APA Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi Ekimae, Tokyo1 / 26
8.9
Tokyo, Nishia Asakusa 1-2-3, Taito-ku 🧭 Map
I stayed at APA Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi-Ekimae and overall had a very good experience. The room is indeed quite small, but this is something to be expected at this price point in Tokyo, especially in such a convenient and central location. Considering the cost and the city, I found it reasonable and acceptable. Although compact, the room is well designed and efficiently laid out, with everything...
Location great right near station entry for ginza line. Service is friendly place is clean and well presented. Rooms are compact but cosy and comfortable. Check in is done via a machine due to reno. Towels done daily and housekeeping. Amenities in room are great also. We got two rooms for 4 people side by side though it is never guaranteed.
Everything was good except for the breakfast included. Can't get coffee refill. 500+ yen for 2nd cup
The room is clean, the staff are nice, the amenities are good, and the price is worth it.
Nice hotel in Asakusa, located in a nice neighbourhood, very close to various grocery stores. The hotel rooms have a private fridge and airconditioning.
Nice and cozy hotel in the center of Asakusa. Near the metro and the temple. The position is really the strength point of these hotel. The room are really small but clean and equipped with every thing needed. I would highly recommend it for who want a bed for visiting the city a couple of days.

8.8
Narita, 906 Hanasaki-cho 🧭 Map
The hotel is very near to the station. About 3 min walk. There's also an onsen available in the hotel.
I used this hotel for an overnight stay before my international flight. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk from Keisei Narita Station! The room was clean, and there's a public bath which was great for warming up. The service was impeccable.
This hotel was super convenient, being very close to Keisei Narita Station. However, getting to JR Narita Station felt like a bit of a detour. The room was perfectly adequate in size. I also really enjoyed the large public bath, it was very relaxing. My only complaint was the mattress on the bed; it was quite soft and my back sank in a lot, which personally I didn't like and I didn't sleep very well...
Very small hotel and i dont think it was super clean like Japanese standard. They gave me a smoking room. But the bus shuttle driver lady was very professional and polite.
The hotel has a great location. There's a Lawson convenience store right next door, and a shuttle bus service to the airport. You can also walk to Aeon Town Narita-Tomisato, which isn't far.
For those with early morning flights, there's a direct connection from the station to the hotel. It's only a 5-minute train ride to the airport, super convenient!

Mount Fuji is right outside the window. The facilities are comprehensive, the transportation is convenient, and it offers great value for money.
Excellent, highly recommend! You can see Mount Fuji, definitely a thumbs up. I recommend booking a room with a mountain view. The room was clean, simple, and efficient—thumbs up! Check-in was super fast, big thumbs up!
Very ideal location — just a 3-minute walk from Shinkansen Shin-Fuji Station. The staff were helpful and friendly, able to answer all our questions using a language translator device. Breakfast was tasty, and while there weren’t many varieties, it was filling enough that we could skip lunch. The room by Toyoko Inn is very standard (what u see is what u get from the booking page) all items in the room...
This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed...
Our room is on highest floor with great mt Fuji view  It’s as per our request  Thank you so much 🙏 Breakfast with variety choices 👍👍
Fantastic hotel. Directly next to Shin-Fuji Station. My room type allows me to have amazing view of Mt Fuji, I would recommend you to stay more than 2 nights to increase your chance of having clear view of Mt Fuji as sometimes the clouds could get in the way. Rooms itself is spacious even for 2 adults. It is very clean and breakfast is free for everyone regardless of room types. Check in and check...

APA is very reasonably organized and well managed , providing all the necessities to travellers . I booked a bigger room and as usual it is clean and thoughtfully designed . It's a bright room with enough lights . There's a spa/onsen and I enjoyed it. I love the beddings, they made me sleep like a baby! Location is good, walking to SAPPORO TANUKIKOJI SHOPPING STREET only takes a few minutes. Everything...
I love this place, tried the breakfast on the last day of my stay.. Foods variety was good enough. I used the spa(public hot bath, and also open air public bath), and i really like the temperatures, vibes and facilities inside Room was also very clean and tidy.
Extremely old, not really liked the place, but the staffs are okay.
At the begging the front desk was super helpful and we're not queue to do the check in. It was a room for 4 people and they only gave us 1 key, was very problematic to manage that situation. The bed and amenities were good enough but the carpet was hideous. The location is very comfortable and you can walk anywhere in the downtown.
Reasonable price. Very clean. Good noise insulation in the room. Good amenities
There are two buildings in apa hotel sapporo, the older looking building had super dirty and rundown rooms. Make a request to get the new rooms.

APA Hotel & Resort Hakata Ekihigashi, Fukuoka1 / 8
8.5
Fukuoka, 1-18-1 Hakataekihigashi 🧭 Map
This hotel is pretty standard for a cheap Japanese business hotel experience, so no complaints about the amenities, but they still use physical keys for the hotel rooms, and they ask that you leave the key with the front desk every time you leave the hotel which is pretty annoying.
Room: Small, but cheap and very clean. Not really enough sockets for the number of things you need to charge these days. Service: The hotel let me leave my suitcase with them both before and after check-in and check-out. They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card....
Very near to Hakata station, 10-15 mins walk away. Room was clean and had all the 'necessary' in room amenities.
Nice and clean. Rooms are small but it has everything. Very compact so it's good for one or two nights' short stay with minimal luggage.
Service was great, and room is clean, but the building and it's room definitely shows it's age.
Compared to a UK station it’s amazing. Compared to other Japanese stations such as Shin-Osaka it’s just very good. Great food options and as a station has great connections and friendly staff

We stayed here for 2 nights during a late summer. The hotel located closed by Toys Kingdom, which is convenience for our purposed. The room we selected equipped with toys, and that our kids quite like it! The room was quite dated while most of facilities works perfectly. At first I really couldn't find the main door. I thought I had to take the stairs to carry my luggage up, but I ended up taking the elevator from the hot spring area to the second floor and walking through the overpass to the main building to check in! The environment is very beautiful and the soup is also good!
The place overall it's quite good, especially with the food and shinkansen package. My biggest complaint are the beds which are terrible, uncomfortable, and really messed up my back. Everything else could be awesome but at the end of the day it's a hotel and if the beds are terrible it loses out on a couple stars.
Great Hotel with lots of amenities for kids and adults. There are 3 different restaurants that you can choose , Japanese style , Foreign style and an open buffet. Nearbybthere is a very big Kids entertainment park with animals and toys. Restaurants starts from 8 pm and you can enjoy the hot springs( inside the hotel). before the Restaurant.
Dinner buffet is lots of delicious cooks Including japan local ,Chinese dumpling, desserts, ice cream And then you can enjoy hotspring to relax the tour tiredness and also go to the forest to absorb the energetic air . If you go to japan and come here Don't miss the fulfill comfortable atmosphere hotel.

Tokyo, 3-19-8, Kotobuki Taito City 🧭 Map
Very convenient stay with automatic check-in. There are lockers available for luggage storage, which is really helpful. The room is spacious enough to fit two 28inch suitcases comfortably. Great location just a 2minute walk from Tawaramachi Station and close to Asakusa Temple. Highly recommended!
Good location, easy to check in, comfortable, clean, got family mart below hotel, very convenient
It’s just a hotel to stay, we picked it because we booked quite last minute and it was cherry blossom period so this was the most reasonable price. Nothing much to talk about. Just an average place to stay. Small rooms
This is a chain hotel, and I've stayed at their Kyoto location before. They offer self check-in, and rooms are generally cleaned every three days, though you can get fresh towels daily. It's conveniently located near several subway stations, with the Ginza station just over 200 meters away. There's also an observation deck on the top floor with some nice views.
It was a great experience staying here at Henn na Hotel Premier Asakusa Tawaramachi. Very accessible to different restaurants, shopping centers specially donki and also to transpo like the train. Love staying here! Also it was a great choice because there’s a conbini store (family mart beside and 7/11 across the street)
The location is fantastic, very close to Tabata-machi subway station, and Asakusa Station is just about a 10-minute walk away. You can also get to both major airports directly from Asakusa Station without any transfers.

HOTEL ATE DOWNNNN WORTH THE PRICE AND THERE WAS FREE AMENITIES ON THE FIRST FLOOR??? SLAY???
Room is a bit dusty, front desk staff a bit cold, otherwise location and the free beverages and snacks are just great !!
Nice hotel with good amenities and very convenient location but the room can be very small and the staff at the reception hardly speaks English and not as friendly as one will expect.
Nice to have welcome drinks and foods. Room size is just suitable. General breakfast like most hotels but it has some Fukuoka signature dishes. Of course it’s not like those signature restaurants but more like home-cooking taste.
The room is too small. There's no place to open up our luggages at all. Overall the room is very clean but the carpet & quilt were very old. The maruhati pillows were excellent.
Loved my stay here. Amenities include face and hair treatment for the women ❤️ There's coin laundry, vending machine and microwave oven. Welcome drinks and snacks available from 3 to 11pm. Location is a minute walk from Nakasu station.

There are many shops (convenience stores, restaurants) nearby, so I use this hotel because it's in a good location. I was working in my room until after 11:00 in the morning, so I put up the "No cleaning required" sign. After that, when I went out, I removed the sign. I didn't mind if my room hadn't been cleaned, but when I returned at night, it was nice and clean, so I was happy. Thank you for your...
The room was nice, although the price was a bit high during the National Day holiday. The environment was pleasant, and the room had a small refrigerator. The hotel didn't have a microwave, which made me feel safer.
Close to the metro and train station, but a bit of a walk. The view from the window is of a wall, and the room is quite cramped, but fine for a short stay.
I stayed at Cros Wave Umeda and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent — just about a 10-minute walk from Osaka Station. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Hotel is so clean and newly rennovated. We are happy with our stay with them, and its value for money! Love their shuttle bus as it’s so iconic!
This is my second time staying here. The shuttle from Maihama to the hotel is super convenient, and there's also a direct bus from Haneda Airport. Plus, the shuttle to Disney is very handy. There's a Lawson convenience store at the Hilton, about 200 meters away, which is great for grabbing snacks. It's a fantastic choice for a Disney trip.
The environment here is great, and it's really close to Disneyland. Getting around is super convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. They also offer a shuttle service to Disneyland and the subway station, which makes exploring the area a breeze. The rooms are quite spacious, and the service is good. Plus, there's a supermarket and a bakery right downstairs.
The hotel's location is excellent, with a convenient and charming shuttle bus service to Disneyland. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the room isn't too small, which is typical for Japanese hotels. The lobby has a great ambiance and even includes a Disney store. All the hotel staff are very pleasant. It's a great choice for a Disney trip.
HeWe chose this hotel because it’s located within the Tokyo Disney Resort area, making it very convenient to visit both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. We stayed for two nights and overall had a great experience. The room was extremely spacious — the largest we stayed in during our entire Tokyo trip. The in-room amenities were impressive as well. They provided bath salts, face masks, and even heat...
This is an excellent alternative to staying at Disneyland. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is excellent. You can't get a straight transaction between the hotel and Disneyland You need to take the shuttle bus to a stop, then take the Disneyland train to Disneyland. This is quite inconvenient.

Hotel location is good - near major transport hubs. Service staff helpful & attentive. Negative is Aircon/heater centrally controlled- so we were unable to control the temperature in our room. It was too warm for our comfort.
You might want to think twice about this one. It's located near a railway line, and even rooms on the 10th or 20th floor that face the tracks can be affected. The constant banging and clattering of trains on the rails (and because it's a railway, not a metro/light rail, trains run even in the middle of the night) can be quite disruptive. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider....
The hotel is very close to Osaka Station, just a 5-minute walk. They provide amenities like toner, lotion, facial cleanser, and makeup remover, so you don't need to bring your own. Breakfast is served on the 23rd floor with a wide variety of options and amazing views.
This hotel never fails. My third time using the hotel. It is a good location, good room and comfortable bed.
The room was a bit larger than I expected, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also very quiet, making for an overall good experience. The front desk service was excellent and very professional. The location is also quite good, very close to the station.

The location is absolutely excellent. Highly recommend Hotel Kansai for solo travelers! The best part is the easy access—you can use the underground Whity Umeda walk (Exit M14) to avoid the rain and crowds. It’s right in the heart of the action, so you can explore the Umeda Sky Building or Hep Five and be back in your room in minutes. Simple, clean, and perfectly situated for anyone who wants to spend their time exploring rather than commuting
I stayed at Hotel Kansai for four nights. Overall, the room was pretty good — comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very small, but that’s fairly standard for Japan, so no real surprise there. I frequently stay at this hotel! The renovated rooms are great and very comfortable! It's also quiet! Perfect for a solo traveler! The front desk service is good too! A special shout-out to the breakfast – it's absolutely delicious! Eating a hearty breakfast and starting a beautiful day is a great choice! I recommend choosing a higher floor for excellent views!
easy check in and check out. able to keep my luggage before check in at 1500
The room was very clean; although a bit small, it had everything we needed. The breakfast was plentiful, especially the Chinese food options. The location is excellent, very close to JR Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation very convenient. There are also many pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, so finding places to eat or shop for groceries was a breeze.
The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Umeda and Osaka Station. The facilities are basic, but it's clean enough, especially considering the price. If your trip mainly involves just coming back to the hotel to sleep, it's perfectly adequate. After a long day of exploring, that moment of lying down is truly wonderful.

The hotel was nice and precisely located near Ueno stations and Ueno Okachimaci stations. The only downfall is not the size but the hygienist of the room. Upon check in I found several hair (woman hair) on the bed.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great, near to metro and JR station. Ameyoko market is just less than 5 minutes walk away. Right outside the hotel, there's a Lawson, Burger King, a NewCity supermarket, and various dining spots. It's perfect for getting to Kamakura, Shibuya, and Ginza easily.
Stayed here again. It's an older hotel, decent and reliable, with breakfast included. There's a direct connection to the subway station right outside, which is super convenient. And the cleanliness is, as always with Japanese hotels, impeccable.

I've stayed here dozens of times over the years. The location, accessibility, and value for money are the main reasons I keep coming back. While the standard rooms are indeed quite small, typical of Japan, and the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. Overall, it's a good choice!
Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient. Would stay again!
This hotel does not have air conditioning. It is ideally located but very average. Not so clean for a Japanese hotel. For the sane price choose another hotel
