The hotel's location is superb, and they provide everything you need, including high-quality toothbrushes. The ladies at the reception are very friendly. They have a really interesting concept with a book corner, plus they show short films in the evening. On the lower floor, there's a fully equipped kitchen where you can easily prepare your own meals, with all the necessary utensils. The toilet has a heated seat (which isn't common in every hotel in Kyoto). The bed is genuinely large, perfect for two tall Europeans. However, the room itself is a bit small; 12 square meters felt a bit cramped for two tall people with suitcases. Overall, it's a very good hotel!

Locations within walking distance to Kyoto station. Some small improvement, a bit of inconvenience no phone or digital messaging system that you gotta walk down to receptionist for every request. Water is not provided in the room. May not be very friendly for light sleepers sleeper as you may easily wake by many different sound.

Good location, nice design, a perfect place to stay in Kyoto if you stay for 1 night because it’s walkable from the main station.

I was very impressed! If I ever get the chance to visit Kyoto again, I'll definitely choose TUNE STAY KYOTO for my stay. It's conveniently located near Kyoto Station and close to a bus stop. The rooms are clean, and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff at the front desk were polite and well-mannered.

Business Traveler. Hotel aesthetic was very cool from the basement library and kitchen to the Gin Bar. Service at check was fast and efficient. Room size was a little small but manageable (similar in size to many Japanese Business Hotels) so more than one person would be tight. Also might be difficult to work in the room but you can always go down to the basement where they have comfortable chairs and tables. Location was convenient and only a 5-7 minute walk to Kyoto Station. I would consider to stay again when I visit Kyoto in the future.

One of the best hotels I’ve been so far! I would come back for sure ! The services are kind of unique and entertaining ( movie projections, books to read, cocktails to try). The staff was very kind and helpful. One lady was especially welcoming and took her time to explain everything to us in perfect English . The location of the hotel is very good as well. Many restaurants nearby. Make sure to ask the hotel to book a seat at a restaurant for you since most of them were fully reserved and you don’t want to be rejected at the entrance because of that. Great experience overall .
