Tokyo, 2-5-13 Kanda Jinbo-cho (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My family and I have been traveling in Tokyo. My family consisting of two adults and two full-grown teenagers stayed for 7 nights at Sakura hotel in a family room with two bunk beds and one extra bed, with shared shower and toilet. The room was a good size, spotless, including the shared bathrooms and toilets. Breakfast was included in the price and was just what we needed and everyone was full and...
A lovely stay in a budget hostel. We ended up making bookends of our 2 week Japan trip by staying here at the beginning and rebooking for the end of our trip, we liked it so much. It’s a quiet hostel, with an older crowd (not a place if you want to go nightclubbing but definitely a place for you to meet others to visit a museum together) Reception is 24hr and staff are lovely with amazing English...
Sakura Hotel Jimbocho is what you'd expect from a low cost hostal. I was exhasuted when I got there and the staff made checking in easy. Staff were also very accommodating to my utter lack of Japanese speaking skills. You get a free breakfast voucher for your first night, but the breakfast is just a small selection of coffee, toast, and soup (the soup was quite good though). Ammenities such as shower...
I actually made a mistake on my booking order. I should stay in Ikebukuro, but accidentally ordered in Jimbocho instead. But I didn't regret anything. It was so nice because I can see another prefecture by accident. I also didn't find any difficulities with the local transportation (I didn't use any taxi at all) and it's near to Jimbocho Station gate A1. The staff's communication also so good, their...
Sakura Hotel Jimbocho offers a very clean and comfortable stay. The room was spotless, and the shared bathrooms, toilets, and washing areas were well-maintained throughout our stay. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise considering the rate- unlimited bread with butter and jam, plus coffee, tea, and iced coffee that kept us full until mid-day. For the price, it was more than satisfying. The hotel...
This is a pretty cozy hostel in Jimbocho, Tokyo. It has an attached Cafe and operates 24/7. Staying in the shared rooms, the space is adequate and clean. Only downside is having to change out your door key daily. Towels and other amenities are available to rent for a cheap price and each bedspace comes with its own light and Japanese outlet (outlet is at the top of the space so make sure your plug...

There's even a bathtub, though it's a bit small. The lady at the front desk during check-in had an average service attitude. Overall, no major issues. Staying at a chain like Livemax Eco is definitely better than a capsule hotel.
The room and bathroom are spacious. Besides the mini-fridge, has a washing machine, microwave and IH cooking heater. No cable and complimentary water. No auto-lock. Can find some convenience stores, a small supermarket but no restaurants nearby. Proper restaurants can be found less than 10 mins walk to Shimbashi station. It is a little steep for a night but if staying more than two night and cooking...
Very clean, great value for money.
please fix the shower drainage.
Good staying experience but the pillow is a bit hard
Located in commercial suburb with 10-15 min walk from metro station with reasonable cafes, restaurants and banks around.  Area is quiet especially in weekend time if you like to be away from crowd and shopping centres, but have convenient stores at the corner. Walkable distance to fish market (30 min) and Tokyo Tower (25 min ) if you are happy to.  Shower curtain is a bit dirty and moldy which is not...

The smell of sewage was strong. The water pressure in the shower was good. One night is the limit.
I stayed here after a concert at the Dome. The location was good. The price was cheap, so it's fine if you just need a place to sleep. It might be a bit tough for those with sensitive skin...
The prices along the Yamanote Line have been rising, so I found a hotel on the Sobu Line in Ryogoku that was as cheap as possible and convenient for getting to downtown Tokyo. The hotel was built quite a while ago, and the door keys are old-fashioned and quite charming. I stayed for two nights, and was grateful that the free breakfast was a self-service snack.
Second stay The room is just like the picture, an old-fashioned business hotel But there is a refrigerator, a bathtub, and free breakfast. If you just want a place to sleep, it's a good deal.
I like it because it's close to the station, reasonably priced, and has free breakfast.
It also included a light breakfast, so it was good value for money. It was fine for sleeping, but you could hear the trains passing by from the window (although this may have only been in the room I stayed in).

The room was acceptable and met basic expectations. The room was fairly comfortable for the price.

Nice loaction near the train station.. and also not far from center..staff is kind.. and cheap compared to others
Cost-effective? Soso for Tokyo But is the service good? That's not it again It's not even a university dormitory. There is a limit to what time you must come in at night. However, if you are really in a hurry, I think it would be okay to write here.

Under Railway Hotel Akihabara, Tokyo1 / 24

Tokyo, Kanda Neribeicho 15-1 (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is under the railway but around midnight no sound of train. Location is good near akihabara station.
Convenient location, but there's train noise!
The room was well-furnished and reasonably furnished. The bathroom and toilet were a bit small but still had everything you needed. Access was convenient with a QR code (simply take a photo and save the QR code). The railway noise was a little bothersome on the first day, but became less noticeable over the next two days. The earplugs provided by the hotel weren't very useful.
For a group of three in Tokyo's Akihabara, the room offered good value for money, and the service and location were excellent. However, as it's located directly above train tracks, it might not be suitable for light sleepers, as train noise is constant. The room was warm but dry, so using the bathroom for humidity control was necessary. There were food and drink options available for purchase, but...
The location is very convenient and the room environment is great. However, it can be a bit noisy. If you're a heavy sleeper and don't mind the sound of trains, then it's a fantastic room. But if you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it.
Perfect for small space, big bed and a asmr experience with the sounds of the trains passing by

The rooms in Japanese hotels are very small, but the bed in this hotel is quite comfortable. This price is really unbeatable during the cherry blossom season. The Kinshi Park is right outside the door, full of cherry blossom trees, and you can also see the Skytree. It is very close to the subway station and only takes a few minutes to walk. The most important thing is that there should be a lot of...
The hotel location is good and it's good to come alone and rest They even give you a handkerchief as a gift when you check out I felt really good and I want to visit again!
The quilt was a piece of cloth separated by a bedspread, which was very uncomfortable. The double bed is only 1.4 meters long, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. It feels dangerous to boil the kettle⚠️, but the hygiene is okay. There is a park next to it, which is quite convenient for taking the subway.
The hotel is very expensive, the room is not big, and the facilities are dilapidated The location is very good, close to a large railway station, there are also many large shopping malls nearby, and there are many types of shops.

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and really loved the area. The metro station is just a 3-min walk away, and there are lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Although the room is a bit old, but everything in need is provided, neat and tidy. The hotel is also very close to Asakusabashi, which is very convenient to travel around. This hotel has lift, good food tourists who carry a big luggage with them.
the hotel is a 5-minute walk to asukasubashi station. there are restaurants across the station whenever you return to the hotel late. grocery store and family mart is also by the station. the hotel provides the necessary amenities. it even has a washer and dryer (for 200/100 yen).
Walls were a-bit on the thin side. Rooms had slightly weird layout and design. There were corners which clearly wasn't thoroughly cleaned in a while but not much to complain about. Staffs were very helpful.

Great stay for family. Traditional room with 6 tatami. Including kitchen and private toilet. Smart TV with wifi. Near to Shin-Okubo Station. Near to halal food and groceries. Very clean as we have to keep our shoes in the locker at lobby before enter hotel. There is elevator. Coin laundry across the street. Gonna stay here if we repeat tokyo.
The Japanese English is hard to understand, and the front desk isn't staffed 24 hours. Be aware of that!
We are 5 people family stay on Oct25. Our room is on 1st floor which is very convenient. The room is spacious with tatami floor in majority. The main reason for this trip was to take the Odakyu Line to Hakone in the morning. The hotel is very close to Shinjuku Station, which is convenient, and I could easily go out for a stroll in the evening. The room was spacious, with a separate shower and toilet, and the bathroom was large. The hotel even gave me complimentary food upon check-in. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance
The room was very spacious! The facilities were complete! It was comfortable and clean! The transportation was extremely convenient! The price was very reasonable! Everything you could want was nearby – food, entertainment, everything was easily accessible!
The neighborhood being what it is, it's still noisy even on the top floor. The windows are boarded up, so it smells damp, and the bathroom fixtures are old. However, there's a good supply of little goodies for play (from hoods to beauty masks to even a hair tie for the wife). The staff is competent, even if they're not visible.
Huge room with an amazing bathroom! Had a large Jacuzzi tub and shower area, separate toilet and wash areas. Layout was different but I liked it. The bed was huge (and moderately comfortable, could be softer or more cushioned) and lots of space, huge tv and nice lightning. Karaoke machine was a cool touch! Overall great hotel!
Very clean, the care products are also very good
I stayed here the last night of my vacation and loved it. Loved the amenities!

I really liked the room with the balcony. Overall, it was a great experience. Shopping and transportation were convenient, the service was excellent, and the cooking and laundry facilities were good. It would be better if there was more storage space for clothes; one hanging rack wasn't enough for three people. Also, the slippers provided were too thin. Even with the heating on in April, my feet still...
Clean, friendly staff, speaks English. Located in Minowa, in a residential area, very, very quiet. There is a water dispenser near the hotel. Overall, the room was pleasant. It was spacious, clean, bright, and even allowed cooking. Shoes had to be removed before entering. There was a stove, dishes, and a sink for cooking. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. There were three beds, a washing machine and dryer, a combination lock, and luggage storage. It was about a 10-minute walk from the subway station.
While the location is a bit secluded, it has everything you could ask for. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
Its very good place! I hope i will back to it in next year. Combini about 6 minutes, subway about 6 minutes. Ueno about 2 stops. Very good location, pleasure administration. On the morning you can get free coffe and umbrelas if rain is going.

This is a very affordable capsule hotel. It’s located near several train lines, making it very easy to travel. The staff are friendly and eager to help. However, I stayed here from late December to early January and noticed the rooms were freezing, as if the heater wasn't turned on. It was actually painful to try to fall asleep.
Chiyoda city is a good point to travel around tokyo and the hotel is right in the spot close to metro and bus stations. This place has everything you need and is comfy. You cannot expect to have a full fledged hotel room experience and put low rating. If you want that kinda of experience go to a expensive hotel instead. This was super comfy and budget friendly place.
I enjoyed my stay here. The only thing that bothered me was my bed 416 right in front of the entrance has no under bed luggage space. I had to leave my bags out in the way. I tried my best to keep them within my area but there’s only so much I could do. During my stay everyone was quiet and respectful. I was worried about having the bed in front of the entrance because I’m a light sleeper but I had...
Great location, very cool concept. Tons of manga in several languages and a couple small nooks for reading. The beds were comfortable and it was actually pretty quiet other than some people snoring. The lights and air conditioning (which some others have mentioned) didn’t bother me. The main thing was that both the bunk and the main sleeping area smelled like feet the entire time womp womp
Perfect for manga lovers! Mostly recent manga. Good selection of manga in English! Sleep-wise, the capsule was a comfortable, run-of-the-mill pod. It does get a little stuffy in the capsule, but they have mini fans at the front desk you can grab and use. Be careful of the low shelves and sharp corners, I bumped my head a couple times. If you love manga, totally worth it to stay a couple nights.
The room is very quiet and agradable. Have many mangas in Japanese and in English. But the entrance is a little small for large baggage and the restroom is a little dirty. Nevertheless, I would stay again on site, it was very nice.

Thank you very much for your hospitality this time. This was the first time I stayed in a hotel by myself to take my university entrance exams. The room was decent, an average size that allowed us to open two suitcases comfortably. It was well-equipped, and the subway station was only about a 5-minute walk away. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and polite.
The futon was thin and I felt cold. Even with the heater on, the room didn't warm up.

I stayed here for business. The parking was very convenient. It was close to the station, so it was only a few minutes' walk away, which I thought was very convenient.
The room was perfect for our stay and the owner were nice and respectful exceptional they don't speak English well. Will recommend for traveling from another country.
This was my first time at a business hotel in Japan, and it was perfect for a business hotel with good value. The staff were friendly, the room was appropriately sized, and the washing machine and vending machine on the fifth floor made for a comfortable stay.
I had booked a non-smoking room and was shown to a room that was definitely a non-smoking room, but the moment I opened the door, I was hit with the smell of cigarettes, which was very unpleasant (maybe it was originally a smoking room...).
