Park Hotel in Tokyo

I recently stayed at Park Hotel Tokyo and overall had a very pleasant experience.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff. They were genuinely kind and attentive. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan before and sometimes the smiles can feel a bit formal or scripted, but here the hospitality felt sincere and warm. There were also quite a lot of international guests, and the staff’s English was very good, which made communication easy and comfortable.

They kindly allowed me to check in around 11am since a room was available — this was actually the first time I’ve ever been able to check in that early in Japan, and I was so happy and grateful. When I mentioned that my room had too much noise, they immediately arranged a room change without hesitation. I really appreciated how efficiently they handled the situation.

Another wonderful aspect is the artistic atmosphere of the hotel. Each floor features art exhibitions, and it honestly feels like you’re staying inside an art museum. It gives the whole stay a very unique and inspiring vibe.

As for the downside, the building and rooms do feel a bit old and could probably use some renovation. It’s not in terrible condition, but it’s not very new either.

Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, especially for the service and the artistic experience.

This hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just one stop to Tsukiji Market, and the Yurikamome Line to Odaiba is quick and convenient. Akihabara is only 20 minutes away, and it's a direct line to Shiba Park, Roppongi, Minami-Aoyama, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Yoyogi. Ginza is a 20-minute walk or a 1200 yen taxi ride. Haneda Airport is half an hour away, and a taxi isn't too expensive; you can even use Didi. It's peaceful despite being in a bustling area; Shimbashi Station is lively with plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping options. I found the hotel itself quite quiet. On the 25th floor, you might hear the Shinkansen, but we were on the 28th floor and didn't hear any train track noise, so our sleep wasn't disturbed. A side note: this hotel is very popular with Western foreigners; about 95% of guests seemed to be. We stayed for four nights in the most basic room type, which was small but perfectly adequate. The lobby offers an all-you-can-drink selection for 1000 yen per glass, and you can enjoy it while admiring the Tokyo Tower view from the lobby or take it back to your room. Next to the check-in desk, there's a service counter that can help you book Japanese restaurants, which is a thoughtful touch. There are many art pieces and exhibitions; before leaving, I bought a lucky cat for my daughter that she loved, made in Japan. We tried the hotel breakfast on the first day, and honestly, that was the only downside to our stay. The restaurant staff were all cold and unsmiling, a stark contrast to the welcoming lobby staff. We had a stroller, and no one guided us on where to park it; we ended up folding it ourselves and placing it next to our table. We had to specifically ask for a high chair, and no baby cutlery was provided. Furthermore, the food was poor value for money, 9000 yen for two adults, with limited good options and bad coffee. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Our stay at Park Hotel Tokyo was absolutely wonderful. The art room was stunning.Beautifully designed with an incredible painting covering the walls that made the whole space feel like a living gallery. It was such a unique and inspiring experience.

The view from our room was breathtaking, and we were incredibly lucky to even see Mount Fuji clearly from our window!Truly unforgettable!

The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. The hotel was spotless and impeccably maintained throughout.

Breakfast was excellent, offering a full and generous buffet with a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The lounge area was also beautiful and very relaxing.The perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Tokyo.

Wonderful hotel with top notch service, good amenities and fantastic location to catch the beauty of the Tokyo Tower and its surroundings while being right next to the station. Will definitely look to stay again. Recommended for solos or couples.

Everything was excellent and my room comes with a good view. The breakfast offerings could have more varieties. It was the same food everyday and I was staying for 9 nights.

Staffs are very helpful and very kind.
Regarding to cleanliness, eco friendly means for us, to use the towels one more time, no need to change the bed cloths everyday but still need to make the bed tidy and clean the floor and bathroom. In this hotel is to give us a clean towels, clean the bathroom and the bed doesn’t make tidy, the same as we left the room, we don’t need to change the bed cloths but maybe we expect to make the bad tidy as the other hotels we have been stayed. We didn’t have a clean feeling when we return to our room. It’s pity that they don’t have Yamato transport service. These are the only two minus points we have.

We have just completed our 4th stay at the Park Hotel Tokyo in the past five months and there many reasons we keep returning and making it our first choice to stay in Tokyo. The reception and concierge staff are magnificent and so welcoming, you are not staying at just another hotel, but an art gallery! We look forward to breakfast each day, then head to the lounge area to view Mount Fuji in the morning, before setting off on the day's adventure. Both restaurants ART colours Dining and Hanasanshou boast stunning views, with the quality of the food and service making you want to come back again and again. Thank you so much for your unrivalled hospitality, and we will return in the not-to-distant future!

I've travelled to many parts of Japan for over a decade and in terms of "a comfortable hotel with no complaints", this is it for me.
No complaints but I do have a small feedback which is to have the breakfast start at 6 or 6.30am for early/business travellers to be able to grab a bite before they can go about their day.
Other than that, the room was comfortable and big enough for a small side sofa by the window, there were spaces to open a medium sized cargo bag, the amenities were sufficient and so were the Eco-friendly initiatives (room service, bamboo in place of plastic items), etc. There was also a decent humidifier provided during winter (but that was not enough for me who comes from the tropics), I had my own small humidifier too and still it was kind of dry (not a hotel problem).
The view coming up the elevator and at the lobby was majorly impressive - boasting a skyline of both Tokyo Tower against Mt Fuji in the distance; during sunset, it was such a sight to behold. The lobby is big and has lots of rest/seating areas with some small amount of drinks provided from 5am to 10pm and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The service staff were impressive - knowing a wide range of languages and when they did not, remained unfazed and used translation tools. They were all polite, helpful and the F&B members too, made you feel like you were in some high-end restaurant. The artwork was also very nice to observe all over and if I have the chance to afford this hotel again, I'd do it in a snap.
Other important notes are that there is a convenience store at B2 of the same building. Level 3 is a bridge that links you directly to Yurikamome line monorail -and a little further, to the Asakusa and Ginza lines from there. The Ginza honten (main store) Don Quijote is also a 10 to 15 minute walk from there and so are many local eateries (5 min walk) and shopping areas (Carote, 10 to 15mins walk).

First time staying here with a family of 4. Location was good with underground access to Shiodome Station on Oedo Line and a 10minute walk to JR Shimbashi or Maranouchi line. We took the Triple Room which was just the right size for us. We arrived at slightly past noon and were surprised that they checked us into our room.
They have free coffee/tea in the Lobby area (which is at the 25th Floor) which is also a plus point. All in all, a pleasant stay and will definitely recommend or return!

Excellent stay. All the staff have been so helpful - my wife and I are travelling with a young baby and they have accommodated all our requests in such a professional and friendly way

The rooms are spotless, the overall decor is chic and modern and the location is excellent, close to both Shiodome and Ginza. The rooms whilst compact are certainly acceptable and we have been able to fit all our things despite have a considerable amount of baby apparel. We ended up staying there twice across a 2 week trip in Japan

Shout out to the girl (unfortunately did not get her name but she was a trainee) who helped us with our many bags (mostly baby related), ordered us a taxi and was so understanding.

If you are in Tokyo, I highly recommend staying here.
