New Otani Inn Sapporo, Sapporo1 / 30
8.3
Sapporo, Nishi1-1, Kita 2, Chuo-ku 🧭 Map
Visiting Sapporo for snow festival. Great hotel, walking distance to festival, clock tower, train station and market. Very quiet which suit us well. We have great time.
We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. There is 1 convenience shop just beside it. The room is consider spaces in Japan. The toiletries can take from the lobby which is quite convenience. The hotel staff is friendly.
I use Go app to get to sapporo station. Sometimes just taxi to my destination. Odori park, sapporo clock tower and sapporo TV tower are within walking distance. Breakfast are ok.
Very nice hotel and convenient
Location is extremely good - we took a bus from Chitose airport and alighted at Monterey Hotel, which is 3-5 mins walk to New Otani Inn; it is also a short walk to TV tower, Clock Tower, Odori Park (all of these within 5-10 mins). Cleanliness is good anywhere in Japan I guess haha. Their staff can speak a little english and they used translation just to make sure they understand us correctly, effort...
The hotel is conveniently located nearby the train station and the rooms are comfortable. The staff was friendly and you can find many places to eat nearby. I’d recommend this hotel to any couples visiting Sapporo

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, with convenient access to transportation and a wide variety of dining options nearby. The hotel itself offers an abundant and professional breakfast service that truly stands out. What makes this hotel even more special is the thoughtful inclusion of a local Japanese facial cleansing brand in the amenities...
Nice hotel in a good area, 1/2 hour easy walk to the peace park.
Good hotel. Good location. Everything about it was nice! Cheers
The room was generally clean although there were a couple stains on the couch. The room was quiet which was a plus after a long day of sightseeing. We didn't use the onsen - but thought it was a good amenity to have on site. The room items (toiletries) were kept at the front desk, which helped limit the amount taken by certain guests overtaking products. We thought the location was decent, but still...
Having no idea why there are so many 5-star reviews. The location is good but that’s it. The room gives cheap and not-really-clean vibes. My skin was itchy after one night on these sheets. Also, they have a queue for the breakfast! I have visited more than 30 different countries and staid in many hotels but saw the breakfast queue for the first time in my life. And the waiting time was long! Around...
Good location and friendly staff. The room is spacious and clean. Only negative is small community bath. Too crowded.

APA Hotel Toyama Ekimae, Toyama1 / 28
7.5
Toyama, 88-2 Meirin-cho 🧭 Map
Me and my friend enjoyed staying here. It is a nice hotel in a good location. I recommend staying at this hotel
I know APA hotels aren't that fancy. There was still just a bit of grime in the hotel room. Especially the shower and bathtub in the room. Worth it for the price though. Especially considering it has an onsen too. Sadly I had no time to check out the bath facilities.
The room is a bit small but overall well-equipped and clean. The onsen is free and also has a sauna inside. It's only a five-minute walk from a train station and a ramen restaurant. There is not too much variety for breakfast though.
Better than what I have imagined, and good enough for me to give the recommendation to my friends.
8 minutes From station. Nice breakfast buffet. The service is good.
Great price... I love the convienece of APA's and the amenities here include breakfest and bathhouse/ofuro. It's made for overnight stays and has self parking.

Toyoko Inn Himeji-eki Shinkansen Kita-guchi, Himeji1 / 30High rating
9.3
Himeji, 52-2 Nishiekimaecho 🧭 Map
Best location with best service, really recommend people live in here
The hotel's location is pretty good, about a ten-minute walk from Himeji Station. There are some small eateries right outside the hotel, though they only open in the evening. Himeji Castle is also just about a fifteen-minute walk away. It follows the standard budget hotel model, offering a complimentary breakfast that's quite filling. The cleanliness was very good.
All Toyoko Inn hotels have the same layout, so you can relax with peace of mind. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a walk from the station. There are many casual restaurants and bars nearby, including izakayas.
It's a 5-6 minute walk from the station, with various restaurants right outside, and it's also very convenient to walk to the shopping street.
It is a 5-minute walk from JR Himeji and a 15-minute walk from Himeji Castle. It is very convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. The facilities are in line with Toyoko's usual standards, and the breakfast is also good.
The room was a bit too small, but it was still neat and clean. Because I checked in on a Saturday, there were too many people for breakfast on Sunday, so I hurriedly took some and went back to the room to eat. However, the breakfast can be packed, which is also very user-friendly.

Dormy Inn Kawasaki Natural Hot Spring, Kawasaki1 / 23
9.2
Kawasaki, 9-3 Higashidacho Kasawakiku 🧭 Map
The room was clean and the hot spring facilities were great. The ramen and popsicles in the evening were delicious. It's a shame the room rates are getting more expensive, so the value for money isn't as good anymore.
The room was really small, but it had everything we needed. The breakfast was good.
Great hotel, good location, excellent quality for three stars. The hot springs are worth it. Very good hot sauna almost 100°C I will stay in this hotel again when I travel to Kawasaki.
Dormy Inn corporation never disappoint with nice hot spring, evening ramen and morning breakfast. The only thing I would suggest is to Iron the pyjama or change out the older ones.
The hotel was away from station within 10 mins walk. Very convenient. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I love the massage chair a lot in the public area. Just 15 mins cycle can refreshing yourself especially after a long day walking. A lot of restaurants around the area. You can definitely find something good to eat. Highly recommended. Osaka, 3-12-10 Toyosaki, Kita-ku 🧭 Map
The room was clean and the location wasn't too far from the Umeda shopping district on foot. The price was reasonable, and they even stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The staff were also quite friendly. We bought a lot of things, so we sorted the packaging bags (paper, plastic, etc.) and left them neatly in the room. We noticed other rooms also had various packaging sorted and placed...
The hotel is overall OK, nothing that outright fails. However carpet is a bit worn. Pillow is not the usual medium soft fluffy type, some kind of beads inside, which me and my wife are not used to. The spare bed i slept on was too soft and gave me a bit of backache. All said, for the price, is what you can expect.
The hotel is just steps from Nakatsu Station, with a convenience store right next door. The location is excellent, the room was impressively spacious, clean, and quiet. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. A pleasantly surprising stay overall.
The hotel is new and a large, reputable establishment. The service is warm and attentive, and the rooms are well-equipped and very clean. Although the rooms are small, they are well-designed and perfectly functional. The location is convenient; it's a 200-meter walk to the subway station. Shopping is also easy, with the core Umeda shopping district just an 800-meter walk away, plus many convenience...
The location is fantastic, with plenty of options for dining, drinking, and shopping nearby. If you're staying in Umeda, I highly recommend it. It's also super convenient for airport transfers; the Hankyu Hotel stop for the airport bus to Kansai International Airport is only about a ten-minute walk away.
The location is great, just one subway stop from Umeda and very close to the station, probably within 300 meters. The hotel is a large building, feeling like a business-style hotel, but the rooms are a bit dated. In Japan, it's a case of 'small but perfectly formed,' with quite comprehensive facilities. Overall, considering the location, it feels like a good value for money option.

The place was great. Our room was nice and comfy. The location was nice.
Hotel was within walking distance to main shoppping area, close to peace park and very comfortable and quiet. I caught taxi to hotel from Shinkansen which is not expensive and you don’t have to carry your luggage around. I would stay here again.
The room was excellent, clean and bright, with a strong water flow in the bathroom; the bathtub filled up quickly. Two chairs by the window were very comfortable for enjoying coffee and the street view in the morning. Two things I was dissatisfied with: After staying two nights, they didn't clean the room, only changed the towels and bath towels, and required me to put my green card on the door—meaning...
The hotel is clean and environmentally friendly, and the location is excellent, with many restaurants and several department stores nearby, as well as close to Hiroshima's shopping district, making it very convenient! It would be even better if the breakfast offered more choices.

Super convenient location with a public bath. The room was quite spacious and the luggage storage was a lifesaver.
The location is incredibly convenient, right across from Tokyo Station, making it perfect for a layover in Tokyo. A pleasant surprise was the free happy hour, offering alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and soft drinks. For an 800-yuan hotel, what more could you ask for?
Very good service and polite personnel. only downside was windows had no sunlight coming in. impossible to know id it’s morning or dusk
Hotel is very conveniently located. Clean. Room a bit small but good enough for us.
The location of hotel is good and convenient to go MRT station. Nearby got a lot of restaurants and family mart.

Excellent location. Easy to find and get around from hotel. Warm reception and staff. Clean room. Will return again :)
Even though it's quite old, the service is excellent and very professional. The location is also good. I stayed for 2 or 3 nights, and overall it was decent 😌. Facilities: Average Cleanliness: Good Ambiance: Okay Service: Excellent
Old hotel, still using manual key but good enough and clean. Room is big enough for luggages to open and store. Location is superb across the Kyoto Station next to Kyoto Tower. The only minor thing to criticize is the aircon not that cold but still decent.
The rooms were decent, clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. The location is excellent, right across the street from Kyoto Station, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The only downside was parking; getting into the garage was a bit of a hassle as we had to wait for a lobby attendant to operate the elevator every time.
The hotel is very convenient and overall great.

Candeo Hotels Omiya, Saitama1 / 16

Saitama, 1-401-1 Sakuragi-cho, Omiya-ku 🧭 Map
There's a convenience store right opposite the hotel, which was super handy. Since I was staying in Omiya, I also popped over to Kasukabe to see the Crayon Shin-chan exhibits. The station is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Luggage lockers at Omiya station are 800 yen each, or you can leave your bags at the hotel, though that means a bit of a trek back and forth.
This hotel is great in every aspect. It's about a five-minute walk from Omiya Station exit, and all the facilities are well-maintained, especially the large public bath on the top floor. It has both indoor and outdoor pools, so it doesn't feel crowded even when there are many people.
The hotel's location isn't far from Omiya Station, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The triple room had two single beds plus a long sofa, which was about 0.8 meters wide. Rooms in Tokyo are generally a bit on the smaller side, but this one was still perfectly adequate. The location is super convenient, about 900m from Tokyo Station. There's a 7-Eleven just a two-minute walk downstairs, and it's really close to the subway entrance, making it incredibly easy to go shopping in Ginza.
The room space is decent; there's enough space to open a suitcase.
Room was smaller than expected for 3 people but overall decent stay
Room is adequately big enough for our family of 3.  Located near to subway stations and shopping cum restaurants.
First time we stayed in this hotel and explored the location which is surrounded by good restaurants and convenience stores. We like the area and the hotel room is decent. It will be great if the hotel has onsen facilities.
Although the price is comparable to the nearby hotel, we were quite disappointed to find that there was no water bottle giveaway. The space was also quite small for the price charged.

Nice hotel. Near restaurant area. next to train station. Nice staff. The most I love is... smoking room. Good price for Osaka.

One of the better APA hotels we have stayed at. We were originally in a smoking room. But they were able to switch us to a non-smoking room. We were very pleased with the rest of our stay there. Great location all in all and close to everything in the area.

I stayed at APA Hotel Osaka Tenma for three nights and had a very positive experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in despite the city lights. The room amenities were excellent: the air conditioner worked quietly, the TV had a good selection of channels, and...
It's close to Tenma Station, making it convenient for sightseeing and travel. The Tenma Station shopping street is the longest in Japan and has many unique shops, making it a fun place to visit any time of the day. Personally, I prefer walking around Dotonbori or Tsutenkaku.
Although I was late in checking in, I was grateful that you contacted me and dealt with the matter courteously. My friend and I had booked different methods and at different times, but on the day of the trip we were given rooms next to each other, so we were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind.
Enjoyed the public bath and also strategic location
I've stayed at different APA hotels and have had mixed experiences. This time around, I wanted to stay at one with a sentō, which has an ok size but was overall nice. However, the quality of the bed was lacking: the mattress felt like it was coming apart and not providing enough support on one side, and quite hard on the other, and the pillows were terrible. Beppu, 5-17 Chuo 🧭 Map
Clean room and convenient location, convenience store right opposite of the hotel. The room is spacious as well. We were lucky to have a room that can see the fireworks from our hotel room window. It was a nice stay.
Everything was very good, except the temperature in the room, because it’s super warm in winter, and it can’t be controlled in the room. Hotspring was very nice!
Kim at the front desk was very nice and helped us with changing to non smoking room without much hassle. Deserve 5 stars
The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.
Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.
The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The room didn't have much of a view and you could hear the train. The onsen and breakfast areas were very crowded. This Kamenoi wasn't as good as the one we stayed at previously in Toba. The hot springs in Beppu are definitely worth visiting!
