The room is small, but it has all the amenities: a fridge and a hairdryer. There's a good set of disposable items, including a toothbrush, razor, and so on.
The staff is very responsive and helpful.
The location is great: there are many cafes nearby and places to walk around.
The main drawback: you can really hear the plumbing and sewage when someone showers on the floor above. I had to sleep with earplugs. The room was on the first floor.

Great location, service is acceptable. The hotel itself is quite run-down. As for cleanliness, they really tried their best.

The only good thing about this place is its location, and even that comes with caveats. There are internet jammer devices nearby, which means not only does their Wi-Fi work one minute out of two, but mobile internet only works outside. The rooms themselves are terrible. I could not only hear the man in the next room talking on the phone, but even the person he was talking to. Upon check-in, I had to wait for guests who arrived after me to be checked in first.

This hotel is generally quite good.

I stayed for one night during a layover. I was upgraded to a higher room category than I booked, which was spacious and even had complimentary bottled water. The facilities were good overall. However, I could hear conversations from the next room, possibly due to thin walls, and the breakfast, being a halal menu, had limited options, which was a bit disappointing.

I chose this hotel for its location; I flew to MK so I could walk. The breakfasts were hearty and varied. The receptionist upgraded my room upon check-in.

It seems to be a family-run hotel. There's a bar on the first floor and guest rooms on the second. It's very quiet at night, the rooms are clean and tidy, the price is reasonable, and breakfast is included. It's considered good value for money in Almaty.
