Osaka, 1-2-11 Taishi, Nishinari-ku (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's kinda of 24 hour staff but don't expect much after 11pm because that's like dead hour.
I think you can rent the bike for 24 hours. Because I have return my bike at 3-4am
Onsen timing for guy is 👍 👍
Room size is enough for 1 luggage (I stayed in a 1 room) and that enough for me.
Apparently you can leave your luggage at the front desk for 2-3 days after you check out, which is amazing.
Location...
Super affordable hotel in an area that has character. Had my own room (quite small but could move around) with a small TV. WIFI was reliable and fast. Shared bathrooms were a short walk from the room on the same floor and were clean. Showers were on the first level. Robes are provided so you don't have to bring so much with you. Towels are also included and in ample supply. The first level also has...
(Two night stay in mid-October, 2025; review cross-posted to Agoda.) Like many Japanese hotels, the place is tidy but not that deeply clean, the staff are friendly and unobtrusive but not effusive, and the facilities are a bit old and worn but perfectly serviceable. My partner and I stayed for two nights in mid-October in a traditional/typical tatami room. The beds were very comfortable and we had...
Superb place! Most amazing location for access to all train lines.
Place is great value!
I was solo and the room was perfect.
Nearby restaurants and night market across the street! Wow
The onsen is not good here
The place is old, a bit run down. It could use some renovations in some places.
I will stay here again for sure
The sanitation is average among the hotels I stayed in Japan. It has all the necessary facilities and the price is affordable.
Great staff, clean and comfortable hotel with all the amenities, but it is clear that the hotel has seen quite a lot.

Heads up: this hotel has an unusual check-in time, and you might not be able to reach them if you arrive too late.
The limited reception hours are a drawback, and especially the showers being closed after 11 PM.
This is a budget-friendly place to stay. The owner is lovely, kind, and very friendly.
It's close to the MRT station and Don Quijote mall.
The room is small but clean, and the owner is very friendly. It can fit a suitcase, and the tatami floor is very large—spacious enough for two people to sleep. I did see some rooms occupied by two guests. The shower and toilet are located outside the room. The room is equipped with a TV, air conditioning, and a refrigerator.
I had a great 4-night, 5-day stay in a clean and comfortable place. It was close to several subway stations, which was nice.
This small hotel is conveniently close to the Shin Imamiya and Dobutsuen Mae stations. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have adjustable lighting. There’s a small public bathroom area.
The staff allowed me to drop off my luggage and they moved it into my room when I returned later to checkin. Upon departing, the staff will call you at 10am if you haven’t checked out yet. So be prompt in your...

Location is key!
Walking distance to Dotonburi and have plenty of eateries in the vicinity
Room is very very small, probably good for a night stay
Parking lot is very limited in its surroundings, if you drive big car, probably going to be difficult to get in the narrow roads
Nice clean rooms with good size. Perfect locating as there it's at the end of a street market can grab a small bite to eat from one of the many stalls before heading out into the city. Staff members are very nice with some good English. Room cleaning is at your choice over scheduled days.
If you're looking for a medium -priced hotel, this is a recommended option. The bathroom is small at first, but the next day it will feel really cozy. Hotel Asiato has a not bad Hotdog Buffet. Friendly staff, and it's literally 1 meter to the famous Kuromon Market. Overall, my stay was wonderful!!!
Lovely room, friendly helpful staff always at the desk ready to help. Large market is basically at the front door, lots of food/drink options. Our room had windows that had privacy screens which meant we couldn’t see outside. Breakfast was ok, hot dogs/meat croquettes/scrambled egg - unlimited coffee was great. Coin laundry was very useful for us midway in our travel across Japan (400¥ to wash, 10...
Nice hotel, in a quiet location near Namba Station. It is convenient to walk to, and nearby to a handful of convenience stores and restaurants.
The staff were really kind and courteous, the rooms were small but comfortable. Downside was the shower curtain had a bit of mold on it.
Also due to corona prevention, they have suspended the free breakfast for the time being.
Warm, super clean room. cozy bed. not so bad breakfast. the only concern is sometimes there is cracking noise from outside, though not too bothersome. Would visit again, because it's good value for money.

The hotel is near Shinsaibashi Station and 7-Eleven, which is very convenient. You can leave your luggage if you arrive before the check-in time.
The hotel staff are very helpful—they are friendly, cheerful, and communicate very well in English.
Near Shinsaibashi station and America-mura, very convenient. Early check-in is available (you can leave your luggage).
Hotel staffs are very helpful, they are young, friendly, cheerful, and communicate in English very well.
However, my room seems so humid, and there was mold on some parts of the wall.
Honestly, I didn’t feel comfortable staying in the room and preferred to spend more time outside rather...
The location should get ten stars, right in wonderful, trendy Amemura with its great shops and cafes, Dotonbori and other central sights just a short walk away. But the room was also great, really neatly laid out and with a comfortable bed, no street noise, and great facilities like a coin laundry! I'd also like to commend the very helpful and diligent staff. What a great stay.
Great hotel. We had a pleasant stay. Room was a decent size compared to most in Japan. Location is excellent, main reason we chose it. Very close to all the main areas in Osaka and very close to the train station. Highly recommend this hotel.
Immediately welcomed by friendly staff that were helpful and attentive. The bathrooms were extraordinarily clean, dormitory was very nice, and common area was cool. Best hostel I stayed in.
Pleasant dorms with nice amenities. Located in an art district with many nice cafes within walking distance. The common area is very nice, and so is the management. They have a security camera on the entrance and digital key fobs so it’s secure and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Solid hotel to stay at in Osaka. The mattress is really hard.
Their service is quite bad. The woman at the front desk looked like a mistress and said that the luggage can only be stored until 12 noon. It's really cold. What's the point of storing it here? I told her in Japanese that I want to complain.
The Space is quite big and all of the amenities are good. The location is also good, only 6 minutes or so to the train station, 30 min to Namba. Will come again
It's really good. At first I thought the hotel was so cheap, it would be bad. But it was really pleasantly surprised. It's much bigger than the hotel I booked in Honmachi before. It's effortless to open the suitcase. The lighting is very good and bright.
The bathroom is a standard Japanese bathroom and very comfortable. Compared with the more expensive hotel in Honmachi last time, I could only stand...
Nice spacious hotel converted from an apartment building. Feels more like a basic serviced apartment than a hotel. The location was conveniently between two stations so a short walk would get you anywhere you need to go. Staff were helpful in receiving packages and helping out. Great spot if you’re like me and prefer to live in a more local neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of Shinsaibashi...

Everything fine, accept of the cleaning period.
They said to me i habe to leaf my doom in the time of cleaning. That was from 11:00 till 14:00.
I didn‘t accept. After a discuss they allowed me to be on my dorm whenever i want to.
Everything was very good, you have access to the subway very easily. I highly recommend.
Great location right next to Tennoji station. Very well worth every penny.
Right outside Tennōji station makes its super easy to get around Osaka. The rooms are a bit small but nice and the top floor public bath is a huge plus
I had a very pleasant stay at this capsule hotel. The building looks a bit old but it’s actually well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel is surprisingly well equipped: there is even a sento and a sauna, which is amazing considering the reasonable price.
Inside the capsules, there are only USB-A ports, but if you have a regular charger with a plug, you can go to the relaxation...
Although a bit dated, everything else was great. The location is excellent – just a quick right turn after exiting the JR station and you're at the hotel. The public bath facilities offer both hot and cold onsen (hot springs) and a sauna. Cleanliness was also quite good.

Osaka, 2-1-3 Inari, Naniwa (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a really great location, but the problem is the lack of space. You can't even keep your suitcases open, as there's only about 20 cm between the foot of the bed and the wall. There were three of us, and I think it was supposed to be a room for four, which is really impractical for so many people. Otherwise, it was good.
The room was reasonable for the price. The staffs was very nice and helpful.
Excellent! Both the environment and hygiene were spot on. Thumbs up! The room was quite spacious, with enough room for two suitcases. The service was also great, and it was very convenient that the front desk had a translator. Overall, a fantastic stay!
During my three-night stay, we experienced no hot water for showers on two evenings, and even a complete water outage at times. To make matters worse, it was the first time I've ever encountered a hotel that couldn't store guests' luggage on check-out day. Consequently, I had no choice but to drag my bags to a nearby station and pay to store them.
Located right by Sakuragawa Station, it's just a 7-8 minute walk to JR Namba Station. The room was a bit small, but clean enough. A good feature for families with kids is that the two beds can be pushed together. Overall, it offers pretty good value for money.
Hotel is within walkable distance to the metro (about 8mins walk). Hotel is a bit old but enough for what you need. Clean and friendly staff. What i like is that it is also walking distance to OCAT (BUS to kansai airport). One station away from kyocera dome.

Idk why some of you give 3 or even lower star??
this is the best cheap hotel ever.
First time i go to Osaka and the reception even give me time to leave my luggage and it's free before my check in time.
they're really helpfull even when i ask about to light up the stove.
the toilet is so clean even its sharing.
kitchen is so clean too, free comic to read.
why people you give lower star?
Great location, it's easy to move around Osaka by public transport and it's easy to make friends in the shared kitchen, I can recommend it for solo-travellers.
I really appreciated the onsen and the chance to change everyday towels.
The only complain is that the rooms are very small and have a old look and the toilets were often dirty.
Price is really good compared to other hotels. They also open for checkin 24 hours, which is quite rare in the area.
The room is enough for 1 person, but might be too small for 2. Location is really great as well.
I often stay at this hotel when I go to Osaka.
The price is reasonable, but the rooms are nice.
Next time I go to Osaka,
I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.
The location is excellent and it is very convenient to travel. It is just too old, otherwise the price/performance ratio is better. Fortunately, it will be renovated in October this year. Shin-Imamiya, Tennoji subway station and Nankai Electric Railway, JR station are nearby, and there is also a cheap Tamade supermarket and Tobita Shinchi.
This hotel has seen better days. It is pretty worn now. Still, all you might need is here: AC, equipped kitchen, sento bath and sauna, fresh towels and gown, luggage storage, quite friendly staff. It was quiet at night, we slept well. Showers are on the ground floor. There's microwave on every floor. Can't really ask for more for this price! Location is great actually. Metro and JR station really close...

Room was dusty but decent enough for just a quick night's stay as it was close enough to the train station and there were many convenient stores nearby.
It felt very comfortable, like staying in a real Japanese home. Although there are subway stations nearby, they are a bit far, or perhaps the design is inconvenient, as transfers were quite troublesome. Overall, it was still alright.
This was simply a terrible experience:
1. The air conditioning was ineffective. In a roughly 13 square meter room, even set to 16 degrees, it wouldn't cool down. You couldn't open the door to the living area, or you'd roast. 🥵
2. To my surprise, they didn't do any housekeeping, and didn't even change the towels.
3. The front desk was unstaffed. If you needed anything, you wouldn't know who to ask....
Booked here twice and thoroughly enjoyed the location, the amount of space and all the private facilities (including a small kitchen, washing machine and separate bathroom and toilet), there’s also the chance of a decent view from the window. Unbeatable value for money and the owner is kind and friendly.
I don’t understand why people put themselves into capsule accommodation when this an alternative
Convenience to Honmachi station. Within walking distance of 5 mins.

The service and customer service were excellent. However, the parking lot was a little limited. I heard that if I parked at a nearby trial parking lot I could get a free ticket, so I went there, but it was only about a five-minute walk, so it was a bit of a hassle.
The workers are excellent, first-class attention
The walls of the hallway and the interior of the room were torn or shoddy. The toilet seat was cold. The washlet didn't have hot water.
Nice and cozy room but you need to walk about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the nearest station.
Kind! Most of them just can only speak Japanese tho, its good enough.

The top choice for solo travelers, with friendly staff. Although there are some homeless people around the area , it's perfectly fine to just ignore them.
The hotel is on average
And you will get the instruction before check-in
But if you want to take public transportation need a few step to there
The hotel is very clean, comfortable and organized. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The only problem with this property is the WI-FI and I work online so it was a little challenging to me. But overall a nice stay.
Everything there was good, Cleanness facilities and hotel management was good, But the isolation wasn't very good If the people in other room talk, you can easily hear their voice even you cannot sleep better, Rest of other things were very good and well mannered
Room was similar to photos and was relatively clean and came with a TV. Interior decor of the walkway, etc was quite interesting.

Clean, affordable and in a busy area of Osaka directly next to transit. You have to leave your room key with the front desk which at first is a little weird but staff is attentive, efficient and available 24/7, so it's fine. Be aware there is a nightclub in the basement which blasts music until they close around 8am- you can kind of hear the music, but it's not terrible. Overall, good place to stay...

After checking in, I found the hotel's location to be excellent. It's only a few dozen meters from Exit 8 of Dobutsuen-mae subway station, and about 200m from Shin-Imamiya Station for both JR and Nankai lines. This makes it perfect if you have an Osaka subway pass or a Kansai JR Mini Pass, as you can get from the airport to the hotel by JR or Nankai in under 200m walking. Although the hotel is located...
The hotel is quite clean. However, the bathroom setup is a bit awkward after showering, especially since the door doesn't lock and it's a mixed-gender dorm. The location is a bit far from the JR station, but the front desk staff were very friendly.
It was very good stay there. Very near to metro exit 8.
Supermarket is also walking distance from hotel. Only problem is check in time 3:00 PM and check out time 10:AM. Value for money. Room size is small but it is very organised and fair enough
I think it's pretty good. It's simple, inexpensive, and in a great location, right near Tsutenkaku. It's also very close to Shin-Imamiya subway station, which makes getting to the airport easy. Plus, there's Tennoji Park right next to it.

Interesting place to stay, reasonable price for solo trip.
Compared to capsule hotels, the space is similar in size, but there are many books to read and pass the time. The bathroom and toilet are clean. The downside is that the sleeping area is still stuffy in the fall, so it is recommended to improve ventilation.
It's just a great place to sleep. It's a bit small, but it's still cozy.
The staff was friendly and the shared bathroom was clean. Overall, I was satisfied.
It was a 2nd floor capsule, so going up and down was a bit inconvenient. Be careful when coming down.
Thank you.

The room was tiny. It's close to the station, so the noise affected my sleep. The soundproofing is really poor. I guess that's what you get with a budget hotel; can't expect too much.
The hotel is located near the train station and has almost no soundproofing, despite the windows facing the courtyard. People smoke in the hotel rooms, so everything is smoky!
The hotel itself looks very tired.
It was very conveniently located near Shin-Osaka Station. The front desk staff were very helpful. Everything was simplified, but it wasn't inconvenient. To lock the door, you have to enter a 6- or 7-digit code, so I took a photo of the number. It wasn't a hassle either. Overall, I thought it was a good hotel.
