This hotel is a B&B.

Pros:
1. Run by Chinese owners, so communication is easy.
2. The breakfast is simple but Chinese-style, with congee, eggs, and steamed buns. You can also order Chinese lunch and dinner, which is great for satisfying Chinese cravings.
3. Not far from the exhibition center, about a 20-minute drive.
4. Located on a hill, so it's relatively quiet.
5. The owner is very welcoming, and it offers decent value for money.

Cons:
1. No private toilet in the room; you have to go outside to shower.
2. No elevator, so you have to carry your luggage.
3. Soundproofing is a bit poor.

The owner is Chinese, and the environment is decent, located in a villa in a wealthy neighborhood. Breakfast is quite fixed: steamed buns, shredded potatoes, and pickles, but it suits Chinese palates. You can also bring your own food to heat up or have them help you. Thumbs up!

This is a guesthouse owned by someone from Jiangsu. The owner was very welcoming, but the location is too remote and the room facilities are mediocre. It's not suitable for business trips.

We arrived in the evening, and the location on Google Maps was completely wrong, making it incredibly difficult to find. The hygiene was appalling. There were no disposable slippers; instead, we were given plastic ones to wear upon entering, only to later find a large clump of hair inside one of them. Everything in the room was covered in a layer of grime and dust, and to top it off, there was hair in the bedding. The toilet and shower were not in the room but were public facilities located in the hallway. We reluctantly stayed one night out of necessity and immediately booked another hotel. The most ridiculous part was that breakfast only started at 8:30 AM. How many business travelers sleep in that late before heading out? It was clear they had no real intention of serving breakfast, so we promptly gave up on it and left without looking back. It's truly a shame to see Chinese people scamming their own. Can't they just run an honest business? Is it really that difficult?

This is actually not a hotel but a hostel, converted from a residential building, located in a well-to-do resident neighbourhood. It is catered to PRC or China dwellers. We were rather disappointed due to the rather run down condition. Getting there was really far from central, so got to get YandexGo e-hailing. As you know, these PRC people smoked a lot and were a little noisy. The 3D2N room we booked was dirty, didn't seem to clean for ages. Makeshift bathroom was inside the bedroom, while toilet is outside and shared. Again, it hadn't been cleaned at all. Eating breakfast was a disaster where it was not sorted by guests. Instead, it was placed in the centre of dining table. Others who came 1st, had eaten before the rest can eat with limited seatings. We had to eat leftovers, which was frustrating. Furthermore, the PRC did not use separate utensils to take the food, it was so unhygienic. Although the host was friendly, the overall stay experience was unpleasant. We would recommend anyone to stay here again.

I'm trying to be fair with this review. First and foremost, this is a guesthouse, not a hotel. The location isn't particularly easy to find, and it was hard to locate even on ride-hailing apps. The accommodation features shared bathrooms and showers; a few rooms have a private toilet but no shower. The soundproofing is genuinely poor; you can clearly hear conversations at night. Secondly, some of the rooms are in the basement, and paying over 500 RMB for a basement room is definitely not worth it. Breakfast was a basic offering of cold cucumber salad, steamed buns, and rice porridge.

This should be more accurately described as a guest house for Chinese visitors in Almaty. The staff didn't speak any English and the included breakfast was clearly aimed at Chinese guests. However, the second morning, they did make an effort to provide fried eggs and salami instead of rice porridge, fried vegetables and spicy condiments. The friendly manager was also very helpful in ordering a taxi to take us to the airport.

Leave all your hopes for nice rest behind this “hotel”’s doors.
We had a trip with 2 my friends (3 girls) and we’ve ordered 2 standard rooms to stay.
We’ve arrived at 1pm. There were a lot of flip flops near the door, but no one inside. We’ve been waiting for a while, that we’ve met a hostess. She was very sweet (hospitality btw was the only nice thing there).
Nice lady walked us to our place to stay, it was Spa area. There was 2 rooms without windows (-1 floor), but shower was in common spa area (outside our rooms), sink and toilet were placed only in one of our rooms. All furniture items were either broken or dirty.
We were in such a messed mood because of all that horrible rooms’ conditions, we’ve switched a hotel immediately.
Photos of this “amazing” spa area and a neighbor room (with shower but without toilet) are attached.
PS there is nothing common between this place and Four Seasons hotels

I like the stay and Adiva she is good cook. She is very accommodating though she cannot speak English. Google translate helped us to communicate with her. Highly recommended to our friends and family. Book a taxi with them as the place is hardly reach by the airport taxi. In addition airport taxi is expensive. 😍✌️
