(Two night stay in mid-October, 2025; review cross-posted to Agoda.) Like many Japanese hotels, the place is tidy but not that deeply clean, the staff are friendly and unobtrusive but not effusive, and the facilities are a bit old and worn but perfectly serviceable. My partner and I stayed for two nights in mid-October in a traditional/typical tatami room. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space in the three-bed room. There was a lot of dust in the crevices but the sheets were quite clean. Same with the onsen: older and smaller space, but with very hot water and totally fine. Luggage storage is a rack right by the front door but the staff was very accomodating with us storing for several hours both before and after our stay. Location is also fine: walkable if you prefer more walking, quite close to a subway station, slightly crummier area of Osaka. Three or four stars, depending on what you seek from a hotel.

It's kinda of 24 hour staff but don't expect much after 11pm because that's like dead hour.

I think you can rent the bike for 24 hours. Because I have return my bike at 3-4am

Onsen timing for guy is 👍 👍

Room size is enough for 1 luggage (I stayed in a 1 room) and that enough for me.

Apparently you can leave your luggage at the front desk for 2-3 days after you check out, which is amazing.

Location is also good, metro, jr line near by 2-3 stops from Namba

Super affordable hotel in an area that has character. Had my own room (quite small but could move around) with a small TV. WIFI was reliable and fast. Shared bathrooms were a short walk from the room on the same floor and were clean. Showers were on the first level. Robes are provided so you don't have to bring so much with you. Towels are also included and in ample supply. The first level also has two separate lounge areas for eating and socializing with some food preparation supplies. There is also a vending machine of drinks and cigarettes. Front desk staff were polite and respectful. Metro is a short 10 minute walk. Recommend.

Basic stay with several inconveniences

We are a group of three who are doing backpack traveling under budget.

The building is old and shows its age.
One of the two toilets on our floor was out of order and the remaining one had no bidet and an old seat that did not look good.
Laundry is available with fifty yen for detergent and two hundred yen each for the washer and dryer.
The manager did not inform us that the main entrance locks at midnight and requires a password which we later noticed written inside the elevator.
A refrigerator is provided in the room.
Sound travels easily since the place is not sound proof and you hear everything happening on the floor.
Showers are only on the first floor which is a bit annoying and they look very old and need renovation.
Toilets get crowded.
Slippers and bath robes are provided.
The upper bunk has almost no space from the ceiling.
This place suits travelers who do not care about tidiness or appearance and we usually fall into that category but even for us it leaned to the unpleasant side.

I was solo and the room was perfect.
Nearby restaurants and night market across the street! Wow
The onsen is not good here
The place is old, a bit run down. It could use some renovations in some places.

I will stay here again for sure

This hotel is really terrible. The room is very small, with only the bed. The front desk spoke Chinese very well, so there was no problem communicating. They gave us the wrong room, and the location is not very convenient.
