SlowTime Hotel Kyoto in Kyoto

Plenty of little restaurants to go close by, I recommend Yakiniku Hormon Shiomi restaurant. It’s a short walk to get there and the owner Shiomi is wonderful and accommodating.

We used mostly buses and sone trains from the hotel to get around. Plenty of options.

I would stay here again.

The hotel is quite a distance from the station, and it's really tiring to get there with luggage. I'd recommend taking a bus from the tram stop to the hotel instead. There aren't many shops or convenience stores around the hotel, but it's very quiet at night. The only upside is that the room is quite large, though I wouldn't really rate it as a 3-star hotel. The cleanliness was okay. During cherry blossom season, all hotels are expensive, so considering how spacious this room was, it felt relatively cheap.

It was okay, very clean, just that the sink was a bit small and the water flow was a little slow.

Hotel was nice ! located around the neighbourhood, quite far from the bus stop and nearest traun station (u need to walk like 10 minutes+) , advisable to wear good shoes for walking, and to bring maximum 2 luggages each person unless u willing to pay the taxi hehe, Overall, the room, toilet and the shower in the room was super nice, clean. the neighbourhood area was very calmful and quiet which i love🥰🥰.

The hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood, making it very quiet. It's a converted residential building, but it offers all the essential amenities, including a communal microwave. The room is reasonably spacious.

The main drawback is that it might be a bit far from major tourist attractions and commercial hubs. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. However, there's a bus stop close by, and buses from there go to Kyoto Station, Ginkaku-ji Temple, and Shijo-Kawaramachi, which actually makes getting around quite convenient. Kyoto's city center isn't very large, and it only takes about 15-20 minutes by bus from the hotel to Shijo.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it’s relatively close to public transportation. During the summer, walking around can be uncomfortable due to the heat, so keep that in mind. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the area is quiet. Overall, I recommend it.
