Sapporo, 1-1, Minami 7-jo Nishi 5-chome, Chuo, 064-0807 Sapporo, Hokkaydo, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms considered big compared with rooms in Tokyo. Just a bit distance walk from Susukino . The hotel is clean and there is a lot of convenient store nearby. The hotel keeps our luggage for one night and after we back from Noboribetsu we check in again for another 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay here.
The room was clean, comfortable, and great value for the price. The facilities were good and everything was well organized.
A decent hotel, impeccably clean, and quite spacious. We booked two double beds for our family of three, and the price was also very reasonable. The only downside is that it's quite a distance from the JR station, about a 10 to 15-minute walk. Plus, the surrounding area is full of host clubs, which isn't ideal when traveling with children.
Spacious hotel, but only stay for 1 night due to other hotel no room early flight and no chance to have their breakfast serve. Slight far away from the train station.
The best hotel in Susukino, is always my go to option when I’m there
The location is a bit far from the subway station, but acceptable. It can be tiring if you're dragging luggage. The front desk service was very enthusiastic. There were hairs on the floor in the room. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area and is very spacious, which I absolutely loved. There are also many dining options downstairs, and it's not far to walk to Nakajima Park. Very good overall

Sapporo, 2 Chome-8-1 Kita 2 Jonishi, Chuo, 060-0002 Sapporo, Hokkaydo, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is good, not far from the main commercial district. Sapporo city itself isn't that big, so there's no need to choose a hotel near Sapporo Station unless it's during the snowy season.
Facilities: The overall design is simple and elegant, and the room is quite spacious. The only thing that's a bit hard to comment on is the placement of the sink; everything else is fine.
Very good location. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast with 2 options to choose from. Clean and well maintained room.
The hotel’s location was great, in between Sapporo and Odori station. Was easy to get to places we wanted to go and around the main visiting places as well.
This was the hotel I regretted booking the most on this Japan trip. The location wasn’t very convenient it’s quite a walk to the station if you’re dragging luggage, and it’s also a bit far from the shopping streets. The worst part was that housekeeping only came once every three or four days, including basic things like making the bed. That made the stay quite uncomfortable.
This hotel is very near to both JR Sapporo and Sapporo subway station, within 10 min walking distance.
Also, it is easy to walk to Tanikokuji / Susukino street, as well as Odori park.
In terms of facilities, beds are good for 2 people, and well equipped with fridge, hot shower, etc. And it also have public laundry machines, vending machines, book lounge, last but not least the most significant one...
stayed at JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo from 13–17 February 2026, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Sapporo Station, which made getting around very easy. Even though the city was beautifully blanketed in snow, the roads were well maintained and accessible, so walking to and from the station was not an issue.
The room was cosy, comfortable, and...

The location is great. Staff can speak English quite well and very helpful. No lotion in bathroom which is strange in Japan. No bathtub, but there is a public bath.
I had a very pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo. The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making it very easy to get around, especially with luggage.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth.
Overall, it was a good stay and I would...
Hotel is fairly new and clean with spacious rooms, well designed. There is a lounge on level 2 and public large bath! Breakfast doesn’t have too many choices but Is of top quality and delicious .
The hotel is newly decorated and quite new now. The location is good and closed to Sapporo JR station.
However, the room is a bit small for three luggages.
I have to give a big shout-out to the hotel's service! The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped. The location was convenient, yet quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. It was a very satisfying stay!
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the JR station, and there are many convenient shopping and dining options nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room size is just right, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Highly recommended.

Location was excellent. Very close to the bus stop for buses arriving from Chitose airport and noboribetsu. Easy walk to Sapporo station.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Onsen was nice, although I don’t think it’s mineral onsen water. More of a hot water public bath but it was fun and relaxing nonetheless.
They have a library of popular manga in Japanese.
Room was clean and comfortable and had everything...
Excellent stay! The hotel is convenient and easy to access, with great transportation links. It's also very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, even bowing. There's a large public bath and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) on the basement level. It's super convenient for getting to the JR station and exploring Aomori at night.
The room isn't huge, but it's big enough to fit two 28-inch suitcases. The sink is outside the bathroom. The hot spring pool downstairs is tiny and I wouldn't recommend it – it didn't seem very clean and had a lot of hair in it. The hotel's location is decent, quite close to Exit 24 of Sapporo Station, and there's a convenience store nearby. There's also a good set-menu restaurant right next door....
Even though 'JR' is in the hotel's name, it's not actually that close to the JR station – about a 10-minute walk. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel. If convenience for getting around is a top priority for you, I wouldn't really recommend this place, especially if you're hauling luggage in snowy weather.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to Sapporo Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room itself is quite spacious for this type of hotel, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a large and comfortable onsen (hot spring bath) that's perfect for unwinding after a long journey.
Good location in downtown Sapporo. Excellent concierge service.

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive; there are many amenities on the first floor, and you can even borrow snow-playing tools from the front desk.
Cleanliness: The hygiene is very good; everything is cleaned thoroughly.
Environment: The environment is pretty nice, with several convenience stores nearby.
Service: The service is quite good.
Everything was great except for the breakfast! In addition to the usual complimentary coffee and drinks, the lobby also offered clam chowder and crab soup (clear broth, of course, no actual clams or crab meat). The room was quite spacious. The hotel is conveniently located right across from Nakajima Park and the subway station, and it's also very close to Susukino. Bottled water was provided in the...
This was our first night's transit hotel, and while it didn't have a hot spring bath, it was right across from Nakajima Park. Seeing such a beautiful view right after landing completely melted away the chill. I booked a double room; it was a bit small but very clean. The toiletries were good quality, and breakfast was decent.
I booked a single room and found it to be a decent size with all the amenities I needed. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making communication a breeze. On the first floor, there's a lobby with drinks and snacks, plus a self-service counter for essentials like razors. Further down a corridor, you'll find the laundry room with dryers, which was very convenient. My room was...
The breakfast was excellent, and the location was great, very close to Nakajima Park. It was perfect for going downstairs to play in the snow when it snowed heavily. All in all, it was fantastic. The room was tidy and clean, and the service was good.
Love this hotel! We stayed here for 2nd time and this time I would really like to thank front desk colleague Saito San for her hospitality specifically with her communication skills, speedy check in and customer focus skills in helping us to change our room when my daughter accidentally vomited near our room bathroom as she got sick before checked in in the cold weather.

This hotel is conveniently located just a five or six-minute walk from Sapporo Station, right next to Yodobashi Camera, which is great for shopping. There are also some delicious soup curry restaurants nearby.
The hotel facilities are excellent, and the room was very spacious. Even with three of us and our luggage open, there was still plenty of room to move around.
Breakfast was also very good.
Good location. With Japanese public bath. Serve free ice cream. Nice breakfast.
This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Incredible value for money! Even the hairdryer and showerhead are from ReFa! The room, though small, has everything you need. The service is unbelievably good! The front desk provides a free bottle of water per person each day, and you can grab toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, facial cleanser, lotion, combs, earplugs, coffee, and more from the first floor...
Walkable to sapporo station, family mart nearby, able to store luggage before check in time.
The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions, subway lines, and great restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable, fantastic night's sleep every single night. Best of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!
When I first entered the hotel room, my initial impression wasn't great; some of the furniture looked a bit old. However, after staying for two weeks, I grew to love it more and more. Firstly, Japanese hotels excel in service; everyone, from the top management to the housekeepers, is Japanese. This is my second year staying at this hotel in Sapporo, and the main reason I chose it again is its convenient location, which works perfectly for my personal travel needs. Although the room isn't very large, it's perfectly adequate for one person, and it's nice and warm, which is great for someone like me who tends to feel the cold. I want to specifically highlight the service I received during this...
It was a decent room, small but comfortable beds. Good location in susukino, and yet quiet enough to have a good sleep.

Although it's only 600 meters from Sapporo Station, the paths were covered in ice shards, making it very difficult to pull luggage, so we ended up taking taxis everywhere. The single room was tiny; it was hard to move around with two suitcases open. The most frustrating part was that the Wi-Fi was practically unusable. Breakfast only consisted of bread and soup curry, which I wouldn't recommend buying...
If you enjoy walking, this location is absolutely fantastic! Most nearby tourist attractions are within walking distance, and it was great that the bus stop and Sapporo Station were also close by.
However, it was a shame that the front desk service varied significantly depending on the staff member. Some were very polite, while others provided only minimal service without even making eye contact....
The location, facilities, and service were all great. Having a convenience store right on the first floor and being close to both Sapporo Station and Odori Station was a huge plus. If I ever come back to Sapporo, I'd definitely stay here again.
The room was a bit small, but well-maintained and clean. However, the location was super convenient, very close to Sapporo Station. It's only a 3-minute walk from the subway exit, making it perfect for solo travelers or those taking the JR to other destinations.

Enjoyed my stay at Lifort Hotel Sapporo for 5 nights. The hotel has a 4-star feel, and while the facilities are slightly older, the stay was still comfortable. Smooth check-in and check-out, nearby convenience store, parking at 1,000 yen per day, and a great location next to Nakajima Park.
Variety of western and japanese breakfast. The high-floor room with a Sapporo city view was a nice bonus.
the staff so friendly and helpfull! nice location near to nakajima koen station. strategic location. thank you so much for the pleasant stay. Def will come back and stay here. keep it up

A very satisfying stay.
The hotel is very close to Nakajima-koen Station, just a three-minute walk from Exit 3. Be aware that the traffic light between Nakajima Park and the hotel entrance requires you to press the button on the pole to change to green.

The hotel location is great, right near Nakajima Park. You can take a stroll there during the day. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful; we lost our room card and they reissued it for us for free, which was a nice touch. You absolutely *must* try the BBQ place near the hotel – we went twice!
The hotel is great, and the window view is beautiful, overlooking Nakajima Park and half of the city. The hotel has a laundry room, microwave, and ice machine. There are four APA hotels in Sapporo, so it took me a bit to locate this one. The TKP is perfectly located between Odori Park and Sapporo Station which made walking around and exploring easy. Unfortunately the room I stayed in had mysterious streaking stains inside the toilet and was unbearably hot. I was...
I’ve stayed in countless hotels in Japan, and many APA hotels.
The main things I care about when rating a hotel: location, cleanliness, cost-to-performance, and compatibility for non-smokers.
I don’t put much value in room size because Japanese hotels tend to be smaller, and I use hotels for just sleeping, not for lounging.
Location: 8/10
Cleanliness: 7/10
Cost-to-performance: 6/10

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, it felt like a luxurious Japanese feast. The hotel's back exit opens right onto Tanukikoji, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. The staff at the restaurant are not polite enough, but so far is satisfactory. It was a bit stinky on the 2nd floor.
The hotel location was great! It's can be accessed directly from the tanukikoji shopping street. Room space was big, we able to open 2 luggages at the same time. The free bath and welcome drinks were so good. We would definitely choose this hotel again when we go Hokkaido next round.
I booked this hotel because of the great reviews, but I was honestly very disappointed. The soundproofing was terrible — I could hear every noise throughout the night and couldn’t sleep at all. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing; the food was dry, cold, and tasted like it might have been leftovers from the previous day.

Hotel is conveniently located 200m from the airport limo bus stop. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment at its door step. Set back is it is rather dated, and rooms are small, in particular the bathroom, which is only slightly bigger than a 6 foot table!

Sapporo, Nishi 5 chome (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is affordable, but cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom. Still acceptable for a low-budget stay
Great central location, very convenient for getting around. However, the room furnishings are a bit outdated.
Clean easy and convenient. A bit aged and a bit of city noise. Its close to the shopping district and lots of restaurants around. Room is typical Japanese size.
The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, the windows overlooked the street, and the rooms were clean.
The place was very neat and clean. It was situated conveniently near the station so transportation with Sapporo was very easy. There were a lot of good food around jt too and above all, the staff were very accommodating.
The room was a bit small, couldn't even fit a single suitcase. There are restaurants downstairs and parking available, but it comes with a fee. The service was pretty good, and they provided free toothbrushes and combs. It's about a 10-minute walk to Tanukikoji. Overall, it was decent.

Sapporo, 16-2, Minami 3 Nishi 3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Love the e free cocktails every evening of our stay. The hotel is easily visible along main road for first timer. Accessible and is center the shopping and restaurants. Wish they can clean and tidy the room everyday and not just replacing towels. At the basement of the hotel is an access to underground mall and mega donki which I truly admire. No stress.
Great location, good service, clean
Awesome modern hotel! It's very near train station and shopping street. BONUS: free drinks everyday
Good location, comes with a complimentary drink. Good!
Great location right opposite the Tanukikoji shopping street, making it very convenient for shopping and food. The hotel also has a private lift that goes directly to the basement, which connects to the subway, so you don’t need to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Check in and check out were very smooth and easy. Guests also receive a daily drink voucher that can be redeemed for free drinks...
The location is excellent. However, the hotel does not have an in-house onsen, and the breakfast selection is quite limited with few choices. Nevertheless, I would definitely book this hotel again, as the location is perfect.
