Jonai Hotel in Karatsu

It was a rather peculiar hotel. Only one middle-aged woman sat at the front desk, and the lobby was filled with various "antiques" but very quiet. Opposite the lobby was a pavilion with a clock that automatically chimed on a fixed time. Overall, it was alright, considering the price.

I liked the hotel atmosphere because it gave off an old Japanese vibe. The person checking in was friendly and nice.

Decent for ¥7000 a night twin bed room. Walking distance to Karatsu Castle and Karatsu Station.

It's a small hotel and it's a little inferior to the major chain hotels, but it's worth the price and it's okay. A bit far from the city center. The parking lot is narrow and the number of cars is small.

I could see Karatsu Castle from the window of my room, but it was farther and smaller than I expected because it was quite far away. It is within walking distance to visit.

It was a plan without meals, but there are many places to eat if you walk a little. Rather, I think it's better to enjoy Karatsu's gourmet in the city.

[October 2022] This is a long-established business hotel run by an elderly couple. It is slightly cheaper than the neighboring business hotel, but the facilities are old. If you don't care about that area, I think it's totally ant. There are 5 parking spaces on the table. I don't think you'll ever know, but there were three in the back. Amenities were complete. The shower had a nice soft stream. I have a washlet. I appreciate having a refrigerator with a freezer function. The room at night is quite dark, so my eyes got tired when I was sorting out the materials on my laptop. It is convenient to have a convenience store nearby. It's a pity that the light from the nearby street lights is too strong and spoils the scenery, but Karatsu Castle lit up from the window was beautiful. The air conditioner was in a position where the direct wind did not hit the bed, so it was comfortable.

It's a fairly old building, but you can see the illuminated Karatsu Castle from the window, and the washlet, air conditioner, and bathroom in the room are clean. The bed was a bit stiff, but I liked the pillows. I think the front lobby will be a little surprised (laughs)
