Sakura Hotel Nippori, Tokyo1 / 26
8.3
Tokyo, 3 Chome-43-15 Sendagi, Bunkyo, 113-0022 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room had a separate shower and was very clean. The front desk staff were great, and the soundproofing was excellent. The breakfast spread was generous. It's a highly recommended place for both tourists and business travelers.
Very good service and comfortable for friends and family. Easy to travel and close to the historical area in Tokyo.
GOOD PLACE TO STAY , VERY CONVENIENCE WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT
It's an inconvenient location if you want to spend your time in Tokyo without being constrained by train times, but it's great for strolling around Yanaka Ginza. I used to be very impressed with this place, but now the cleanliness and equipment are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast soup has changed; we could only drink the broth. It's a long walk from the Chiyoda Line station,...
The front desk staff were very helpful, and the hotel was very clean. It's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Nippori Station. We chose to stay here on our last night because the car rental place was nearby, and in the morning, we could take the Airport Express directly to the airport. There's a Lawson convenience store near the hotel, so we bought instant noodles to bring back. The hotel cafe...
The only 3 stars are for amenities but it's really not a big deal since it's a 2 stars hotel. We had the best stay in Sakura and we definitely will be back

No issues at all, apart from the small room size. The price was good, and even though the single room didn't have a private bathroom or toilet, the shared facilities were very clean and rarely used. The location is excellent, with a large supermarket and several convenience stores nearby. It's also just a 5-minute walk to both the JR station and a subway station.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I really appreciated the staff member who thoroughly explained how to use the amenities and the alternative back entrance when the main door is closed. The room reminded me of a school dorm, which made for a fun stay with my friend.
Two stops from Nippori Station, about a ten-minute walk from the station. There are supermarkets opposite the accommodation and outside the station. The room is small and basic, just enough to open a large suitcase. A large blanket is provided, which makes for a comfortable sleep. The environment is very clean, and there's a microwave and hot/cold water, but no conditioner. For this price, there's...
The room was spacious enough for 1 person, i can open my 28 inch luggage there easily. For the price that i paid, i can say it’s worth the price. One thing that i like, it’s equipped with mini refrigerator. All the staff were really helpful and kind. It’s located 7 minutes by walk to the nearest metro station (Minami Senju). Thank you.
Came back after three days in South Korea so this was technically my second time staying here! Perfect for what I needed—a place to sleep and come back to after a day of exploring. Very friendly staff who were kind and helpful. This time, I had a large piece of luggage (bike box) and they were kind enough to let me put it in the hallway for one night. I also liked that I was able to have my luggage...

It's great because there is a large public bath.
The male staff member was very kind. Thank you!
There is 24-hour front desk service, basic amenities, nearby residential areas, although not the most central to Tokyo, but subway stations are in walking distance, drive to stay quite good, nearby parking
It's about a 5-minute walk from Ojima and Higashi-Ojima stations on the Toei Shinjuku Line, and there are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I was very pleased with the location. It was clean, but there was a little dust on the bed frame, which would have been better. The facilities were old, and there was no electric kettle, but instead there was an electric stove and kettle. There was a...
Fine for one night in between, but you don't want to stay here longer
There is no cleaning when ordering online, but a friend also ordered on-site for breakfast and cleaning. Is it aimed at Chinese people?

Traveling with my dog, this hotel is pet-friendly, though there's an extra cash-only charge for pets. The location is excellent; we could walk to Sumida Park, Senso-ji Temple, Akihabara, and Ueno Park. There's also a pet-friendly restaurant nearby within walking distance, and a fantastic curry place right across the street. We were able to store our luggage at the front desk, and the hotel was quite...
A very average guesthouse, livable, with plenty of food options nearby. But I definitely wouldn't consider staying a second time. Besides the convenient location for tourists heading to Kuramae or Senso-ji Temple, it has no other advantages. The windows were drafty and the room had an odor.
Dirty, they only changed the bed linen and vacuumed the visible parts of the carpet. The corners were full of dirt, dust, and trash. The extra mattress was on the floor. The room smelled terrible, and the smell wouldn't air out. The location is convenient, but it's only good for a quick overnight stay and leaving early. Communication is only through email, and the reception desk is always empty. The...
Overall, it's good! The service attitude is great! The room is comfortable! Just the location is not very convenient!
The location is decent, about a ten-minute walk from the subway station. The value for money is reasonable. The staff didn't seem to speak much English, mostly only Japanese. You can boil water and have tea on the second floor.

This place was really mediocre. The price even dropped on the day of my check-in, which was annoying because I booked in advance and paid more. The bathroom had a strong odor. I definitely won't be staying here again. I usually see rooms for a few hundred [local currency] here, so I'd recommend looking at other hotels.
Best hotel in Tokyo. The onsen on the rooftop is amazing. Large area and also inside areas to relax in. Hotel lobby staff were so kind. Highly recommend
The hotel is a bit old, but the location and value for money are decent.
The locating is okay. But room curtain is dirty But in total consider expenses it’s okay!!
Royal Hotel Ikebukuro’s services are fabulous. I have no regrets about booking my stay. The staff are very friendly and cooperative, especially ZaZa — he is wonderful and extremely helpful. I was travelling alone with my kids, and he even helped me get to the bus stop, carried my bags, and showed me which bus to catch. The hotel staff always greet you with a smile. It’s also close to the train station...

The hotel staff can communicate in English fluently. However, to process the check-in, customers require doing in at another building, 3 mins walk.
The hotel is in a super convenient location, as there is a metro with 7 or more stations nearby, a small cute temple, a Mac, a KFC, a Starbucks and 24-hour shops nearby. Also a lot of eateries The room with 2 1.5 beds is very small, there is only space for a suitcase under the bed. A bit dated, but it was cheap, clean, secure and easy to find. It's located in a nightlife heavy area, so if drunk salary men walking the streets scare you then this may not be the spot for you 😆
The attached Chinese restaurant serves morning ramen, and for 500 yen you can choose from 4 types of ramen, especially the green onion ramen.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. Its biggest advantage is the affordable price. The front desk offers free luggage storage, and there's a microwave and hairdryer available. Each floor also has a water dispenser.
For the Prize it was fully okay, just the Toilette seat was dirty at my arrival what was kind of disgusting/bad start. The rest was fine only the WiFi could be better
This isn't my first time staying at this hostel, and it truly offers incredible value for money. It's rare to find a private room in downtown Tokyo at such an affordable price. Now, they even have a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which is incredibly friendly for Chinese travelers. Very helpful and nice staff! I love those types of single person tatami rooms. They provide you a yukata. You can wash your clothes here for a small charge. I wholeheardly recommend this place to stay 🥰
If you just want to sleep and spent more time outside, this place is suitable for you. Located in a very quit neighbourhood but it is safe to walk around there. Okay for short term stay. Nice location, it's in a quite calm neighborhood. I really like this hotel. Totally worth the money. I will book again if I'm going to solo traveling again. This hotel is located near the Ginza line, so I just use one line to go anywhere in the itinerary.
The onsen (outdoor hot tub) on the roof was great.
Absolutely love this place! It's my go-to whenever I visit. The guy at the front desk speaks excellent Mandarin and is incredibly welcoming. It's super clean, and there's a convenience store right next to the entrance on the left, which is really handy.

Stayed here as layover for an early flight out of Haneda. Chose this location as it is close to the train station (about 10min walk) as well as close to Haneda. By yourself? Need a place for one night? Easy to get to from the subway? This is your place. Sure, the room is small, but I have enough room for myself. Lots of availability to charge all of my electronics. Breakfast was free. Close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. I couldn’t tell you the last place that was as clean as this place was. Nothing but good things to say about this place.
Excellent breakfast buffet and very nice employees. Plus we used the free hotel shuttle back to the airport. We will be back ❤️
It was close to the station and the price was cheap. The front desk staff was very helpful. There was a convenience store nearby that served snacks, which was nice.
I stayed here from March 5th, 2024 through March 10th, 2024. This place is so convenient and fit all my needs. It's in walking distance of Kamata Station and the Keikyu-Kamata station which made exploring Tokyo a breeze. The breakfast buffet helped start my day off nicely, and was a great benefit to help me save money for other activities and souvenirs
Its the same price as a capsule, but you get a room to your self with a privste bathroom. Close to airport, some cool places to eat near by...The place is a bit vintage, but still clean and the staff are friendly and speak English. So a perfect place for the economy savvy traveler. Highly recommended. Book a non smoking room if you don't smoke.

It was a family travel accommodation, but it was narrow, but the location was the best, and the surroundings were nice and quiet.
The room is a bit small but if you arrange your stuff properly, this place is also a good choice for a budget family hotel. Since the hotel itself is just around 1 - 2 years old, all equipment in the room is still new. The hotel is conveniently located near Disneyland, with a wide variety of restaurants nearby. On my last night, I accidentally left my phone in a taxi. The overnight staff were incredibly helpful and guided me through the process until I successfully retrieved it. A big thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable and memorable.
We stayed for two days to visit Disneyland and DisneySea. The location was great, and it was only a 1400 yen taxi ride back, which was convenient. We had the Peter Pan bunk bed room, and the kids absolutely loved how cute it was, so we were very satisfied. However, I felt it was a bit pricey for a room-only stay.
The hotel's shower and toilet are separate, which is a thoughtful touch! The room isn't huge, but there's enough space to open a 28-inch suitcase. We used the luggage delivery service, and our bags were already in the room when we checked in – super convenient! Just a few steps to the left downstairs is a Lawson convenience store and a bus stop, and to the right, a McDonald's and Matsumoto Kiyoshi...
I stayed here when I went to Disney. The room was adorable and kept the Disney magic alive even at the hotel! The bus service to Maihama Station was frequent, and having convenience stores and dining options nearby was super convenient. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit Disney!
I initially booked this hotel because I thought it was closer to Disneyland. I assumed it was right next to a train station, but I was completely wrong! It's actually super far. We walked for almost 30 minutes to get there. The only good thing about this hotel is its exterior and room design, which are pretty nice. It also has some themed elements. However, the biggest drawback was that when we woke...
When sleeping on the second floor, the air conditioner blew directly on me, so in winter, it felt like a sauna upstairs and cold downstairs. The amenities provided were abundant and very helpful! The hotel is really nice, we had this trip over the winter and it felt really good going on the room and it was warm. The bed and sheets were really confortable. There is also an onsen at the hotel which is very handy.
Overall it was great experience, love the hot bathup! I wish the hotel nearer to the train station.
The accommodation was very clean, and there were plenty of toilets on both floors. The 24-hour showers use a push-button auto-shutoff system, which was a bit inconvenient. The location is a ten-minute walk from the station, but it's a straight and easy path. All the facilities were well-equipped.
There aren't many places to stay at this price within the 23 wards of Tokyo, so I think the advantage is that you can stay at a low price while not being too far from the city center.
Remote area, budget option. Friendly staff. It's okay for a hostel; the building is old. There's air conditioning in the room, and the bed is comfortable enough, but not very wide.
I was glad to find a place to stay in Tokyo at this price. There was also a hot spring, so I was able to get a good night's sleep.

A wonderfully cozy and intimate place. The room is extremely small, but equipped with everything you need: a bed (I ordered a mixed bed – I prefer a futon, while my partner preferred European bedding), warm and very pretty blankets (the polka dots are a delight), a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, a hairdryer, hangers, and towels. A decent building, decent interior ambience. Modern but small. One bed + one mat is provided, good for two people. 1.0 km walk from train station. Train is close to Akihabara
Nice and convenient location. Clean and relatively quiet.
The cheapest accommodation in Tokyo, very close to the Minami-Senju subway station, you can see the Tokyo Skytree. The triple room is relatively small, but the price is worth it, so it is a good place to stay for one night and is worth recommending.
Mold in the shower. Very small common area. Not even a glass for tea in the evening and a tiny towel for the shower (for the same price in the same city, I had better service than that). The soundproofing isn't very good. 2 showers + 1 bath + 4 toilets for about ten rooms. In short, expensive for what it is.

A charming and ideally located hotel. The location is truly a major asset! The rooms are modestly sized (which is common in most hotels in Japan), but everything was impeccably clean (you'll find complimentary towels and toiletries at reception). But the biggest advantage is the price, which is particularly attractive for this area (just a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Temple).
A self service inn but you can find all you need. Very thoughtful. Beside the size, which is all the same all around Japan, all the service are very convenient for tourist.
Positives: - great location - clean room and bathroom - lots of handy items that can be taken from the front (towels, hygiene items etc) Negatives: - small room - weird and funky smell in the room - only one key for a four night stay
The single-bed room was small, and the window was looking into the concrete wall of the adjacent building, which was a bit depressing. However, overall it was clean and had all necessities, and location was good

Best experience so far!! Room was big, beautiful, nicely located on a charming Sakura alley, very nearby Meguro station. Dry private sauna in the room, all the facilities. Staff were very kind and helpful, I highly recommend
I arrived late and left before dawn the next day, so I booked this hotel. It was hard to find a room during the Spring Festival. I won't stay here again. There is a small sauna in the room, which is quite unexpected. What an experience?
We don't want to review it too hard because we stayed here one night more for the experience than anything else. It's what you'd expect from a love hotel. Extra shout to the employee that came to help us as this is supposed to be completely automatic but we had no clue as we speak no japanese. It's smoking allowed so it smells to cigarette.
Fun hotel, bed super comfortable, facial products supplied, lovely bath. Great location 5 mins walk to Yamate line and near plenty of restaurants and convienance stores.
