It was a nice hostel. I had a private room and there was breakfast in the morning. They are selling a Tokyo subway pass in the reception, which was great. You can also sit outside. It is great when it is warm inside or when it is raining. Unfortunately the next building was renovated, so noise in the morning.

Four of us shared a room, and we were all very considerate, so there was no noise. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was a bit simple, but the location was fantastic, and they even offer luggage storage!

The room was so big and clean !everything was good the downside is you need to rent a towel for 100yen .because i dont want to go back again at another building which is the reception is there i use a face towel instead.me and friends stay there but if i will have a chance again i would like to comeback .by the way they have a toast ,soup and coffee for free .

I felt relaxed when I stay this hotel for two nights in Tokyo, it is clean, and the room is comfortable. Moreover, their service is splendid.

Hotels functioned as close-knit communities and were situated a short walking distance from the train station.

The location was convenient. However, the hotel itself was tired and could have been cleaner. Check-out was at 10:00, which was also not very convenient. Additionally, guests were only allowed to leave their luggage until 12:00 after check-out.

Location was ok and also really quiet. Poorly there was no breakfast room, you had to pick it up from the entrance and it was every day the same, even no coffee. Windows are not well sealed, which makes it a bit cold in winter.

It's close to the downtown area, making it easy to find places to eat, but it can be a bit noisy outside at night. The bathroom door had a strange design that brushed against the sink, which was a bit disappointing. It's fine for business use, though.

The room was bigger than expected, only the toilet was a bit small, but Japanese hotels do, so no way. But it was comfortable, so I will consider staying next time I come to Tokyo! The 2nd floor has free coffee, microwave, etc., early arrival can sit down and wait, supper can be downstairs lawson buy up to eat, very convenient. The staff is very nice although they work very according to the rules.

We booked two single rooms. One room was cancelled two days prior. We were able to pay on the day of arrival, and only for one room. It was a lifesaver! We also enjoyed the free breakfast and drinks. Thank you very much! 🙇‍♀️

I only stayed at the hotel and didn't order any meals. There were convenience stores within dozens of meters of the hotel, which was very convenient! It wasn't like a particularly noisy or chaotic area. It was also about 100 meters from Seibu Department Store and 200-300 meters from Ikebukuro Station, very convenient!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, but the elevator and the hallway to the room are both quite narrow, making it a bit difficult to move large luggage. Also, the soundproofing might be too weak for some people as there is an ambulance siren sound. Aside from these issues, everything else is OK. 👍

Great, very convenient for transport, I always stay here whenever I visit Akihabara.

The room was tiny and the facilities were very outdated. The wall sockets were so loose that it was almost impossible to charge anything. However, it was quite affordable and conveniently located.

First time experiencing a fire escape... that was certainly a unique experience... The fact that the door doesn't automatically lock when you close it is a bit annoying, otherwise, it's pretty standard Livemax quality.

Overall is clean and good for short stay. Got personal space with curtain cover, mirror side rack and lamp. So lucky we got quiet roommates. Amenities: washing machine 300yen and dryer 100 yen per time, but dryer not so effective. We took 2 times to dry but still not that dry.

Aside from the small room, everything else was great. The transportation around the hotel is very convenient, with both Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station nearby. There are also plenty of convenience stores like 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson, as well as ramen shops, so dining options are abundant. The surrounding area isn't noisy, and you can even see Tokyo Tower from the hotel's rooftop.

The hotel is really close to Daimon Station, just a five-minute walk, and the nearest exit has an elevator, which is super convenient. The room isn't huge; you can't quite lay out two 28-inch suitcases flat. The bathroom isn't the typical Japanese style; there's no bathtub, just a shower. They offer amenities on the first floor, and you can see Tokyo Tower from the rooftop.

The hotel is very convenient to the Sumida River Fireworks. It is a 1-minute walk from the entrance of the stadium. If you don't have a ticket, you can watch it at the intersection, and the Skytree is opposite.

My partner and I stayed here for the first 4 nights of our trip around Japan. The location is a continent 10-12 minute walk from Shinagawa station so we had no problem getting to wherever we needed to get to. Staff on site at reception are very friendly and happy to help 2 anything. There are washing machines and dryers on site which really helped out a lot!

I stayed here in April when I went to Tokyo, and it was super convenient. It's about a 12-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, but if you're going from Kita-Shinagawa Station, it's just a few minutes. Getting to Haneda Airport directly from Kita-Shinagawa only takes about 25 minutes, which is incredibly handy. There are several supermarkets nearby, and a breakfast bakery and coffee shop right next door...

Really nice hotel just few meters away from Kitashinagawa subway station. Really peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Little old but very clean and good smelling rooms. surrounding markets get close early and you can’t find any restaurant or shops late night, just family mart next to hotel.

Even before check-in, I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk. Check-out was super convenient. The hotel is very close to the station and a straight shot to get there. There's a Matsuya nearby, making dining easy. Plus, there's a FamilyMart right across the street with delicious fried chicken and milk!

Here's my personal take: First, you have to climb stairs to reach the hotel front desk. This is really inconvenient if you have large luggage. This is our second time staying at Oak Hotel Edo and we were greeted with a very sweet welcome card written by the staff. We enjoyed both our stays at this quiet and clean hotel. Huge hotel, great value for money, right in the heart of Shinjuku. The bathroom was also very spacious, definitely the biggest hotel room I've stayed in in Japan. However, they couldn't issue a local receipt, which caused me some trouble.

This hotel might be in a good location for those who use the train, but since I came by car, finding parking was a real hassle, and the parking fees were quite high. At night, it felt a bit unsafe, possibly due to being in a busy entertainment district.
