Izumisano Center Hotel, Izumisano1 / 26
8.7
Izumisano, 1-10-37 Takamatsuhigashi 🧭 Map
The room was incredibly spacious, and being on a high floor was a plus for our family of three. The front desk staff were very welcoming; even with my limited English, checking in was a breeze. We stayed here for a layover, which gave us plenty of time to explore the outlets. We even found a nearby fishing tackle shop where we bought the fishing rod my child wanted. It was my first time trying this...
Izumisano Center hotel is near the metro station, it is convenient.
This is my go-to hotel every time before I leave Japan. It's super convenient with a large supermarket nearby. If you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk, there's an even bigger supermarket, or you can take a taxi to the Aozora market area to browse and buy some fresh seafood.
It’s quite close to the Izumisano Station, but if you come to this hotel and enter through the back door, you’ll be welcome with an empty floor (probably that is considered as ground floor). Don’t be scared, just look for an elevator and walk upstair, that’s where the receptionist is located. They can’t speak English that well, so just be ready to show the passport of the person who booked the hotel...
Everything was fine, they have the shuttle buses to the airport for free, room was clean, warm, recommend
The dining photos are very misleading, it's nothing similar to that. The breakfast was very disappointing and more reminded us of a very poor college dorm style canteen.

Hakata Green Hotel No.1, Fukuoka1 / 29
9.1
Fukuoka, 4-4 Hakata-eki Chuo-gai 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was quiet, clean, and well-equipped. It's small, but perfect for a solo traveler.
The single room was spacious enough for one person and had everything you need. It also had a microwave and washing machines on some floors. The location was great, just behind the Central Station. The best part was that you could check in at 1pm and check out at 12pm which is better than almost every other hotel. Checkout was also a seamless process
Although the room was small, it was well-equipped, clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part is its great location, just a 3-minute walk to the station, which is incredibly convenient. The ginkgo trees outside are also beautiful.
Second time staying at this hotel and booked this again for my family trip this round! Really wonderful hospitality from the hotel staff and the 1pm check in timing was helpful for us to rest after a red eye flight. Hotel room is very clean and has all the basic necessities provided. Coin laundry and vending machines are available at alternate levels too.
I had a great stay at Hakata Green Hotel No. 1. The location was convenient, the room was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my experience and would happily stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel ten years ago and absolutely loved it! When I visited Fukuoka again, I chose it because of its excellent cleanliness, which I'm still very satisfied with. The surrounding area is also convenient for getting around, and it's close to the subway station. However, perhaps due to the current situation, I felt the front desk service has declined significantly compared to a decade...

Nagasaki, Goto-machi 5-45 🧭 Map
Toyoko Inn always my first choice of admocation.
We stayed for 2 nights at the end of March. The main plus is the location: the hotel is literally right next to Nagasaki Station, which is convenient for transfers and generally as a base for exploring the city. There's a tram nearby, shops, everything is very compact. We were given a room on the 7th floor in the new building, typical for the Toyoko Inn chain: small, but clean and functional. It...
My first time trying Toyoko Inn, I thought I'd see it right outside Nagasaki Station, but it was actually a seven or eight-minute walk. The service is very standardized; check-in and check-out are done via machines, but there are staff members on hand to assist. Breakfast is very simple, but the room itself is pretty good, with a sufficiently large desk. The room has minimal decor, simple and neat...
The breakfast buffet, while not as extensive in variety or quantity as in more expensive hotels, was actually a plus. I didn't overeat or get overwhelmed by choices, and it was perfectly satisfying. It was also great to have free lockers in the lobby that I could use after checking out.
Nice location for shopping and sightseeing. The room at new apartments newly built or renovated is big and clean. Nice free coffee at the lobby. We have a great vacation and relax days.

Naha, 1-4-16,Matsuyama 🧭 Map
There was a large public bath, which was nice.
The location on Kokusai Street was quite convenient. I was also very satisfied with the large communal bath. However, disposable amenities like toothbrushes weren't automatically provided, so I had to request them directly from the front desk.
The bathroom had a moldy smell and didn't feel clean. I'm sensitive to smells so it didn't feel very good.
The APA Hotel Naha is a beautiful hotel made for exactly what you need. Especially if you're here for a business trip or pleasurable stay. The price are very affordable. If you would like to stay in the Naha area with the great shopping during the day. The night life in this area is just as close! Right on the beginning of Matsuyama, located next to a 7 Eleven 24 hours so cheap food and drinks are...
Good and clean also cheap. They've got world wide BBC news which was quite amusing. Totally worth the stay.

Fukui, Ote 3-12-20 🧭 Map
I booked this hotel for the Fukui Marathon. Its location couldn't be more perfect, right downstairs from the start and finish lines, making it ideal for pre-race rest and post-race recovery. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but it has everything you need. It was a pleasant travel experience overall.
Lobby is grand and great area, check in service is fast, smooth and patient for serving. Lobby contain a 24-hr shop for us buying snack. Room is clean, big and window can sightseeing city view, great. Bed is comfortable, hotel provide types of pillow for selection , comfortable for sleeping well.
Perfect stay! A varied breakfast with a beautiful view. A cozy room.
I really enjoyed the night at Hotel fujita Fukui. The staff are so nice and the room was nice as a single room. They would not allow early check-in, but you can leave your luggage there. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Fukui station by walk.
The room was small, but clean and well renovated. It is a bit far from the train station. After checking-in, don't forget to grab some amenity kits from the front desk area.
Overall good but the 1st night was below expectations because the power Supply was not working

After Okinawa, where I stayed in a quiet area, this area seemed very lively. The room was clean, just as described. All toiletries were provided, as well as a hairdryer, iron, kettle, TV, and air conditioning. Everything worked perfectly. The staff greeted me with a smile, even though I arrived late. I can recommend this hotel for more than just a one-night stay. It's within walking distance of various...
It's located in Tenmonkan so there's no problem finding somewhere to eat. It was clean and check-out was at 11am so I was able to relax.
The hotel is very close to the planetarium. There are bars and the like downstairs at night, but it's not noisy.
Nice and clean well maintained, good location, good service, clean
It’s a good location, the room is average, the staff can speak English well. The only complaint I have is their WiFi signal, it is so weak it’s not usable.
High value for money. There were self-service laundry, vending machines and best of all, buffet-type breakfast that was very yummy. It's situated at downtown Kagoshima where there were tons of restaurants, grocery stores, café and shopping mall. Recommendable.

Premier Hotel Cabin Asahikawa, Asahikawa1 / 30

Asahikawa, 1 Jodori-7 Chome 🧭 Map
The room was really small and the hotel itself was quite old. There's a hot spring bathhouse on the basement level, which is convenient for showering, and toiletries can be picked up for free in the lobby, which is well-stocked. There's a self-service laundry room on the ground floor; washing and drying are separate, and the dryer isn't very efficient, so plan your laundry time accordingly. The restaurant...
1 night in Asahikawa, this hotel easily to get there but you have to park opposite side of hotel if hotel not free( I guess or maybe if you stay more than 1 night might be can park at the hotel area) big hotel. Room is okay, there is a window but cannot open. Heater not easy to open. Overall is okay. There is onsen inside hotel. Breakfast is good and nearby Aeon department store and food restaurant
The room was incredibly small, uncomfortably so. The Ctrip interface stated that breakfast was free for children aged six and under, but upon check-in, the staff tried to charge us 900 yen for our six-year-old's breakfast. We had to argue with them to get it waived. This wasn't a great experience. Additionally, the room didn't have bottled water, and when we asked the front desk, they first asked for...
Love this place. Location, staff, services, breakfast are good and beyond the standard
The hotel room was really old and the bed was very thin. It was just okay for an overnight stay. The two single beds couldn't be pushed together. The hotel has central air conditioning, but they also provided a small fan, which was quite thoughtful. The only thing worth five stars was the breakfast, it was absolutely fantastic!
It's about a 500-600m walk from JR Asahikawa Station, which isn't far, and the surrounding facilities are convenient. However, dragging luggage through the snow was truly a killer! Since I was staying alone, the room size was perfectly adequate. On the first floor, you can pick up lotions, hair care products, and more. There's also a natural hot spring bath, but due to personal reasons, I wasn't able...

The room was basic, but the spa was amazing. Large and a lot of stuff to do. Good dining options in the complex.
I've been here a few times. The baths and saunas are the best. I also like that the sauna has free rock baths and you can always use clean towels as much as you like. There are so many types of baths that time flies by. However, I always get a plan with meals included, so I think it would be nice if the food could be varied. Last time, the sashimi was lukewarm, which was disappointing. I'd be happy...
It's very good. It has everything to eat, drink and have fun, especially the hot springs. There are many pools and open-air pools.
This natural hot spring is a volcanic hot spring that flows from Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka, and has a beautiful sea view. It's a place you can easily enjoy with your family and friends! It's a great place to go to release the fatigue and stress from work.

Located next to Main Shopping Mall of Matsuyama. Rich and delicious breakfast. Hotel rooms neat and clean.
Pros: It has all the necessary amenities and services. Water dispenser on every level, coin laundry (2 in 1) which can pay using IC card, located right across from the entrance to Okaido with Matsuyama Castle behind the hotel. Good hotel, have breakfast, good location near the airport
Very close to the airport. No need to go out side when walking from airport. Get directly to the hotel.
:) Location was excellent as it is connected and sheltered to the airport directly within a very short walking distance. There was trolley provided in the hotel to use to push your luggage to the airport. There's also free shuttle bus service to Aeon Mall and Pottery Town. :( Amenrities didn't include facial cleanser and milk lotion.
Near to airport. Convenient and clean. Breakfast is simple but enough for a quick bite before morning flight.
Best point is 3 mins walk from hotel to airport departure hall is awesome good for limited budget travel and free parking during your stay 10 mins drive to the cloest town with Aeon Style (Mall with Hot Spring) is great for dinning and shopping Room is a bit small (20m sq), but all basic supplied

The room was very dusty. The mattress was uneven, because no one sleeps on the side against the window; it should be turned to ensure it's used evenly. The onsen water was too hot. The changing room in the onsen is very small and half of the lockers are without keys or unusable.
Small little business hotel, if you are couple of good friends then you can adjust else take 2 seperate rooms. After 3 days they change and clean mattress and room Public bath, spa, big tv, all towels, shaving kit almost everything provided
Stayed in the hotel for a few nights. As is to be expected, the rooms are tiny. Tiny, meaning there is just the bed; a small table; not really enough room to move between the table and the bed; and a toilet. There are also only a few elevators (and no stairs), so it might take some time to get down if you happen to have a room in the upper floors and lots of people are using the elevators - especially...

The hotel is spotless, the customer service is excellent, and it’s definitely worth recommending for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
I've forgotten the exact location, but I think it was about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and 10-20 minutes to Shinjuku's shopping area. However, it was pretty good value for money if you stay on a weekday. This was my second time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and the fully self-service, contactless check-in using my passport at the machine was incredibly convenient. Japanese hotels have very...
Overall, this is probably the best value-for-money hotel in the Shinjuku Kabukicho area. I stayed here six years ago and I'm back again! The room size and cleanliness are pretty standard, similar to other budget hotels. The main thing is that for this price, breakfast is included, and there's a good variety of options with decent taste. It's much better than having to buy rice balls every morning myself
The room itself was pretty standard, typical business hotel style. The surrounding area is quite noisy, but that's to be expected since it's in Kabukicho. I felt a bit uneasy walking around at night due to safety concerns, but thankfully, I only stayed one night, so it was manageable!
The hotel location is good, very close to Shinjuku, but the room is really tiny. We couldn't even open two suitcases. Even though it's small, it has everything you need. The price was quite high, so the value for money is just okay.

Since I was staying overnight, I just needed a room where I could sleep, so a small room was fine. The best thing was that the large public bath and open-air bath were spacious and clean, and were great for soothing my cold body. I was surprised that most of the staff were foreigners, but they had studied Japanese thoroughly and I thought the service was adequate.
Breakfast was okay. The breakfast was not a buffet, but a choice of one plate or curry, and rice and soup were free to refill. It was a one plate meal, but it was very filling.
Most of the nearby restaurants close around 10 PM, so I recommend eating before heading in. If you haven't eaten, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so you'll have to walk about 10 minutes. The hotel parking lot is small, so you'll have to use a nearby paid parking lot, which costs 2,000 yen per night. I hope this helps!
The location is quite far away from down twon; We booked twin room with two single beds while they gave us a single room with two beds, it makes the room becomes so tiny and we are unable to open our suit cases. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is great. It's super convenient, less than 10 meters from the subway exit. They have everything you could possibly need, so you don't have to bring a thing. I had a wonderful stay!
The room was okay, but the space around the bed was too cramped, with no separation in the middle, making it feel a bit tight. As for cleanliness, there were fruit pits left by the previous guest right where the slippers are kept, which really grossed me out. I hope they can be more thorough with their checks. Thanks!
