresso pods everyday. Would stay here again for sure.
The best place to people watch is the Piazza Santa Maria Novella - just 3 blocks from the front door. The people who run it - Pierro and Marsala are the perfect hosts
Super inviting owners, big rooms, great price, and perfectly placed near the train station. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area!

Great hotel in the historical center with panoramic views of the city. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is on the top two floors of the building, but for us it was not a problem
It was quiet throughout the night, so I slept soundly. It's about a 10-minute walk from the tourist spots. The reception staff were friendly and it was a good value hotel
Very clean hotel. Very well located. The welcome is very good. The staff is friendly. Very good value for money.
Located in the historical center, walking distance to the main attraction. Friendly staff. Good basic breakfast. We stayed 6 ninght in April 2017.
Excelent service! breakfast so good! According with the price - Sandro is the best
The lights in the toilet and shower room didn't work, but it didn't cause any real harm. The single bed was a little small. The air conditioning worked well. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious

Tourist House, Florence1 / 19
8.5
Florence, Via della Scala, 1 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I like firm beds so this didn’t bother me but I could see where some might want more plush bedding. Location really can’t be beat. No elevator so you have to up stairs, and no 24 desk, use code after hours
My room was quiet except someone stomped around once above me, but only had that happen once for 5 minutes or so. I didn’t think there were floors above but there may be apartments above the hotel
Being 2 star, the furnishings are basic, but I’m not lounging around the hotel room when I’m traveling, I’m out and about. The bed was a foam mattress I believe and rather firm
Breakfast was typical for a hotel: yogurt, baked goods, coffee, etc. and was fine for a quick breakfast before heading out
Attached pics of views from balcony. Not much to see, but nice to have the option!
If you are planning a short stay in Florence and are looking for a convenient average hotel, Tourist House is a most appropriate option

Florence, Via Fiume, 17 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was clean, spacious, quiet and had a nice big bed! Lots of great free amenities including cold water and coffee! Was a great stay :) Really unsure why this is rated so low!
My stay at Hotel Duca D'Aosta was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The service provided by the staff was not only helpful but also incredibly kind
A lovely place to stay! All the staff we meet are super helpful. There are Gluten free options for breakfast. We enjoyed our cocktail in the evening. Very easy and very short walk to Porta Pretoria
A special thanks to Erika at the reception — she was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. While the lift is quite old, it didn’t affect my stay at all
The location of the hotel surpassed my expectations. Moreover, there was always coffee and water available for a break
I am pleasantly surprised by the level of service and attention to detail offered by Hotel Duca D'Aosta

Located just a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, this accommodation is also near the vibrant Mercato Centrale
Great location in the city centre and free Parking at the near end of the house in the night (all night leave) - since only spent the night, I will not say more.
starting with the lovely Eva, who gave us tips on how to get around Florence! The breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and varied! The rooms were cozy and had everything you need to make you feel at home
A nice short and comfortable stay in Florence. Location is perfect if traveling by train. Very clean and beautiful views
It offers a safe environment with attentive staff and features a generous breakfast buffet to start your day

Lovely little hotel very close to train station and city centre
The room was clean and has everything you need. Plus the AC works well and the windows are very good at keeping at the street noise. The AC unit did make a noise in the middle of the night
It is a great location and great space, no elevators but doable. Good AC and bed, staff was very nice, especially Julia was very helpful and super nice and welcoming.
But by then the room was cool enough. So we were able to turn it off and go back to sleep. Overall, a very good place to stay overnight and I would book it again
Staff was amazing Communication was gone Rooms were comfortable and good location right in front of a bus stop was perfect to hit up all the stops in Florence
The rooms are perfect but outside the hotel it felt dirty and unsafe because of the bus station

Florence, Via Ventisette Aprile, 14 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location, being so close to the city center, was fantastic!
The shower was funny, though it was small in the room, but we thought it would be shared. It probably depends on the season, and on the people around. We had a few people there, and they were quite quiet
It was a decent place to stay for a couple of days. The main thing was that it was clean. Check-in was easy and comfortable; there was a girl at the desk
The walls are very soundproof, so yes, privacy at the hotel is low
It was better than I thought. I was worried because the reviews said it was noisy, but it wasn't noisy at all and there was an elevator. It was really good for a 1-star hotel.
Very welcoming, room was small but lovely. So many great venues in in walking distance.

Located a few steps from the historic center, we really enjoyed our stay. Complete freedom to go out and come back. Really comfortable kitchenette for making coffee
It is close to the naples central and convenient. however, the area did not look very safe as there's a lot of people crowded /hanged out downstairs outside the building. Maybe that's because we arrived late, after 7
The room itself was clean, but quite small, and the facilities inside were old
Clean, spacious, but very minimalistic Clean, minimal stay in Florence Italy. Close to Florence Central Market, Cathedral, and other tourist spots. Run by a friendly and helpful couple
Functional accommodation in city centre Not so much a hotel - it's rented rooms on the top floor of an older style traditional property. Basic, but clean and functional, although the bathroom was small and rather tired
Najat was a very friendly and kind host and gave information of on what to do in the city. The hotel is located very centrally and easy to reach the historic sites, train station and airport

Florence, Borgo Santa Croce, 6, 50122 Florentsiya, Toskana, Italiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The staff were exceptionally friendly, always attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. From personalized recommendations to thoughtful gestures, they made us feel truly welcome
easy walking to all the major sites yet on a quiet, peaceful little street. I pity the poor traveler who books a hotel in the old town district and end up in the midst of the endless crowds and noise
Florence is a stunning city, but our stay at Palazzo Roselli Cecconi truly elevated the experience. The tower room, with its breathtaking views and elegant design, was absolutely magnificent
The building itself is not just a place to stay—it’s an architectural masterpiece, with its historical charm and intricate design reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Florence
The Palazzo was lovely and the rooms very large. Ours opened to a narrow set of stairs down or it would have rated five stars. But the room itself was elegant and spacious
Room was very modern with historic details, included breakfast was simple (fruit, yogurt, pastries) really good and more than adequate, service was extraordinary

La Maison du Sage, Florence1 / 28

Florence, Via Antonio Magliabechi 7 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location could not be better- close to the tourist sites, in the heart of restaurants and night life, but quiet in the room. Thank you for a fabulous experience. If we ever return to Florence, we will be back!
The location was right next to Santa Croce square which turned out to be particularly interesting because our time correlated with the Calicio finals (look it up; it's insane)
This hotel is nothing short of perfect. We stayed at five different properties during our two week tour of Italy and la Maison du sage stands out from all others
The hotel room was elegantly decorated with high ceilings and modern facilities. It was very clean, and the breakfast was exquisite and delicious, served in a tastefully designed dining area
The front desk service was excellent; they even helped me take my luggage to my room. My only regret is that I forgot to tip them at the time, which I only remembered afterwards
The location is perfect, right next to a charming little town. What's more, there's a big bathtub, which was a real treat! Outside, there are so many delicious food options nearby

Florence, Via dei Serragli 7 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Kinda felt like a medieval castle. Local area has really good and cheaper restaurants. And since it’s across the River (but only 2 blocks) everything is cheaper than in central Florence
A beautiful beautiful hotel with beautiful people. From everyone at reception, to room service, to Laura at the breakfast bar — every detail is considered with so much care
The hotel has lots of character and is well placed to see ‘tourist’ sites but also to escape the crowds. We would definitely return if revisiting Florence in the future or try one of their sister hotels
Quirky decor and warm, friendly staff making it lovely stay. Big rooms as well!
I absolutely adore Oltrarno Splendid! The room was fabulous (and spacious), the buffet breakfast was amazing, and the service was outstanding! Plus they made us espresso and cappuccinos on request! It was so close to the train station and everything we wanted to see, so we were able to walk the entire time
It’s wonderful to see art on all the walls, even the staff jackets are art. Rooms were huge, modern bathrooms, extremely clean, beautiful shared spaces, beautiful breakfast area

The place is in a quiet area with a park in front. It is a little far from the train station, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the tourist area. But it is a nice place if you want a quiet night
Wonderful stay at St James - safe walkable to everything - will stay again and recommend to everyone
Great location, walkable to all sites, friendly English speaking front desk person, responsive to our issues/concerns, clean, spacious rooms with tall ceilings & the housekeeping was great! We would definitely stay here again when in Florence, Italy
It was clean and near to historic places and train station. There was no fridge in the hotel.
The room was spacious and adequate for four people. Staff was amicable and room was overall clean. Location was very central and we walked to the Duomo in ten minutes
Wonderful hotel in a great location The room was a little small, but that wasn't a huge factor as we were pretty much only in the room to sleep, but having an elevator was a must for us as we're getting too old to be carrying luggage up stairs

Bathroom needed some maintenance but they were very helpful. Highly recommend staying here for a Central location in Florence where everything is within 15 minutes walking
Double room with terrace was great, but WiFi didn't quite reach some areas. We loved the other room we had on the alley side of the building where we could fully open the windows to see all the people and shops
Great place to stay in the middle of Florence. Walk down half a block to see the Duomo! Emilly was there to greet us at the agreed upon time and gave us keys to come and go as we please
We even came back a second time after visiting Rome and she allowed us to drop our bags off early so we could explore the city. Thanks for helping us schedule a taxi, too
There are planty of food places near you get real local food around and good price. And the place is 10 mins walk from station The rive n bridge shopping is 20 min walk
I suppose it is cheap and you can’t expect too much. Also it has an amazing location for the price. But, it is very noisy, a restaurant down stairs makes lots of noise into the very small hours

Florence, via delle Terme 6 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was exceptional and there is little that I can add that previous reviewers haven't. The location is outstanding and close to a lot of attractions that a first time visitor is keen to see
We arrived after hours, but Marco provided us with excellent instructions with photos on how to enter the building and arrive at our room
One thing to note, there's no elevator (lift) on the property and the rooms are up three flights of stairs. Take your time on the stairs, especially with luggage
The room was great! Cleaned daily with fresh towels and the staff was polite and professional. Everything is within walking distance
We were really satisfied with our apt. It’s really clean, spacious and convenient to all shopping area and important does. Marco and Alessio were so nice and easy to talk to. And enjoyed our stay in Florence
There was no parking provided but the host was able to guide us at the time of the booking that there is a secure parking garage only minutes away from the apartment, which we booked independently (for 40 Euros a day)

Florence, Via Calzaiuoli 13 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located from the central train Firenze Santa Maria Novella. It takes about 15 minutes to drag luggage. There are many shops along the way and it is a lively area
The hotel is located right near the Cathedral (the bells of the 7:00 make alarm to wake you up), then it is absolutely not far from the centre, and this makes it even more convenient
The staff are very friendly and readily available to help with any issues. Bottled drinking water provided in the hotel is the same price as outside. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back next time
Located right next to the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), less than a 2-minute walk away, this hotel is incredibly convenient. Everything is downstairs, and it's also very close to other attractions
The Uffizi Gallery is about 8 minutes away, and David's Cathedral is about 5 minutes away. The hotel offers self-service check-in and has an elevator

Highly recommended! Florence felt much cleaner and more fun than Rome! Also, it seems that hotels in Italy don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, combs, etc. , only basic toiletries and towels
Excellent Airbnb! Great location, walkable to many attractions. You can see the famous duomo right from your window. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, toilet was clean and warm
It was arguably the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Italy
We think that they were somehow getting through little cracks in the wood or something? An antihistamine and bug spray later, we were able to successfully not get bit by mosquitos for the last two nights of our stay
The room was incredibly clean and tidy, beautifully furnished, spotless, and the surrounding area was very safe and quiet at night. Hot water came out very quickly
Many people choose this place because of its location and breakfast view, but I think there are better options. The check-in counter has limited operating hours, so it's difficult to deal with unexpected accidents

A great hotel, kind of like a family-run guesthouse. The receptionists were all very friendly and nice, and it was very convenient to get around! I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance
The rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was good too
Secondly, at check-in, they thoroughly explained that the main door closes at 10 PM, after which guests should use their key for the side entrance, and they also covered the breakfast times
The hotel itself is compact but fully functional, offering convenience and a peaceful retreat despite its central and bustling location
Charming, spacious, and spotlessly clean, it's surrounded by popular attractions and offers a wide array of dining options.
First off, the location is excellent – just a ten-minute walk from the train station
